Government Corruption Runs Deep

Ladies and Gentlemen, I admit, I wasn’t really “keeping up” with the news the last few months as this “memo” thing began, nor did I pay much attention to the “Russian Collusion” story based solely on the fact I have no television and rarely see much news.

I read things on FB or the Internet and get interested and start digging. It’s how I get all my news. By getting interested in a story and then reading all side of the coin, not just one news agency, ALL OF THEM. Right, Left, Middle, Russian, German, French, makes no difference to me. I READ IT ALL.

After poring over that memo release and all the various news sources associated with it, I have come to a rather scary conclusion. Following are my thoughts only:

1) The memo details a lot of corruption. But, it’s only the surface. There is more to come, a LOT more. Names will get named, and connections will be made.

2) The corruption went all the way up the chain of command back to Obama himself, Susan Rice, Hillary Clinton, James Comey and many others.

3) This makes Watergate look like a “speeding ticket”.

4) The Democratic Party is in absolute MELTDOWN right now and you can judge that for yourselves by simply reading the screeching going on just on Facebook. They are self-destructing, and the lies keep coming, in droves.

5) I predict – and I rarely do this because I’m usually wrong – that there will be major protests in the next few weeks over this as more details are revealed. They will turn violent, to the point of destruction, turning over cars, “Antifa” will suddenly reappear, as will the “New Black Panthers” and other “Democrat support groups”… and the violence will get very, very large in major cities.

6) The Civil War is ON. This is no joke any more. It has been on-going now since before the elections (See a previous article I posted about How Civil War Happens) and understand that the violence will be directed at the cities at first, then at Right Wingers, Conservatives, White men and women, and children because they wil use Alinsky tactics to “pick a target, freeze it and attack it”. Mark my works on this.

7) The violence will get worse as the Spring and Summer drag on.

Be prepared. Keep your powder dry. Stock up on food and water and be ready for anything – or nothing at all. But always be Prepared for the worst. If you are a conceal carry license hold (and I don’t care if you are) don’t go OUT without your weapons any more and be trained and prepared to defend yourself. No one else is going to do it for you.

Before long, I’m afraid, we’re going to have to remove the Communists from America and take it back from them.  They’ve had a grip for too long.  It’s time to clean house.

The Arrogance of the Left

The arrogance of the these Left wing kooks never ceases to amaze and astound me.

Here’s a guy who out and out says exactly what we’ve been saying all along. That the “State” will “come take out guns” through the use of “militarized police”.

He goes on to state how he coolly handles those of us who say “You can have my guns when you pry them from my cold, dead fingers”. He says, “Oh, they will, and you’ll be dead in a pool of your own blood”.

Where his arrogance ends however is that we aren’t in this to play dead, or get dead, or to be the first to fire the “next shot heard ’round the world”.

We are in this for our Rights. Yes, that “Second Amendment” Right, and his blithering idiot “First Amendment” right. And all of the other of the first ten in the Bill of Rights.

The government, and it’s minions have NO rights to come take the guns “For the common good”. This is not a “Commonwealth”. America is neither a Monarchy where we are all “subjects” to a king, nor a Socialist State (Although so many of them like to THINK we are).

America is a Representative Constitutional Republic. We are not ruled by theocrats, autocrats, kings, emperors or the people we send to Washington, to the Capitols or the County Seats. We rule OURSELVES through those we place in office.

If, at this point the Left, Politicians and political appointees wish to test this theory, then Thomas Jefferson, one of America’s first “Bad Asses” said it first and I’ll repeat it for emphasis…. and I quote, “The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.”

Please, JIM KARGER, please understand that you too will be one of the masses lying there in a pool of your own blood, shot dead by the other side because you chose the wrong side to stand. And truthfully, you may fall victim to your beloved “State” because the second that most-hated “Second Amendment” goes away, you have nothing left to protect your “First Amendment” from the “State” masters.

Be the American Public so misguided, so ill-informed and so uneducated that they believe only that which is fed them by the media, the so-called Fourth Estate? The Media, the Press, the people who stood toe-to-toe with corrupt politicians in the past now stand behind them and take whatever they are fed, and then in turn feed that to a populous of sheep?

Another thing Mr. Jefferson said was, “I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them.”

Right he was. Until the future came upon men and women mindlessly caught up in the Battle of the Stars, Television and all sorts of other distraction.

I leave you with these thoughts my friends… be you a wise man, or poor, rich or idiot, none can do better for their country than to stand by it in tough times. That you stand by your country does NOT mean you follow all the laws, corrupt as they may be, or orders from on high, placed upon you as if you were a subject to a King. None of us are by birth slaves. No one in this country living today is a slave and none of shall be slaves again. But if, like Mr. Karger, one chooses such a path then Sam Adams said it best.

Why there is a problem with gun laws

Why do you need to own an ugly black rifle capable of shooting 2-4 rounds per second with the mere pull of a trigger?

Why do you need to be able to buy a thousand rounds?

Why do you NEED high capacity magazines?

I have a better question.  Why do you ask?

Seriously though, when I am asked these questions, sometimes it is difficult getting through to the people who ask.  They are asking the questions rhetorically and do not require, nor even WISH you give an answer.  In fact, they want you to splutter and hem and haw, and feel threatened and guilty.

Why are there gun control laws to begin with?  Why are there people on a no-fly list who can purchase guns?  Why are there people who should be in mental institutions who can purchase weapons?

These are the better questions.

The BEST question though is. if  criminal commits a crime using a gun, say, murder, why isn’t he adjudicated as a murderer and executed? Why aren’t people who are mentally defective put in mental institutions?

So many questions, so few answers, right?

Wrong.

Let’s look at the last questions first.

Because people believe that folks who are mentally deranged shouldn’t be placed in institutions.  Do-gooders for the past hundred years have fought to remove people from mental institutions and indeed, shut down such places.  The same people fought to have “privacy” added to medical records.

Now they wish to reverse this trend.  They would love to know if everyone out there is considered “sane” or not… but it’s not their business any more.

Then, they would like to ask you questions at the doctors office (and I have experienced this personally, so this isn’t some vacuous statement) about your ownership of guns; or whether you have “recently felt like harming yourself or others”.

Let me address the title; no-fly lists.  How does one even get ON a no-fly list?  And why are they on it?  Because they might blow up a plane with a 4 ounce bottle of shampoo?  Or because you spoke out against the US government because you’re dissatisfied with their work ethic?

Both, actually.  If you are a terrorist, you might wish to blow up a plane and perhaps you’ve made it clear, because, for instance you MIGHT belong to Islam.  Islam has made it abundantly clear they wish to kill Americans (and Jews, and Europeans, and Whites, Blacks, Asians, whomever, and wish to do so with impunity… because you’re an INFIDEL).  And you might have made a statement against the US government for their over-reaching, heavy-handed nonsense and you’re questioning their ability to be useful any more.

And with good reason.  You’re an American Citizen questioning the government, because YOU are a watchdog.  YOU are supposed to question the country’s leaders as a dutiful citizen.  Making sure they are doing their job, and doing it for the benefit of the people, and not themselves.

If you’re a terrorist you should BE on a no-fly list, in particular to prevent further training as a terrorist, and secondarily to that to prevent you from blowing up the damned plane.  You should NOT be able to purchase a gun.

If you’re a citizen questioning your government, you should NOT be a no-fly list, no matter which politician, party or group is running the White House this week.  In fact, you should not be on that list, you should NOT be questioned about your questioning, and you SHOULD be allowed to purchase a gun.

Or ten of them.  Or a hundred.

You should not be considered a threat, mentally defective, you should not be considered a person of interest and should be left the hell alone.

In the United States you have a right to your opinion, to express it, Freedom of Speech, Assembly, and to cross state lines and come and go as you please.  No one should be bothering you.

The second you actually commit a crime of course, that all goes out the window.

Now – I’m not going to answer all the above questions.  But I’m going to explain this, carefully for the slow readers out there….

If you are not a criminal (and that includes people who have committed non-capital offenses in the past and have served their time) should not be denied their rights.  They should not be placed on watch lists.  They should not be denied guns, freedom of speech, travel or assembly.

The Progressives in this country (Read: Liberals/Marxists/Communists/Libtards/Democrats and morons) are using words to push their agenda.  They want to be able to place ANYONE on a no-fly, watch list and thereby prevent them from buying, holding, using, storing or otherwise have rights to guns.

In other words, the idea of background checks is to see if someone doesn’t meet a certain criteria;  that criteria will be decided by whome EVER is in charge of the current government, be it GOP, Democrats, Obama, Leftist, Rightist, Libertarian, Marixist, Commie, Pinko or whatever….

Therein lies the problem.

Everyone wants to TRUST the government and it’s time to distrust them with all your hearts.

Our government is supposed to be by the people and for the people; not for themselves, not for profit, not to control us, not to have power.

Do not trust a politician who says they will “ban guns”.  Or implement regulations to “check backgrounds” because quite honestly, who is going to watch the watchers?????

You see, we already have several thousand gun laws on the books, federal, state, local, wish lists and made up stuff that some local “authority” can invoke at their whim.  Those rules, laws, city regulations, county statutes are all there for one thing.  To prevent you and me from having a normal, healthy, happy life pursuing whatever business we like, go where we wish and drink the beer we like.

You see my friends gun control isn’t about guns.

It’s about control.

No-fly lists are great if you’re preventing terrorists.  Not so good if you’re preventing granny or grandpa from boarding a plane to go home for Christmas.  Or stopping Joe Blow because he happens to have expressed dissatisfaction with a government policy of allowing in random illegal immigrants (who didn’t go through normal regulations and procedures to get into the country).

Our country is under siege.  Siege from illegals, from terrorists, from people who want to “change” our country to something it is not, and was never intended to be.

We are here to prevent the latter, more than anything.  And we will do so.

No more gun laws will be enacted.

No more “refugees” will be let in, or they will be run out.

NO more Obamas in office.  No more Clintons in office.  They had their day. And have ruined our country.

If you don’t like guns, by God move someplace where guns are already illegal.  If you don’t like the idea this is a Capitalist country, move to a Communist country.  I was here first, and my country was the way it was before you tried to screw it up.  If you don’t like the fact you can’t get some rich guys money split up amongst all your homies… then homie, move the fuck out of my country and leave the guys alone that have the money.

Those guys create jobs.  Or maybe you should just get a job?

The greatest problem with gun control is that anyone can be placed on a list, adjudicated as mentally defective and prevented from exercising their rights.

DOOMSAYERS, prepare your bunkers. The ‘Doomsday Clock’ is ticking.

The Bulletin of Atomic Scientists, a group founded by the creators of the atomic bomb, say the world is now three minutes from a catastrophic midnight and the closest it has been in 30 years.

