Anyone remember Dan Quayle? Vice President under George H.W. Bush. I remember him. I was a Republican then. I was also Military and prohibited from making political comments in those days.
Do you remember his famous Potato(e) incident? He “misspelled potato”. How about his famous remarks about “A Mind is a terrible thing….”? I remember them. I was there for the latter, as in physically present. And laughed.
His quote was to the NAACP, and he was trying to quote their famous saying, “A mind, is a terrible thing to waste.”
What came out was wrong, comical and made him a “laughing stock” on the side of the Left Leaning Democrats.

The audience laughed. It was Detroit, circa 1988 or so. I don’t remember precisely now, but I do have a memory of that moment, and I came away thinking “Where are the speech writers in this? Did someone CHECK this speech?”

He actually said he’d been to 57 states, with “one more to go” and Alaska and Hawaii he “wasn’t allowed to go to”. That’s actually 60 states. Obama thought there were 60….
A few days ago, after the Superbowl, Trump misstated the Chiefs home state as being Kansas, instead of Missouri. Me, not being a football fan, never thing KC, MO. I think of KC, KS. Weird how that works. And if anyone knows his geography, it’s me. But, for the Left it wasn’t a “mistake”, it was an indication of how bloody stupid Trump is.
We’re all human. We all make mistakes. We all get forgetful from time to time.
And we can all be so rude, and cruel to others.
The Left believes they have a lock on intelligence and intellect. They don’t. Some of us on the Right have been going to college for years and years and years. And many of us do NOT concentrate on a specific “discipline” but rather, go to learn. I went to learn as many of the sciences as possible. Funny how that works too. You know a lot about a lot, but you’re not “degreed” in this or that, so you’re considered “stupid” by the left.
The Left is so upset with “bullies”, they have campaigns against them. And they ALWAYS FAIL to realize when they are being bullies themselves.
We didn’t hire Trump to be a “nice guy who gets along to go along”. We hired Trump to make America Great Again. He is doing it too.
Pelosi stated she tore that speech up last night because she “couldn’t find one page with truth on it”.
Pelosi is a petulant, hateful Socialist.
She tore up dreams last night, in front of the people who were guests. She tore up stories about black Americans who’d “made it”, about Rush Limbaugh receiving the Medal of Freedom (something Obama made a mockery of). She tore up the story of General McGee, a 100 yr old WWII Survivor and Vet, who was a Tuskegee Airman. She tore up a personally delivered, signed, Presidential Speech, which, in some circles is worth real money.
She tore up her reputation in front of God and America. She is an Elitist Socialist. Nothing more. She wants all of you to be subservient to her and HER government. There’s no way in hell or on this Earth she will ever be President now. Ever.
America has awakened to the Socialist threat and doesn’t want it any more.
Trump has moved us away from the entrenched Socialists in the House and Senate and I advise strongly, that the rest of you losers who hate him so much, crawl back into your little dark caves, with the rest of the sheep who believe “Socialism can work” and stop it.
We’re on to your ignorance, we’re on to your bullying, your name calling, your hatefulness, and your absolute hate for America.
America stands. Communism has mostly fallen, and Socialism is a stepping stone to Communism.
We won’t comply. We won’t go down without a fight. We won’t give up our guns. We do not want a “Utopian World”.
We want America to remain strong, remain powerful, and remain unbeatable.
If not, you Socialists and your kind fall with the rest of us.
Remember, were it not for people like General McGee and Rush Limbaugh most of you “Socialists” wouldn’t be speaking like you are now.