The clock moved forward two minutes, citing global warming and the proliferation of nuclear weaponry as the world’s greatest threats.

“This is about Doomsday; this is about the end of civilisation as we know it,” Bulletin executive director Kennette Benedict said.

“The probability of global catastrophe is very high, and the actions needed to reduce the risks of disaster must be taken very soon.”

The Bulletin of Atomic Scientists was created in 1945 and the clock first appeared two years later on the Bulletin’s magazine cover. The minute hand has moved as far from midnight as 17 minutes (1991) but was once just two minutes away (1953).

The last time the clock was at three minutes to midnight was in 1983 during the Cold War between the US and the Soviet Union.

Richard Somerville, a member of the 20-member board of scientists at the Bulletin, said the burning of fossil fuels will lead to a “major climatic disruption globally”.

‘The urgency has nothing to do with politics or ideology,” Dr Somerville said.

“It arises from the laws of physics and biology and chemistry”.

A Doomsday Plane Reminder: Nuclear Weapons Haven’t Gone Away

Here’s a news item you may have missed over the holidays. The “doomsday planes” are being upgraded. Four E-4B flying command posts that would be used by U.S. leaders to manage military operations in a nuclear war will receive communications upgrades to enhance their “connectivity” during a conflict that could spell the end of civilization as we know it.

The reason you may have missed the story is that almost nobody besides InsideDefense.com reported it. National media were too busy covering more weighty matters like the efforts of North Korean agents to suppress a Sony film farce that insults the Dear Leader, and the attack on a French satirical magazine by a motley crew of extremists. How could nuclear Armageddon compete with that?

In fairness, the proposed upgrades to the “national airborne operations center” are just part of a routine reprogramming request that the Pentagon has submitted to Congress. But how often does any facet of the nation’s nuclear complex see the light of day in national media? Other than cheating scandals and an occasional misplaced weapon, the media have ceased paying attention to the most likely way in which America might one day disappear forever.

America’s military hasn’t. One of the four doomsday planes is kept on continuous alert and manned at all times. The planes are designed to stay airborne as long as a week with aerial refueling. All of the on-board equipment is hardened against nuclear effects, including the cockpit windows which are covered with mesh similar to that on your microwave oven. If called into service because of a nuclear crisis, the heavily modified Boeing 747s could each carry a crew of over a hundred specialists for managing the conflict, with communications transmitted through satellite uplinks and a wire antenna trailing five miles behind the plane. If the president and defense secretary have been killed, there are plans in place for devolving command to the most senior official still available.

U.S. military planners take this threat so seriously that when the president goes overseas, one of the doomsday planes always follows. It needs to be nearby at all times, as does the military aide within a few yards of the president carrying nuclear launch codes and communications gear. Similar provisions have been made in Russia, which maintains most of its intercontinental ballistic missiles on a high state of alert for fear of losing them in an American first strike.

The Russians are improving the survivability of their long-range missiles by deploying more of them on mobile launchers that can’t be targeted as easily as fixed silos. But you probably haven’t heard about that either, so let me tell you a bit about them. Most of the missiles will likely be equipped with four warheads that can be independently targeted. We don’t know what the explosive force of each warhead is, however a typical yield for the Russian strategic force is around 500 kilotons — equivalent to half a million tons of conventional high explosives.

There’s nothing conventional about nuclear weapons, though. When a conventional munition is exploded, it heats the immediate vicinity by a few thousand degrees. The heat of a nuclear blast at its center is more akin to tens of millions of degrees. So if one of those 500-kiloton warheads is exploded a mile above Boston or Dallas, everything within a one-mile radius is destroyed, heavy damage extends to three miles, and fires will be widespread out to five miles. Not that it will matter to most of the people near ground zero — they will be killed immediately by blast effects or a wind-spread firestorm that expands faster than they can escape (initial wind speed: 700 miles per hour). People further away will linger longer before succumbing to the effects of prompt and delayed radiation. Electronic devices will be shut down for a hundred miles in every direction due to the electromagnetic pulse generated by the blast.

And that’s just the effects from one nuclear warhead. Russia has over 2,000 nuclear warheads capable of reaching America, a fact that will not change materially if pending arms-control agreements are implemented. That’s actually a big improvement from where things stood at the end of the Cold War, when Russia had over 40,000 strategic and tactical nuclear weapons in its arsenal; the number has shrunk by 90% today if you don’t count the weapons awaiting disassembly.

However, there things are likely to sit for the foreseeable future, because as you undoubtedly have heard, Washington and Moscow aren’t getting along these days. In fact, the relationship is going so poorly that many in the Russian capital fear an attack from the West, which is one reason why strategic rocket forces are kept on a high state of alert. The likelihood of new arms agreements in such circumstances is not high. Besides, U.S. arms-control strategy is grounded in a series of assumptions about how to stabilize the strategic balance that requires giving Russia an “assured destruction” capability against America, so arms agreements aren’t going to eliminate the specter of nuclear war. U.S. military experts figure that if the arsenals on each side fall much below a thousand “deliverable” warheads, cheating would be encouraged by the prospect of achieving military advantage in a future nuclear exchange.

Thus the main protection Americans have against Russian nuclear aggression today is Moscow’s awareness that the U.S. force could ride out a surprise attack and then retaliate by laying waste to the Motherland. That strategy appears likely to work well as long as Russian leaders are rational and don’t make miscalculations in a crisis. If they are crazy, or prone to mistakes, or lose control of their arsenal during a period of instability — well, then all bets are off. You see, a corollary assumption of the way the U.S. currently practices nuclear deterrence is that America’s own homeland can’t be well-defended. That might make Russians worry about the credibility of their deterrent, leading to a destabilizing arms race.

So here we are, apparently doomed to live with the possibility of nuclear war indefinitely. Just ten of the warheads in the Russian arsenal, optimally targeted, could collapse the U.S. electric grid. Fifty would be sufficient to render uninhabitable every U.S. city with a population of over half a million souls. Two hundred would effectively wipe out the U.S. economy, destroying all major transportation, communications, medical and financial networks. There is no guarantee that the nation could ever recover from such a catastrophe (maybe China could pick up the pieces).

Why doesn’t this story get more attention, since it’s the only manmade threat that really could wipe out our civilization? One possible reason is that people think nuclear war is very improbable – a failure of imagination, as Thomas Friedman put it after the 9-11 attacks. Another reason, perhaps, is that they’ve simply gotten used to the danger, and prefer not to think about the unthinkable. But a third possibility, which would be worth testing, is that a majority of Americans believe they are defended against nuclear attack, even though in the common-sense definition of that term they are not.

Somehow, Americans have arrived at a time in their history when they spend hundreds of billions of dollars shoring up the security of countries on the other side of the world, but have almost no protection against the one danger that could obliterate everything they cherish. This isn’t just a catastrophe waiting to happen, it is a political cause waiting to be embraced.

The founder and president of the Christian Action Network, Martin Mawyer, was a guest on Fox News Channel’s Hannity where he said there are 35 terrorist training compounds scattered throughout the United States under the lead of Sheikh Gilani and governed by Muslims of America. Mayer explained that these groups are protected by the U.S. Constitution.

“We spent two-and-a-half years investigating this group and during that time we interviewed law enforcement about why these groups, why these facilities were allowed to exist in the United States. We got a host of reasons, but the number one reason is they are protected by the U.S. Constitution and they are protected by state constitutions in the United States. Really, law enforcement’s hands are tied in trying to shut these groups down.”

Mawyer said he believes these groups are planning another attack on Americans.

Groups fly under radar as Congress seems unconcerned

Last week’s brazen attack by a “home-grown” terrorist cell in France that targeted the staff of satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo has drawn renewed interest in potential cells operating inside the United States.

And there are many.

The FBI is aware of at least 22 paramilitary Islamic communes in the U.S., operated by the shadowy Pakistan-based group Jamaat al-Fuqra and its main U.S. front group, Muslims of America Inc.

With U.S. headquarters in Islamberg, New York, the group headed by Pakistani cleric Sheikh Mubarak Ali Gilani operates communes in mostly remote areas of California, Georgia, South Carolina, New York, Texas, Virginia, West Virginia, Washington, Michigan, Tennessee and other states.

The FBI describes the MOA compound in Texas, called Mahmoudberg, as an enclave and “communal living site.” Located in Brazoria County along County Road 3 near Sweeny, Texas, it was discovered a couple of years ago by the FBI through a tip from an informant in New York.

The Texas commune, in a heavily wooded area, is estimated by a local resident to encompass about 25 acres. It dates back to the late 1980s, the resident said, which is confirmed by the FBI documents previously reported on by WND.

Pamela Geller, author of the Atlas Shrugs blog and the book “Stop the Islamization of America,” has been following the militant training compounds since 2007.

Gilani’s group operates a slick website in which a female narrator in one promo video waxes beautifully about how the group has rescued many young Americans from a life a crime, drugs and poverty. The group claims to focus on a ministry to “indigenous American Muslims.” One would never guess from the video that the group trains young men and women in the use of small arms and military tactics.

Most of the recruits living at these communes are African-Americans who converted to Islam while doing hard time in state or federal prisons, Geller says. They have operated “under the not-so-watchful eye” of the FBI since the early 1980s, she says, but few Americans are aware of their existence all these years later.

“Probably they haven’t been raided because Jamaat al-Fuqra is not listed as a terrorist group by the U.S. government and because there is a great reluctance among government and law enforcement agencies across the board, no matter who is president, to appear to be anti-Muslim,” Geller told WND. “These compounds say they’re peaceful Muslim communities, and the government wants to give the impression that such things can exist in the U.S. without any trouble.”

Indeed, MOA has operated freely under the watch of every president since Ronald Reagan. The group’s leader, Gilani, moved to America from Pakistan in 1979 and has been developing his network of communes ever since. He was once investigated by the Pakistani government for possible involvement in the murder of Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl. Some reports say he has as many as 35 affiliated compounds throughout the U.S., although only about 22 of the sites have been verified.

There have been run-ins with the law involving murder and financial scheming back in the 1990s.
In 1991, after a MOA bomb plot in Toronto was foiled, a federal search warrant for three suspects was issued and a nearly 45-acre compound about 70 miles south of Dallas was raided. The location of the compound corresponds to a reference in an FBI document obtained by the Clarion Project that says about seven MOA members purchased property near Corsicana, Texas.

Federal officials found four mobile homes; three military, general-purpose tents; and six vehicles. Also discovered were loose ammunition, books on counter-terrorism techniques and weaponry and various items with “Jamaat Fuqra Land” written on them.

Another compound in Buena Vista, Colorado, was raided and shut down by state authorities in 1992. But there have been no raids on any of the encampments since the 1990s.

Murder, firebombing

A 2007 FBI record states that members of the group have been involved in at least 10 murders, one disappearance, three firebombings, one attempted firebombing, two explosive bombings and one attempted bombing.

“The documented propensity for violence by this organization supports the belief the leadership of the MOA extols membership to pursue a policy of jihad or holy war against individuals or groups it considers enemies of Islam, which includes the U.S. Government,” the document states. “Members of the MOA are encouraged to travel to Pakistan to receive religious and military/terrorist training from Sheikh Gilani.”

The document also says Muslims of America is now “an autonomous organization which possesses an infrastructure capable of planning and mounting terrorist campaigns overseas and within the U.S.”

Robert Spencer, author of the JihadWatch blog and several books about radical Islam, says the communes operate much like Europe’s “no-go zones,” which are Islamic enclaves where adherents live under Shariah law and are off limits to non-Muslims. Police also tend to avoid the enclaves.

“Yes, there are similarities. They’re both very hostile to outsiders and have a history of hostility to law enforcement, and there has been evidence that police are hesitant to go into these communes just as they are in Europe,” Spencer told WND.

They are different in that they operate mostly in remote rural areas of the U.S., unlike the urban no-go zones in Europe’s major cities.

A mystical sect of Islam

Gilani is a follower of Sufi Islam, an ancient mystical sect that believes in miracles, signs and wonders.

Some Middle East historians have described the Sufis as more moderate and peaceful than their Sunni or Shiite cousins, but this is a mistake in Spencer’s view.

The Chechen jihad against the Russians was led by Sufis from the 19th century until the influx of Wahhabi Arabs in the late 20th century.

And Hassan al-Banna, one of early leaders of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, prescribed Sufi exercises for Brotherhood members, Spencer said.

“They’re more mystical, but that does not mean they reject the principles of violent jihad,” he said.

Muhammad al-Ghazali, a Persian philosopher and founder of the modern Sufi movement in the late 11th century, “was very clear and strong in speaking about the necessity of waging violent jihad,” Spencer said.

The FBI report on Muslims of America has been heavily redacted but clearly says the group has engaged in murders and fire bombings in the U.S.

“So that’s the FBI speaking not some Islamophobe,” Spencer said.

Gilani, who did not immediately respond to WND’s request for an interview, teaches that Muslims should be self-sustaining and separate from the broader American culture. But he also purports to teach that they foster “good relations with our Christian brethren,” according to the group’s website.

Christian Action Network did a documentary on the elusive Gilani in 2009. The documentary shows the Christians being greeted at the entrance to a compound in New York with tremendous hostility.

“Christian Network was told by the local cops not to go there and not to bother them but they went anyway, and neighbors said they heard firearms training and all kinds of things going on there,” Spencer said.

According to their own video, the MOA groups are all about peace, miraculous sightings of Allah and the mystical healing of incurable diseases from AIDS to cancer. They also make a point of claiming to develop their brand of Islam within the framework of being good American citizens.

This is all written off by Spencer as “window dressing” and Geller agrees.

“All Islamic groups make similar claims – including the Hamas-linked Council on American-Islamic Relations, designated a terror organization by the United Arab Emirates,” Geller said. “These claims have to be balanced against the group’s others words, and its actions. MOA members have been involved in murders and firebombings in the U.S.”

They have also been involved in violence against other Muslims.

The Islamic spiritual leader Rashad Kalifa was one of the victims. He was a Muslim scholar who translated the Quran into English and also developed a teaching based on a Quranic numbering system that marked him as a false prophet and a heretic by many Muslims, including those affiliated with the MOA. Kalifa was found stabbed 29 times in the kitchen of a Tucson mosque in 1990. One member of MOA was found guilty of conspiracy in the killing and sentenced to 69 years.

“We should monitor them very closely. Hold hearings if necessary (in Congress),” Geller said. “Conduct a thorough investigation of each of these compounds with or without hearings.”

Former Rep. Michele Bachmann, R-Minn., was one member of Congress who tried to get her colleagues to pay more attention to groups like MOA, but had little success.

“For years we’ve heard viable reports and seen photos and video tape suggesting Islamic jihadist training camps located in states such as Texas, Georgia and elsewhere.

U.S. national law enforcement agencies have a duty to secure the safety of the American people – that is the number one duty of government,” Bachmann told WND.

But the federal government, and increasingly state and local governments, have been more concerned about offending Muslims and bowing to the wishes of Muslim Brotherhood front groups like Council on American-Islamic Relations, she said.

“For law enforcement to fail to investigate reports of U.S.-based terror training camps or to turn a blind eye to incitement activities in U.S.-based Islamic centers is to intentionally avoid a tragic reality of American life,” she said. “In retrospect, wouldn’t it have been better for the U.S. military to have acted on their evidence and suspicions of the Fort Hood shooter? Wouldn’t it have been better for the FBI to have investigated the Islamic center of Boston prior to the Boston marathon bombing?”

“The clues to see Islamic jihad were and are in front of our eyes,” Bachmann added. “If only our government had the political will to see and act upon them.”

Over 114 people have now been or are currently being tested for Ebola in the U.S. With all of the myriad rumors and potential cases of Ebola out there, it’s important to remember that not every single person tested is going to be positive. This article was started in an attempt to list new potential cases, and our staff will update it with results as soon as they come in.

POSITIVE:

Nebraska:

Ashoka Mukpo, the cameraman who contacted Ebola in Liberia while on shoot for NBC News last week, is currently headed for treatment at Nebraska Medical Center’s specialized isolation unit. (source)

Spain:

A Spanish nurse who treated a priest in Madrid who died of Ebola is suspected to be the first case of the disease contracted outside West Africa, media in Spain reported on Monday, citing sources within the country’s health authorities.

Spanish newspaper El Pais and radio Cadena Ser were among those who said the nurse had tested positive for Ebola in initial tests and officials were awaiting final results. (source)

PENDING CASES

Florida:

Local10.com is reporting that a teenager from West Africa was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital on Sunday after exhibiting signs of Ebola, but the city of Miami Beach said preliminary results are negative. The test specimen is being sent to the CDC for a confirmation test.

Delaware:

Fox News is reporting that a patient with Ebola-like symptoms is being treated at a hospital in Delaware.

Missouri:

KCTV 5 News is reporting that officials at the Kansas City Health Department are currently monitoring a patient for “a contagious virus,” but it is “extremely unlikely that this person has Ebola because of their travel history and lack of symptoms. It is unknown at this time what the patient is suffering from or if anyone else is sick.”  (source)

Connecticut:

Two Yale University graduate students who have been over in Liberia working to develop an Ebola tracking system for the government will be voluntarily isolating themselves when they return to the U.S. this weekend. (source)

Massachusetts

A patient with a history of travel from West Africa is currently being evaluated under isolation at UMass Memorial Medical Center on Saturday night. Although hospital officials say it is likely not Ebola, they are isolating until tests can confirm this. (source)

Texas

The Dallas Fire-Rescue ambulance crew who transported the man infected with Ebola to the hospital have tested negative for the Ebola virus, according to the City of Dallas.

The City of Dallas said Tuesday that the crew took all safety precautions and was isolated and tested following the discovery.

The three members of the ambulance crew are restricted to their homes while their conditions are observed and while the virus’ incubation period passes. (source)

Utah

Health officials are investigating a possible case of Ebola at Primary Children’s Hospital in Utah, it has been confirmed.

The patient, who has not been identified, had recently traveled to a country in Africa where transmission of the Ebola virus has not yet been reported, chief of pediatric infectious diseases Dr Andrew Pavia told a press conference.

He said the patient was admitted on Wednesday and insists it is unlikely they have the deadly virus.

Tests taken today have been sent to the CDC’s headquarters for evaluation as part of the hospital’s test. (source)

Iowa

News has been circulating via a comment on YouTube from a supposed Iowa hospital worker that a child under observation at a nearby hospital had been tested for Ebola, results forthcoming. The worker was reportedly told along with staff to expect a positive result and react accordingly.

No word on the child, but a story was published on KCCI 8 News out of Des Moines that went out yesterday began with this:

People continue to email and call KCCI on Thursday saying they’ve head of Ebola patients in a Des Moines hospital.

The rumors are false, health officials said.

“IDPH confirms there are no cases of #Ebola in Iowa. Social media reports of Ebola in Iowa are untrue,” wrote Iowa Department of Public Health on Twitter. (source)

Interesting because the YouTube comment did not mention confirmed Ebola patients. It only mentioned that a child suspected of possibly having Ebola had been tested for it…

Virginia

Two patients in Virginia were tested for Ebola after displaying possible symptoms, however state health officials believe they do not have the virus.

The two Virginians met the travel criteria identified by the Centers for Disease Control, NBC12 has learned.

According to the Virginia Department of Health, one patient is from northwest Virginia. The other patient tested is from eastern Virginia. The tests as of late Friday have not indicated the Ebola virus in either patients. The Department of Health said Friday there are no confirmed cases of the deadly virus in the Commonwealth.

Both patients were isolated from the general population, but were not ordered to be quarantined. The patients had traveled to an area impacted by the Ebola virus and displayed symptoms which are similar to those infected, according to health officials. The patients were isolated and tested. Preliminary results indicated they do not have Ebola. (source)

Florida

A man in Sarasota is in the hospital this morning, getting treatment for Ebola-like symptoms.

Sarasota Memorial Hospital says the patient recently traveled here from West Africa and showed up to the emergency room in Sarasota. The patient was kept in isolation and evaluated by emergency medicine and infectious disease specialists. Hospital officials say the it is “highly unlikely” that the man has the Ebola virus.

They say he did not actually visit any high-risk Ebola countries, and he didn’t meet the CDC criteria for Ebola testing. The hospital reported the case to the Florida Department of Health, and it’s not clear if any further testing will be done. (source)

NEGATIVE CASES

 Canada:

A patient at a Toronto hospital is being tested for Ebola as well as other possible illnesses.

Toronto’s University Health Network (UHN) confirmed a patient who had recently traveled to West Africa was admitted to one of its four hospitals with a fever, but wouldn’t say which hospital or what West African country.

The person is in isolation and staff are using protective equipment until the test results are in – likely within the next 24 hours. (source)

UPDATE: The Toronto patient has tested negative for the Ebola virus, the University Health Network confirmed early Saturday.

Washington, D.C.

A patient with Ebola-like symptoms is being treated at Howard University Hospital in Washington, D.C., a hospital spokesperson confirmed late Friday morning.The patient had traveled to Nigeria recently.

That person has been admitted to the hospital in stable condition, and is being isolated and tested. The medical team is working with the CDC to determine whether the patient has Ebola. (source)

UPDATES: The D.C. Department of Health and the CDC have announced that the D.C. patient under observation for potential Ebola infection has tested negative.

The second patient thought to possibly have Ebola in the D.C. area at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital in Rockville also tested negative. It was actually not Ebola, but malaria.

Hawaii

A possible Ebola virus case has surfaced in Hawaii, where a patient is in isolation and undergoing tests, the Hawaii Health Department said.

“We are early in the investigation of a patient, very, very early, who we’re investigating that might have Ebola. It’s very possible that they do and they have Ebola. I think it’s also more likely that they have another condition that presents with similar symptoms,” said Dr. Melissa Viray, deputy state epidemiologist told KHON-TV, Honolulu. She added the public need not be concerned, reinforcing that the situation remains only a possible case of the Ebola virus. (source)

UPDATE: The Hawaii State Department of Health said Thursday it had ruled out the possibility that a patient isolated at a Honolulu hospital has the Ebola virus.

The patient, an unidentified man, was admitted to the Queen’s Medical Center on Wednesday after experiencing what hospital officials called “possible symptoms that may be consistent with Ebola.”

Early Thursday morning, the United States Centers for Disease Control & Prevention said the isolated patient was not tested for Ebola because his symptoms did not match those typically associated with the virus. The State Department of Health followed that sentiment several hours later, when it confirmed that the individual was “no longer under evaluation for possible Ebola infection.” (source)

Georgia

The Cobb County Jail is no longer accepting inmates after an inmate developed a fever. The man told jail officials that he recently traveled to Africa.

Jail officials confirm to Channel 2′s Ross Cavitt that the inmate is being tested for Ebola.

The man was arrested overnight for DUI. (source)

UPDATE: Initial test results for an inmate at the Cobb County Jail for the Ebola virus have come back negative, according to the Cobb County Sheriff’s Department.

Maryland

Shady Grove Adventist Hospital in Montgomery County, Maryland has confirmed they are treating a patient “that presented with flu-like symptoms and a travel history that matches criteria for possible Ebola.”

They claim to have implemented CDC safety measures. No confirmed diagnosis as of 4:35 PM CST 09/03/2014. (source)

UPDATE: Officials at one of the hospitals, Shady Grove Adventist Hospital in Rockville, determined late Friday that their patient had malaria, not Ebola, hospital officials said in a statement late Friday.

 

New Jersey

A United Airlines flight from Brussels was met by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention officials at Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey after a passenger on board believed to be from Liberia exhibited possible signs of Ebola.

The passenger, who was vomiting on the plane, was traveling with his daughter. Both were escorted off the plane by by CDC members in Hazmat gear.

UPDATE: Fresh reports out now state this patient does not have Ebola but an unrelated illness.

Sen. Harry Reid (D-Nev.) claimed on Thursday that armed supporters of rancher Cliven Bundy are “domestic terrorists” and reckless individuals who put their families in danger.

The rhetoric certainly will do nothing to ease already-high tensions after the Bureau of Land Management prematurely shut down its operation to round up Bundy’s “trespass cattle” on Saturday. The federal agency cited fears of public safety after having run-ins with armed militia members who traveled to Bunkerville, Nev., to support the rancher.
Bundy reportedly owes the federal government roughly $1 million in grazing fees, an amount he accumulated after he “fired” the Bureau of Land Management in 1993 over its decision to turn public land into a protective habitat for the state’s desert tortoise.
There are two court orders that permit BLM to execute a roundup of 500 to 900 of Bundy’s “trespass cattle,” Reid reportedly said.
Reid, who recently said the situation is “not over,” revealed on Thursday there is a federal task force being assembled to handle to the tense situation.

EPA Changes The Borders Of Wyoming; Governor Appeals Decision

Just when you think that the EPA can’t get any more out of control, it decides to change the border of a state.

According to an article on Trib.com, the EPA overturned a 1905 Federal Law by expanding the Wind River Indian Reservation:

CHEYENNE — Gov. Matt Mead’s administration is calling on the Environmental Protection Agency to freeze implementation of its recent decision that more than 1 million acres around Riverton remains legally Indian Country.

Wyoming Attorney General Peter Michael wrote Monday to national EPA Administrator Gina McCarthy and Regional Administrator Shawn McGrath in Denver asking them to reconsider the agency’s decision.

The EPA ruled last month that a 1905 federal law opening part of the Wind River Indian Reservation to settlement by non-Indians didn’t extinguish the land’s reservation status.

The EPA addressed the reservation boundary issue in its decision last month that granted an application from the Eastern Shoshone and Northern Arapaho tribes. The tribes had applied to have the reservation treated as a separate state under the federal Clean Air Act.

Wyoming’s Governor, Matt Mead, says he will fight the decision and is concerned that a Federal Agency assumes it has the power to alter a state’s boundaries:

Mead has pledged to challenge the EPA decision in federal court. The state’s request to the EPA to halt implementation of its decision could help the state if it later asks the court to block the agency’s decision while the appeal plays out.

“My deep concern is about an administrative agency of the federal government altering a state’s boundary and going against over 100 years of history and law,” Mead said. “This should be a concern to all citizens because, if the EPA can unilaterally take land away from a state, where will it stop?”

If you agree with the decision or not, the EPA does not have the power to adjust the borders of a state.  The proper places for such a decision are either in the legislative branch or the judicial branch.  To me this is an obvious abuse of a power the EPA wrongly assumes it has…

Nuclear Weapon EMP Effects

A high-altitude nuclear detonation produces an immediate flux of gamma rays from the nuclear reactions within the device. These photons in turn produce high energy free electrons by Compton scattering at altitudes between (roughly) 20 and 40 km. These electrons are then trapped in the Earth’s magnetic field, giving rise to an oscillating electric current. This current is asymmetric in general and gives rise to a rapidly rising radiated electromagnetic field called an electromagnetic pulse (EMP). Because the electrons are trapped essentially simultaneously, a very large electromagnetic source radiates coherently.

The pulse can easily span continent-sized areas, and this radiation can affect systems on land, sea, and air. The first recorded EMP incident accompanied a high-altitude nuclear test over the South Pacific and resulted in power system failures as far away as Hawaii. A large device detonated at 400-500 km over Kansas would affect all of CONUS. The signal from such an event extends to the visual horizon as seen from the burst point.

The EMP produced by the Compton electrons typically lasts for about 1 microsecond, and this signal is called HEMP. In addition to the prompt EMP, scattered gammas and inelastic gammas produced by weapon neutrons produce an intermediate timesignal from about 1 microsecond to 1 second. The energetic debris entering the ionosphere produces ionization and heating of the E-region. In turn, this causes the geomagnetic field to heave,producing a late-time magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) EMP generally called a heave signal.

Initially, the plasma from the weapon is slightly conducting; the geomagnetic field cannot penetrate this volume and is displaced as a result. This impulsive distortion of the geomagnetic field was observed worldwide in the case of the STARFISH test. To be sure, the size of the signal from this process is not large, but systems connected to long lines (e.g., power lines, telephone wires, and tracking wire antennas) are at risk because of the large size of the induced current. The additive effects of the MHD-EMP can cause damage to unprotected civilian and military systems that depend on or use long-line cables. Small, isolated, systems tend to be unaffected.

Military systems must survive all aspects of the EMP, from the rapid spike of the early time events to the longer duration heave signal. One of the principal problems in assuring such survival is the lack of test data from actual high-altitude nuclear explosions. Only a few such experiments were carried out before the LTBT took effect, and at that time the theoretical understanding of the phenomenon of HEMP was relatively poor. No high-altitude tests have been conducted by the United States since 1963. In addition to the more familiar high-yield tests mentioned above, three small devices were exploded in the Van Allen belts as part of Project Argus. That experiment was intended to explore the methods by which electrons were trapped and traveled along magnetic field lines.

The acid test of the response of modern military systems to EMP is their performance in simulators, particularly where a large number of components are involved. So many cables, pins, connectors, and devices are to be found in real hardware that computation of the progress of the EMP signal cannot be predicted, even conceptually, after the field enters a real system. System failures or upsets will depend upon the most intricate details of current paths and interior electrical connections, and one cannot analyze these beforehand. Threat-level field illumination from simulators combined with pulsed-current injection are used to evaluate the survivability of a real system against an HEMP threat.

The technology to build simulators with risetimes on the order of 10 ns is well known. This risetime is, however, longer than that of a real HEMP signal. Since 1986 the United States has used a new EMP standard which requires waveforms at threat levels having risetimes under a few nanoseconds. Threat-level simulators provide the best technique for establishing the hardness of systems against early-time HEMP. They are, however, limited to finite volumes (aircraft, tanks, communications nodes) and cannot encompass an extended system. For these systems current injection must be used.

HEMP can pose a serious threat to military systems when even a single high-altitude nuclear explosion occurs. In principle, even a new nuclear proliferator could execute such a strike. In practice, however, it seems unlikely that such a state would use one of its scarce warheads to inflict damage which must be considered secondary to the primary effects of blast, shock, and thermal pulse. Furthermore, a HEMP attack must use a relatively large warhead to be effective (perhaps on the order of one mega-ton), and new proliferators are unlikely to be able to construct such a device, much less make it small enough to be lofted to high altitude by a ballistic missile or space launcher. Finally, in a tactical situation such as was encountered in the Gulf War, an attack by Iraq against Coalition forces would have also been an attack by Iraq against its own communications, radar, missile, and power systems. EMP cannot be confined to only one side of the burst.

Source Region Electro-magnetic Pulse [SREMP] is produced by low-altitude nuclear bursts. An effective net vertical electron current is formed by the asymmetric deposition of electrons in the atmosphere and the ground, and the formation and decay of this current emits a pulse of electromagnetic radiation in directions perpendicular to the current. The asymmetry from a low-altitude explosion occurs because some electrons emitted downward are trapped in the upper millimeter of the Earth’s surface while others, moving upward and outward, can travel long distances in the atmosphere, producing ionization and charge separation. A weaker asymmetry can exist for higher altitude explosions due to the density gradient of the atmosphere.

Within the source region, peak electric fields greater than 10 5 V/m and peak magnetic fields greater than 4,000 A/m can exist. These are much larger than those from HEMP and pose a considerable threat to military or civilian systems in the affected region. The ground is also a conductor of electricity and provides a return path for electrons at the outer part of the deposition region toward the burst point. Positive ions, which travel shorter distances than electrons and at lower velocities, remain behind and recombine with the electrons returning through the ground. Thus, strong magnetic fields are produced in the region of ground zero. When the nuclear detonation occurs near to the ground, the SREMP target may not be located in the electromagnetic far field but may instead lie within the electro-magnetic induction region. In this regime the electric and magnetic fields of the radiation are no longer perpendicular to one another, and many of the analytic tools with which we understand EM coupling in the simple plane-wave case no longer apply. The radiated EM field falls off rapidly with increasing distance from the deposition region (near to the currents the EMP does not appear to come from a point source).

As a result, the region where the greatest damage can be produced is from about 3 to 8 km from ground zero. In this same region structures housing electrical equipment are also likely to be severely damaged by blast and shock. According to the third edition of The Effects of Nuclear Weapons, by S. Glasstone and P. Dolan, the threat to electrical and electronic systems from a surface-burst EMP may extend as far as the distance at which the peak overpressure from a 1-megaton burst is 2 pounds per square inch.

One of the unique features of SREMP is the high late-time voltage which can be produced on long lines in the first 0.1 second. This stress can produce large late-time currents on the exterior shields of systems, and shielding against the stress is very difficult. Components sensitive to magnetic fields may have to be specially hardened. SREMP effects are uniquely nuclear weapons effects.

During the Cold War, SREMP was conceived primarily as a threat to the electronic and electrical systems within hardened targets such as missile launch facilities. Clearly, SREMP effects are only important if the targeted systems are expected to survive the primary damage-causing mechanisms of blast, shock, and thermal pulse. Because SREMP is uniquely associated with nuclear strikes, technology associated with SREMP generation has no commercial applications. However, technologies associated with SREMP measurement and mitigation are commercially interesting for lightning protection and electromagnetic compatibility applications. Basic physics models of SREMP generation and coupling to generic systems, as well as numerical calculation, use unclassified and generic weapon and target parameters. However, codes and coupling models which reveal the response and vulnerability of current or future military systems are militarily critical.

How are things working in the country today?  Almost all voters — 88 percent — say “the government is in charge of the people.”  That includes 83 percent of Democrats, 88 percent of independents and 94 percent of Republicans.

Only 8 percent feel “the people are in charge of the government.”

The Fox News poll is based on landline and cell phone interviews with 952 randomly chosen registered voters nationwide and was conducted under the joint direction of Anderson Robbins Research (D) and Shaw & Company Research (R) from October 1-2, 2013.  The full poll has a margin of sampling error of plus or minus three percentage points.

The United States federal government is so big that it can shut down and somehow no one really notices. That’s the truth. What difference did you notice yesterday? I am sure there are subtle things that we could pick out but when vital services keep running there isn’t a lot to shut down. Because our government sees everything as vital.

Yesterday we ran an article on The D.C. Clothesline written by Tim Brown. It didn’t garner much attention and it’s primarily my fault. I put a bad title on it. It happens.

But the message of the article is something that a lot of people have been waiting to hear. I can’t tell you how many times I have had conversations in which someone interjected the inevitable…

When are we going to stop talking and do something about it?

That’s a hard question to answer because no one really wants to be “that guy.” This goes for the person making the comment as well. No offense but that person isn’t telling me something like, “follow me I have a plan.” Everyone is waiting for someone else to take the lead.

Well, someone has taken the lead and in fact it’s several people that have. We all know about the Trucker’s strike that will be here very soon. It is planned for October 11-13. For those who may have missed it, you can find more information at ridefortheconstitution.org

As the truckers prepare to do their best to force their own brand of government shut down, Mr. Larry Klayman (founder of Judicial Watch) has upped the ante and is planning his own date with destiny.

In the wake of bikers roaring through the streets of DC in protest and just ahead of a planned shut down of DC by truckers, founder of Judicial Watch Larry Klayman has set a date of November 19, 2013 on which he is calling for Americans to “descend onWashington, D.C., en masse, and demand that he leave town and resign from office if he does not want to face prison time” for pushing “his Muslim, socialist, anti-Semitic, anti-Christian, anti-white, pro-illegal immigrant, pro-radical gay and lesbian agenda.”

Klayman is of course talking about Barack Obama.

We need these traitors gone and we need to start at the very top. After Obama rolls we can go after the rest like a bull in a China shop.

A blind man throwing darts could spear a traitor within this group. Even the good guys aren’t that good. I’m getting sick of patting people on the back simply because they do their jobs. That’s what we pay them to do. They aren’t going the extra mile simply because they are part of the 2% in D.C. who are semi-honest. They are simply doing their job.

What is wrong with this picture? Does your boss come up to you every day and say, “Bob, way to run that drill press. You should be president of this company.”

Probably not. But that’s exactly what we do every day in America. We make heroes out of guys like Ted Cruz and Rand Paul and it’s not because they are extra special, although I am fond of both. It’s because they actually do their job. Since they do their job we want to make them president. Think about that and think about it hard. If only a handful of people did their jobs at your place of work it wouldn’t last long. (hint)

What the Russians really think

Dmitry Medvedev on nuclear weapons: “They may still come in handy”

Almost as if the strategic leaders and the media have no idea what’s happening on Russian soil, Dmitry Medvedev seems to be shouting it from the rooftops.  As we have learned in the past, when Russia makes promises, they lie; when Russia makes threats, they are telling the downright truth.  In just the past week, they have made one threat after another concerning their resistance to NATO’s missile shield, and things just got worse.

Exacerbating the tensions between NATO allies and Russia, Medvedev decides to flex Russian muscles on their nuclear capabilities.  Charles Clover and Geoff Dyer of FT.com report:

Then, taking the podium in a glittering Kremlin ballroom, Mr. Medvedev declared that Russia’s younger generation needed positive role models to inspire them towards “success in literature, art, education, and” – he paused wistfully – “nuclear weapons”.

Medvedev continues to talk about Russia’s itchy trigger finger and their nuclear arms capabilities.

“They may still come in handy,” he said, apropos, seemingly, of nothing. “We’re not going to use them, but let’s still keep them around, because we have a big country, a complex country. We must value it and protect it.”

This heightened rhetoric is suspected to be coming from what was discussed at the most recent NATO summit in Chicago.  The NATO European missile defense shield has been the subject of debate over the past few weeks, but it seems as if Russia is bringing the aggravation to a head.  They claim that the defensive measures of the shield would provoke war.  But, I thought that war was over?  Apparently, not.

In fact, the article goes on to state:

If that were to happen, said General Nikolai Makarov, chief of Russia’s general staff, it could lead to an “illusion of security”, which could lead to war. Countries allowing the missile defence shield on their soil, Gen Makarov said, risked a Russian nuclear first strike. “A decision on pre-emptive use of the attack weapons available will be made when the situation worsens,” he breezily told a news conference this month.”

Yes, the good general actually said the words, “nuclear first strike”.  This is extremely unnerving, especially given their recent activities, as reported earlier last week.  Steve Gutterman of Reuters reports:

The Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) was successfully launched from the Plesetsk facility in northwestern Russia and its dummy warhead landed on target on the Kamchatka peninsula on the Pacific coast, the Defense Ministry said.”

The new ICBM has capabilities, which suggest that the Russians had anticipated NATO’s construction of the shield.

The new missile is expected to improve Russia’s offensive arsenal, “including by increasing the capability to overcome missile defense systems that are being created”, the ministry said in a statement.

The General Makarov’s comments of a first strike are especially scary, concerning NORAD’s current level of preparedness.  The Clinton administration implemented PDD 60, which states that the US will absorb a first strike before retaliating.  In an interview with Robert Bell of the National Security Council, he stated that the US will no longer “launch on warning”.  He further says,

“Our policy is to confirm that we are under nuclear attack with actual detonations before retaliating,”

In short, if Russia does decide to launch a first strike in response to NATO’s deployment of the European missile shield, they shall certainly succeed (and their newly tested ICBM has proven it can get through).  This makes the US and NATO allies strategically sitting ducks.

Newtown Activists Again Lobby Congress On Guns

(NEWTOWN, Conn.) — Activists from the Connecticut town where 26 people were gunned down in a mass shooting at an elementary school in December headed to Washington on Tuesday to lobby again for gun control, a trip that took on new urgency in the wake of the massacre in the capital that killed 13, including the gunman.

The trip by about 50 members of the Newtown Action Alliance was planned to mark roughly nine months since the Dec. 14 rampage, in which 20 children and six educators were shot to death, and it now also quickly follows Monday’s killings at the Washington Navy Yard. The group will ask Congress to require background checks for gun buyers.

Members of the group focused their criticism on Congress, where an effort to enact new background checks fell short in the Senate in April.

“This is really what this is all about — our broken political system,” founder David Ackert told the Hearst Connecticut Media Group.

Carlos Soto, the brother of a teacher who was one of six educators killed in Newtown, criticized Congress for failing to impose tougher gun regulations since the shootings.

“It’s been nine months and there’s still no action on the federal level,” he told WFSB-TV. “We’re not gonna go away.”

New Jersey –-(Ammoland.com)- As a prospective military strike against the Syrian regime dominates the headlines, we are reminded by administration officials that any military action will not include boots on the ground and will not be focused on regime change.

In a turn of events mimicking an episode from the Twilight Zone, once-hawkish Republicans are advocating non-intervention and their peacenik colleagues across the aisle are actually supporting a military strike in the Middle East.

While Congress debates whether to physically attack the Assad Regime, many lawmakers are reevaluating whether to send military aid to the Syrian rebels. A limited military strike “also fits into a broader strategy that can bring about over time the kind of strengthening of the opposition,” Obama told congressional leaders at a White House Meeting on Sept. 3, 2013. This comes months after the House and Senate Select Committees on Intelligence voted to approve the President’s plan to arm the Syrian opposition.

Assad: US ‘should expect everything’ if it attacks Syria | JPost | Israel News.

Yes, yes we should.

Some believe he means “Russia”.  Others believe “asymmetrical attacks on America”.

I think we should expect anything, up to and including direct attacks in America by terror cells that are obviously here (they crossed a porous border), and perhaps the unknown like a nuclear bomb in a harbor someplace, a direct attack by Russians on our military in the region or naval vessels in the Med.

We don’t know with any surety that Assad used weapons on the Syrians, or whether the Muslim Brotherhood did it.  We don’t know who provided the weapons (we believe it was Saddam).  We don’t know why the President suddenly wants to do this thing without the approval of the American people and Congress.

There is no strategic plan, there is no politic plan to fuse the military action with fixing the problem and there is no real threat to America – at the moment.  If we attack them and Iran, Hezbollah, Russia and God-Knows-Who-Else jumps in and piles on – well, all bets are off.

On the Verge of World War III

The article at the bottom of my comments is a couple of days old, it’s from Debka – so it’s not the best source but is probably accurate. Basically we’re looking at the following states being involved in this as things heat up:

Syria, Iran, Hezbollah, Russia, China

Australia, Canada, France, Italy, Japan, Republic of Korea, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Turkey, the United Kingdom and the United States of America

France is “waiting” for more information from the UN.
UK is really “just waiting”.

Russia has moved about 8 ships total toward the Med. The US has moved a few subs, some destroyers into the Med and the Nimitz Carrier group to the Gulf.

Obama is preparing the country for an attack, “limited in scope and duration”, promising “no boots on the ground”. Anyone who has been in the military KNOWS this isn’t true, isn’t going to be true and can’t possibly work. Anyone with even a limited sense of tactics understands you don’t telegraph your moves to the “enemy”. Anyone with even a rudimentary grasp of strategy knows you don’t put all your eggs in one basket when planning any sort of an attack. And anyone with a clue about life understands you don’t go to war for no good reason and you certainly don’t do it if you can’t PROVE you have a good reason. Obama has not proved anything.

The Senate committee just delivered the Resolution to go into Syria to the full Senate. Congress, both houses will debate and vote likely next week on this.

We’re standing on the verge of World War III – without a “draft”, without American support, without support of the majority of Congress – and we’re less than a week away from September 11. Rumors are rampant on the Internet that there’s more than meets the eye here, and the country is “confused” according to our so-called “leader” Obama.

First he sets a “Red Line” then when the bad guys cross it a month ago, it takes time to verify this, and now he’s ready to go into a limited in scope and duration “war” against the Assad regime, to apparently punish the regime, but to give a leg up to verified enemies of America – Hezbollah, Muslim Brotherhood and other Muslim lunatics. Iran is saying how they will “bring it” to the US. Russia is backing Syria. Syria is claiming their own allies now. The Chinese are going to back the Russians. Obama has castrated our military in recent months through the shut down of units, bases, equipment, and firing of men smarter than himself.

The United States is being set up for failure big time by this man. Americans, whom for the most part are opposed to this “action” in Syria are caught in the middle of all of the forces massing on the horizon.

America is, from intelligence, full of leaderless Islamic cells – from Iranian Revolutionary Guard to Hezbollah, to Al Qaeda. Americans are being disarmed in some states including my own, in an attemp(?) to make us more vulnerable to outside forces.

It is time to stand up and be heard. It’s time to remove this asshat from the White House. It’s time for his Impeachment to begin. Get on the phone and start making the case with your members of Congress. We have to stop this guy from bringing the nukes down on our heads for his own ego.

Syria’s Muqdad threatens World War III for US strike

Syria’s deputy foreign minister Faisal Muqdad said Wednesday his regime would not give in to threats of a US-led military strike, even if a third world war erupts. In an interview with AFP, Faisal Muqdad said his government had taken “every measure” to counter a potential intervention aimed at punishing the regime of Bashar al-Assad over a suspected deadly poison gas strike, was mobilizing its allies and would take every measure “to retaliate against… aggression.”

DEBKAfile: This is the first time a regime official has intimated that Damascus has invoked the mutual defense pacts existing between Syria, Iran and Hizballah.

Is this entire Syrian issue with Chemical Weapons a cover up?

Seriously, Obama, almost a year ago stated what “the red line” was.

A year later – well in August it turns out that chemical weapons were used.  And they were used BEFORE that apparently and we did nothing.  Now we MUST do something?

What happened to the 27 or 30 scandals?  Oh, yeah, they aren’t in the news suddenly are they?

Benghazi is being ignored by the media. Deaths of Navy Seals, ignored.  The IRS scandal, ignored.  The NSA spying, ignored.  Project Gun walker and Fast and Furious, completely forgotten now… Obama has lied time and again to the American public.  Kerry has lied, over and over.  Hillary Clinton lied.  The IRS Director lied.  Eric Holder lied.

Or is this something worse, a method by which the asshole-in-chief manages to bring us to the brink of a nuclear war with Russia just so he and Putin can make nice-nice on the sidelines and “fix” the whole world, bring “peace in our time” or make himself appear to be larger than life?

What if this is all a giant hoax perpetrated by Obama and his puppet masters?

John Kerry was asked about Russia

In regards to this Syria crisis, one of the Senators on the Foreign Relations committee (I didn’t catch who) mentioned Russia, asking specific and pointed questions of Kerry, after pointing out that the Russians had been providing money, aid, military defense equipment.

Kerry sputtered about an answer, and then stepped around the answer to basically ignore the Russian question.

Essentially, they (Kerry) doesn’t want the American Public to be confused or concerned about the Russians. Only chemical weapons.

We’re doomed to go to war.

The Republican Senator, Tom Coburn said President Obama is moving “perilously close” to impeachment, Sen. Tom Coburn told a town hall crowd this week, two reports said Thursday.

However, he stated he is a “friend” to the President and further went on to say:

“That’s not something you take lightly, and you have to use a historical precedent of what that means,” he said. “I think there’s some intended violation of the law in this administration, but I also think there’s a ton of incompetence, of people who are making decisions.

“I believe [an impeachment charge] needs to be evaluated and determined, but thank goodness it doesn’t have to happen in the Senate until they’ve brought charges in the House,” Coburn said. “Those are serious things, but we’re in a serious time. I don’t have the legal background to know if that rises to high crimes and misdemeanor, but I think they’re getting perilously close.”

 

Really, Senator?  Thank “Goodness” you don’t have to “deal” with it?  Let someone ELSE “deal with it”?

Senator, you’re not a man, you’re a coward.  If you had the intestinal fortitude to follow through you’d be working with House members to arrange exactly what you’re talking about, IMPEACHMENT – and the eventual removal of this criminal from the Office of the President.

America has gone over the edge and you are sitting in the People’s building being HAPPY you don’t have to DO anything over Benghazi, over Ft. Hood Massacre (It was a bloody TERRORIST ATTACK).  We are going to let Obama NOT take the blame for NSA, the IRS, the DOJ (I’m not going to name all the scandals here, but suffice it to say they were ALL CRIMES!)

Get off your lazy ass and get going on removing this criminal from office before American burns.

Apparently the United Nations Office for Disarmament Affairs has released a new letter.

If anyone in America THINKS they are going to take our weapons, they have another THINK coming.  In the form of hot lead.  Do NOT let the Leftists in the United States kid you one little bit.  They want your complete and utter subjugation and will stop at nothing to get it.

We ARE at war over this.  The first shots were fired in Sandy Hook, lest anyone forget this.  There are plenty of reasons to believe that was a set up.  To date, no one has proved beyond a shadow of doubt that the shooter was Lanza.  No one.

I’m an American.  I was born in the USA.  Before me, my father, grandfather, great-grandfather, great-great-grandfather, great-great-great-grandfather and several generations prior were also born here.

One of them came over on a ship from Ireland, another from Scotland.  Men before me have fought for this country from the Indian Wars to the Revolutionary War to the most recent wars in the Middle East.  My sons are Americans and Patriots.

The lie that “We are all immigrants” has been told so often that it’s now being believed.  Yes, my distant forefather DID come to America as an immigrant. A LEGAL Immigrant, albeit, forced to come here to find freedom from Oppression of the British Empire.

Today – illegal immigrants stream across the border in an effort to abuse our freedoms, to steal our tax monies and to commit crimes (illegal immigration, IS A CRIME).  There is no checks and balances any more.  Congress and the President do not want them.

Congress and the President don’t want us to defend ourselves.

The President has allowed agencies to spy on us, the DOJ to lie to us, to kill our own men by giving away guns to criminals, to kill our own military men, Navy Seals, to allow criminals and terrorists to kill our Ambassador and American heroes without investigation.

The current administration has worked to destroy the America my father, I and my children grew up in.

It is time to put a stop to the abuses of the American system, abuses to the American Taxpayer.  It is TIME to FIRE the current government and replace it non-Marxists, non-Socialists and non-Progressives.

A war has been declared on Patriots in America.  We’re now being labeled as terrorists and troublemakers, being called names like “Teabagger” (look that up) and worse.

Fight back.  Resist “Hope and Change”.  Resist Socialism, and Progressivism or suffer the long term consequences to this Great Nation.

Already the time is nearly past, and this country is nearly done.

A coming Civil War

It occurred to me a few hours ago when I was writing something that this whole thing, this Zimmerman thing, the “race baiting”, the race card playing, the pressure from above to cause riots and dissension among the people of this country is planned; part and parcel of a larger “conspiracy” (for lack of a better word) to completely terminate what America was and once stood for.

I mean we all suspect it, but seriously, how many times has Obama said of himself that he was like Lincoln, or worse, his people have said it and he’s been quiet about the whole thing?

Here’s one instance:

 “Actually, Mr. Obama has evoked deliberately comparisons with Lincoln ever since he announced his candidacy for president on Feb. 10, 2007, at the Old State Capitol building in Springfield, Ill,” Boyer wrote. “He chose the site because it was the same place where Lincoln gave a famous speech condemning slavery and called for the Northern and Southern states to unite.”

Now…. what BETTER way to put himself in a “good light” with “his people” (I’m talking about the American people now, not his black friends) than to sound and act like Lincoln IF ONLY he had a National Crisis similar to that which once faced Lincoln himself; the breakup of America.  States seceding from the Union would do it.  Better yet a complete and total breakdown of Society to include a Civil War!

After all, could he not then be compared to Mandela AND Lincoln if only he could get a race war started.   What if the word “apartheid” started making the rounds in the media as well?  Could not Obama himself be seen as “Great” as Lincoln himself, and Nelson Mandela if ONLY he could re-unite the country after a bloody civil war, or better a race war.  Why not kill two birds with one stone, so to speak?

So what if “Hispanic” is an ethic title,  George IS white.  And poor little 12-year-old-in-pictures Trayvon was an innocent little boy eating his candy and drinking his tea minding his own business.

Never MIND all the people drinking the Kool-Aid.

Communists instigating racial Divide

If you THINK for one second this is all about “Justice for Trayvon” you are one of the most naive on the planet…. this isn’t about justice for some kid who was in the wrong place, wrong time and threw the first punch.  This is “Progressive Tyranny” if I ever saw it, and I’ve seen it.  Ladies and Gentlemen, of ALL races… Black, White, Hispanic… America belongs to Americans.

The Stakes of the Trayvon Martin Case… and the Need to SEIZE THE TIME!

Trayvon Martin was a 17-year-old African-American, walking home at 7:30 pm with a can of ice tea and a bag of candy. George Zimmerman had never talked to Trayvon Martin, never met Trayvon Martin, knew nothing about Trayvon Martin, never even heard of him. But nevertheless this society—this system—had trained George Zimmerman to “know” and to say that Trayvon Martin was “suspicious” and more—that Trayvon Martin was a “fucking punk…a fucking asshole” who “always gets away with it.”

George Zimmerman had no training, no judgment, no sense of the gravity of human life, nor any shred of respect or feeling for the lives of people like Trayvon Martin. Yet George Zimmerman carried a pistol with hollow-point “man-killer” bullets as he prowled in his car, with the blessings of this system. George Zimmerman stalked Trayvon Martin, with that pistol in his jacket, and George Zimmerman then confronted Trayvon Martin, feeling the whole strength of this system behind him. And then George Zimmerman decided to kill Trayvon Martin.

This was one more horrible, heartbreaking outrage at the end of a 400-year chain of such outrages. That is the heart of the matter.

Right now, American society—with the whole world increasingly taking notice—is polarizing. Two sides are lining up—one upholding the right of the Trayvon Martins of this world to live and flourish and, if they are attacked, to have justice… and the other upholding the supposed rights of people like George Zimmerman to kill people like Trayvon with impunity. This should be clear, but every day the powers-that-be work to cloud this, so we must all insist on this basic truth.

And every day the breadth and ferocity of this polarization grow and intensify. Last week the reactionaries vented their hatred and fury on Trayvon’s friend Rachel Jeantel in a vicious, gutter-level attack by a “virtual” mob. Rachel Jeantel is a key witness in the trial, the person Trayvon was talking to on the phone when George Zimmerman confronted him. Once again, these bullies had been trained to act and react by a system, to spew their ignorant venom full of the confidence of someone who feels they have power on their side. This kind of shit must be fought all along the way, and this growing polarization must be repolarized into deeper and broader energy, clarity, and direction for justice for Trayvon Martin… and for revolution and emancipation altogether.

You who read this paper must now step up. You have a chance to change history and you cannot step aside from that. Here is some of what you can do:

• Get what revcom.us has to say into social media… inject its leadership into the intensifying societal debate… get to us with ideas on how to do it and take initiative yourself…
• Take out materials on this trial—our newspaper, or materials from the Stop Mass Incarceration Network, or other positive things—and get them into people’s hands, even if it is just you and a friend at first… grow these into impromptu speak-outs and demonstrations when you do…
• Spread the “We Say NO MORE” statement and get people to sign it… change the polarization and give strength and expression to the side of justice…
• Answer the call of the Stop Mass Incarceration Network (SMIN) (check online at stopmassincarceration.net and revcom.us) to build public vigils when the jury goes out, so that there is a powerful collective response to the verdict… and join with that network, supporting and participating in it…
• Donate funds to revcom.us so that we can create MAXIMUM social impact…

And most of all, this: the most essential and important fact about the world today is that the Trayvon Martins in it DO NOT HAVE TO DIE. The most essential fact is that a society is possible in which the Trayvon Martins and Rachel Jeantels and the millions and billions like them, here and around the world, can not only survive, but can flourish and fully contribute all they have to offer to the world. Such a society is possible through revolution—a revolution based on the theory developed by Bob Avakian and won with the leadership provided by the Party he leads, the Revolutionary Communist Party. In the midst of this massive social upheaval, BA must truly be everywhere—the film of his speech BA Speaks: REVOLUTION—NOTHING LESS! sold and shown all over… the revolutionary handbook of his talks and writings, BAsics, out everywhere… his image out and around in every struggle, sparking people’s curiosity and thinking and letting them know the revolution is here, there IS a way out.

The thoroughly irresponsible rate of government spending projected over the next twenty-five years will drive federal debt to unsustainable levels. The country is heading for a financial meltdown and economic ruin.

The Republican Party is inept and impotent and cannot provide the necessary political opposition to the crimes and unconstitutional policies of the Obama regime or stand against the rampant voter fraud which is now polluting the electoral process. There is a report claiming that the Republican Party signed a legal agreement with the Democrat Party in 1982 not to pursue suspected vote fraud. If there is no guarantee of election integrity, then elections become only window dressing for tyranny.

Barack Obama is an illegal President and unindicted felon. Congress, the American media and the courts are engaged in a criminal conspiracy to conceal their complicity in perpetrating the Obama fraud on the American people. Law enforcement and our elected officials have chosen to risk the survival of the country rather than risk the truth.

According to recent reports, Obama continues to use a Social Security Number (SSN) not issued to him, in the process, committing numerous counts of social security fraud. The SSN Obama uses, issued in Connecticut, a state where he never lived, does not pass a check with E-Verify, the electronic system the U.S. Citizenship and Immigrations Services of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security has created to verify whether or not prospective employees have the required authorization to work legally in the United States. It appears that the SSN Obama uses, was actually issued to a Harrison J. Bounel, born in 1890. Once issued, a SSN is never reissued to another individual. Why isn’t any of that evidence investigated? It is because Barack Obama is protected by a dishonest media and criminally complicit federal officials and, unlike ordinary Americans, he is above the law.

Counter Revolution

I’m sure many of you realize, understand and even “grok” that today in America we’re undergoing “change”.  Change that many of us don’t want.  In fact the Left has embarked on a journey to “fundamentally change” America.  A fundamental change is defined basically as; of or relating to essential structure, function, or facts : radical <fundamental change>; also : of or dealing with general principles rather than practical application <fundamental science>.

America is undergoing this “change” at her very roots.  Most Americans hearing Obama use those words for the first time sincerely had not a clue what he meant.  Many of us did and understood he intended to completely change America’s very basic precepts, fundamental to our heritage in this country, the belief that this country is something better than those that have gone before, that we, as Americans are somehow “not worthy” and religion, freedoms and liberty are Government Granted commodities.

Somehow the notion that Americans are all “equal” has taken a perverted change from what this means.  “Equal” doesn’t mean equal in the sense that “What I have is yours to take”, it means “We each work our asses off to get somewhere in life.  We spend our time learning, competing and gaining ground economically, educationally and we DO IT ON OUR OWN.”

We are in the midst of a Revolution.  The Revolutionaries are the Leftists, Communists, Socialists, Marxists and un-American “leaders” (and I use the word leader here, loosely).

The rest of us, you and I, who stand more to the Right and more conservative than those on the Left, those who believe in America as it was founded, the Patriotic who still salute the flag, say the Pledge of Alligence and believe we are and should remain the strongest country in the world, are considered to be an anachronism, a throw back to civil war times.  The Left sees us as carrying the Rebel Flag and fighting for slavery.

The truth is, my friends, each and every hand gun and rifle owner in America, whether they want to believe this or not, are believers in the Constitution…. that paper which is immutable, may not be thrown out or suspended without a fight, we are the Counter-Revolutionaries.

We are the people from whom the real change will come.

If we all stand up and do something about what is happening.

Otherwise, we simply stand and watch ourselves become history….

America on the Abyss

On July 4th, tomorrow, America celebrates it’s Independence from Britain but we stand on the verge of destruction of this very country we all love.  From within.  From our own, overbearing, overreaching government.

There is not a Patriotic American within the sound of my voice, or with in reach of my writing who will not agree that this country is the Greatest Country that has ever existed, and almost every, single one of them, myself included would or have been willing to stand up to keep this country great.  Every one of us will fight to protect our country if it were invaded.  Every one of us has an opinion about how it should be run.  Almost none of us stand together on one, simple act – defiance of what is happening to us right now in this country.  Some shrug their shoulders and move on, some ignore the problem completely, some of us loudly, vocally proclaim the wrongs done but can’t fix it alone.

Unfortunately for Americans we are in the midst of what I called “The Throes of Progressive Tyranny”.  A few years ago I created a forum on our TAA web site to track the progress of Progressiveness and the Progressive Tyranny that is haunting this country, from the most basic precepts of “Political Correctness” to Nationalization of the Health Care system and everything in between.

On 20 January 2009, Barack Hussein Obama was innagurated as the 44th President, running on a platform of “Hope and Change”, talking about “Fundemental Change” in America.  Most of us saw this man then for what we now know he is.

On 14 December 2012, Adam Lanza is believed to have walked into a school (without any assistance) to shoot and kill twenty small children, babies really, and six adults.  Before that he killed his mother in cold blood while she was sleeping, took guys, put on military style armor and went to the school.  Immediately there were calls to ban guns.   Most of us saw this coming the moment we were learning children had died.

Obamacare, the so-called “Affordable Health Care Act” was “passed before we get to see what’s in it”…. Congress created, then opened Pandora’s Box.  (For the uneducated, who don’t know the story of Pandora, I’ll leave it to you to look it up….).  Everyone in the United States, no matter how naive they pretend to be grasped the ramifications of Nationalization of the Medical Care in America.

Then the media started breaking scandal after scandal.  Everything from “Project Gun Walker” to the NSA leaker Snowden letting the world know Americans were being spied upon by their own government.  The Justice Department investigating journalists as “terrorists”, spying on them, and entire news organizations, to lying through their teeth to cover their asses.

There is so much more that has gone against our very way of life, to coin a phrase, truth, justice and the American Way.  So much for Superman, huh?

Americans are just DAMNED sick and tired of being lied to.  They are damned tired of the Government getting into their business.  One could certainly compare 1775 and events leading up the American Revolutionary War with today.  In fact, one COULD sit and start writing down all of the abuses by this government against the people, starting with the very idea the government seems to have forgotten their place; that is that they work for us, we don’t belong to them.  Most of us are simply too lazy though to do ANYTHING about it.

Indeed this country stands on an abyss.  Tomorrow we celebrate, but who knows what happens next Monday?  I don’t.  Perhaps nothing will change, just status quo.  Sheep getting up and going to work, working their lives away to pay our debt to our great grandchildren.

Obama and his administration have certainly accomplished their “fundamental change” haven’t they?  Americas are about to be shepherded by the IRS to ensure they pay for their own health care.  We’ve had states ban our guns.  We’ve had police forces become military-strong.  We’ve been told where to go, when to go, how to go and by the way, don’t use Gas, Oil, Coal or any of that nasty carbon-producing-stuff that kills things.  Oh and if you don’t mind, just die you human because you eat, and excrete and make it bad for “Mother Gaia”.

The Abyss is… step up and stop the crimes against this country, or stand down and be a sheep.  Sheep eventually are sheared, and many are just led to slaughter.

Is America in a Pre-Revolutionary State this July 4th?

As we approach July 4, 2013, is America in a pre-revolutionary state? Are we headed for a Tahrir Square of our own with the attendant mammoth social turmoil, possibly even violence.

 Could it happen here?

We are two-thirds of the way into the most incompetent presidency in our history. People everywhere are fed up. Even many of the so-called liberals who propelled Barack Obama into office have stopped defending him in the face of an unprecedented number of scandals coming at us one after the other like hideous monsters in some non-stop computer game.

And now looming is the monster of monsters, ObamaCare, the healthcare reform almost no one wanted and fewer understood.

It will be administered by the Internal Revenue Service, an organization that has been revealed to be a kind of post-modern American Gestapo, asking not just to examine our accounting books but the books we read. What could be more totalitarian than that?

Meanwhile, the Wall Street Journal warns the costs of ObamaCare are close to tripling what were promised, and the number of doctors in our country is rapidly diminishing. No more “My son, the doctor!” It doesn’t pay.

And young people most of all will not be able to afford escalating health insurance costs and will end up paying the fine to the IRS, simultaneously bankrupting the health system and enhancing the brutal power of the IRS — all this while unemployment numbers remain near historical highs.

Obama’s Gun Report Backfires–Guns Save Lives

Obama wanted a report on gun violence, and he got one, just not the one he may have been wanting.

A recent study supervised by the CDC and carried out by the Institute of Medicine and National Research Council found that individuals involved in violent crimes who defended themselves with a gun were far less likely to be injured than those who were not carrying a firearm.

The report ended up finding more benefits in regards to open or concealed firearm carrying than negative side effects.  It is estimated that guns are used in defense up to 3 million times per year.  Compare that with the number of violent crimes involving firearms in 2008–300,000.

The study cites that since 1983, there have been approximately 547 victims and 476 injuries of mass shootings.  While a problem, mass shootings are not an epidemic as gun control advocates would have you believe.  To put those numbers into perspective, thousands of people are killed each year by bats and human hands as Anthony Gucciardi has detailed in ‘A Brief and Bloody History of Gun Control.’

The US will not try to intercept NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden’s flight, President Barack Obama said during his tour to Africa.

Obama announced that US will not be using military jets to go after Snowden, rejecting reports that America might force down a plane carrying the NSA leaker.

The president specified that the US will not engage in “wheeling, dealing and trading” to extradite Edward Snowden, adding that extradition will be carried out through legal channels.

“We’ve got a whole lot of business that we do with China and Russia, and I’m not going to have one case of a suspect who we’re trying to extradite suddenly being elevated to the point where I’ve got to start doing wheeling and dealing and trading on a whole host of other issues,” Obama said.

Obama said he has not spoken to Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping or Russia’s President Vladimir Putin about whistleblower Edward Snowden’s extradition, adding that he “shouldn’t have to,” Reuters reported.

To my Patriot Friends

Your blogs are monitored.  Your phone records are being gone through.  Data from your computer goes through an ISP and is vacuumed up by “No Such Agency”, collected, collated, stored and kept on ice for at least five years hence.  Anything you write, every site you visit, every blog you read or post you make is subjected to reading – even if it isn’t really “read” by a person it is there “just in case”.

The Fourth Amendment states clearly what your rights are.

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

To be clear, your “papers” in the form of “data” or “metadata” have been searched, seized, violated and kept.  No warrants were issued.  No “Oath of Affirmation” by those whom consider you “suspect” was given.  No Judge consulted.  Your home was invaded.  You phone “tapped” – perhaps not in the conventional sense where a human listens in, but your phone calls were logged, collected and linked to those numbers you called, and those who called you.

Trust is sometimes a difficult thing to grasp, and nearly impossible to retrieve once lost.  The NSA, an arm of the US Intelligence community is there for a reason; their job is collect data on our adversaries, not on our own people.  This Agency is being abused by the US Government, plain and simple.  The Justice Department is corrupt.  The Internal Revenue System is corrupt.  Congress is remiss.  The President is culpable in breaking all the laws of our Constitution.

Do YOU trust your information to the US Government?  Do you trust your health to the IRS?  Do you trust your Freedom to this President?  Do you trust your life in the hands of the Justice Department?

Pens, paper, hand-carried messages, whispered conversations, coded communications.

Survivalists out here in the real world KNOW that counting on technology is probably a cool thing to do, but not always is it practical.  When the power goes out (and it will) you can’t count on your electric motors, vehicles, phones, radios and such.  You can’t always depend on technological marvels no matter how small.  Remember this; pen and paper can’t be data mined unless it it taken into custody.  Whispered conversations to those near you are rarely listened in on.  Turning off your cell phone is not a promise of security, but removing the battery is.  Posting something on a computer is kept for years; perhaps forever for all we know.Survivalists do understand this world, they do things in a simpler way for a reason.

Perhaps we should all consider “simple is safer”….

 

A Safer, Freer America

Do you feel “safe” today?

Do you believe that the government is protecting you by vacuuming up every piece of data on you they can?

Do you honestly believe that stopping a terrorist attack requires we give up all our privacy?

Or

Are you an American, like most of us, who’ve never broken a law unless perhaps it was a traffic ticket, you have no intention of robbing a bank, blowing up a bomb in a crowded marathon, mall or airport, and you’ve never contemplated walking into your world place or movie theater with the “infamous” Bushmaster AR15 with body armor, gas mask and shoot up the place and random people?

When it comes right down to it, the laws of this country simply DO NOT trump the Constitution.  Period.  End of statement.

And yet our Congress, the last few Presidents (Obama, Bush, Clinton) have demonstrated they don’t really care about that old piece of paper.  Of course the Leftists in this country will tell you that it’s a “Living Document”, subject to change.

The 4th Amendment is clear as crystal:

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

We are the people.  We have the right to be secure in our persons (and carrying a cellphone on our person), and houses (and our computers in our houses) and papers (and the data which isn’t written down but exists as fleeting bits and bytes in a data stream, hard drive, thumb drive, cloud or zipping along fibers) and unreasonable search and seizure (meaning we have committed no crime, thus it is UNREASONABLE to probe our data, search it, collect it aka seize it).

No warrants have been issues.  And according to the fourth amendment they SHALL NOT issues but upon probable cause.

If you’re not a criminal or suspected to be a criminal you should not be subjected to any of the above without a warrant.

Let me say this again…. IF you are NOT a criminal or SUSPECTED to be a criminal you should not be subjected to any of the above without a warrant.

Americans, essentially ALL of us, have 1) been subjected to the above CRIMES by the Government, 2) without a swore Warrant, 3) Our data searched (examined), seized (collected) and stored without our permission so that JUST IN CASE, you know in the future perhaps-maybe that data can be gone through again later and in more detail, just in case, you know, you think you might want to do something.

The collection of metadata means “Data about data”, that’s the way we network security people, system administrators and security engineers view it.  It means that pointers to other data are collected.  Those pointers of course are phone numbers you are using, calling and times you’re online talking to that other number.  It means a list of links you visit, your geolocation information, your likes and dislikes all associated with you.

A good detective doesn’t need to know WHAT you said on the telephone if he knows to whom you spoke for thirty minutes this morning on the way to work.  A great detective can make inferences with great accuracy about your conversation.  In a court of law this is called “Circumstantial evidence”.

A government agency like the National Security Agency (NSA) has tools and young computer gurus (not unlike myself many years ago) who can examine data, put a few pieces together and determine a lot about a person.

They didn’t stop Sandy Hook, they didn’t stop 9-11, they didn’t stop Boston, they didn’t stop numerous other small terrorists attacks in this country (which they won’t even CALL terrorism).  They’ve stopped only what they wanted to stop.  (Never let a crisis go to waste you know!)

If every person in the United States isn’t upset about this you might fit the first three questions originally asked and might be comfortable with the government literally spying on everything you do online, on the phone or even clicking on the buttons of your microwave.  You might think you’re safe from terrorists.  You might believe that you’re safe and the government is “protecting” you.

What if this is all benign and no one has any intention of using the data collected against you today or tomorrow.  But what about after the next election?  What about next Thursday?  What IF some “government official” somewhere with access to this stuff decides to start using this data to root out enemies of the State?

Once, when I was still a child we all knew that our society existed to raise children to be considerate of others, to know that each thing we did to improve ourselves in turn, improved society.  Today Society seems to exist only to further the goals of a collective hive mind, to think alike, to act alike, to dress alike, to live in a Socialist Utopia.  That indeed seems to be the ultimate goal of not only “Society” as a whole (with a few individual exceptions, usually those reading these blogs) but to force all of us to act alike (including us “individuals”).

Targeting and auditing”Tea Party” and “Conservative” groups into oblivion, if that isn’t tyranny I don’t know what is.  Trying to limit, take and ban our guns, that’s tyranny.  Spying on us, that’s tyranny.  Going after journalists (against the 1st amendment), that’s tyranny.  Lying to us time and again about Benghazi, about everything they can lie about, that, my friends is tyranny.  Forcing religion on us (Islam), that’s TYRANNY.  Forcing Political Correctness on us, that’s tyranny.  Attacking us for having our say, that’s tyranny.  Passing state laws in the face of a majority of people who don’t want the law, that is absolute tyranny.  Telling Americans “its for your own good” – that’s tyranny.

At what cost do we continue this charade?

I’ll tell you the cost.  The cost is  ultimately our Freedoms and the fall of the United States as a Great Republic.

If we continue on the path which wends through Society today and into the future, in less than One Hundred Years the one great America will be nothing more than a memory for our great-great Grand Children.  In less than another decade we will have lost and we will be erased from the face of the world.  Our

We must stop this drive to defeat America from within.

If you want a Safer, Freer America then it is time to wake up, get off your asses and accept personal responsibilty for yourselves, your families and your GOVERNMENT.  We must insist, demand that the current elected Representatives stop the madness and get back to the bottom line of running this country.  That doesn’t mean making NEW laws, it means throwing out the old, bad laws, enforcing the correct laws and stopping snooping on our own people.  It means SHUTTING the border TONIGHT.  We don’t need “immigration reform”, we need “Government Reform”.

There is nothing wrong with immigration laws as they are, they simply need to be enforced.  We need to secure the border.  We need to let people take the normal path to citizenship.  We have no issue with immigration, we have a problem WITH ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION.

We can’t let the government continue to grow in size, power and money sucking abilities.

We can’t allow the IRS to continue to abuse us.

We must NOT allow the IRS to become our overlords on medical care.  Government death boards are an absolute (see the young lady with the lung transplant problem).

We can’t allow the Department of Justice to continue to abuse us.  By letting them get away with “Fast and Furious” we’ve allowed the death of a young agent to go without justice.  The murderer might have been caught, but why haven’t those who passed those guns out ILLEGALLY I might add been brought to justice?  Arrest them, all the up to Eric Holder if necessary.

We can no longer allow our Department of State to let ambassadors just “die” in foreign service.  Where were the Marines and why was the military stood down?

If you want a Safer, Freer America then you, yes YOU, need to stand up and do something about it.  Run for office, pester the holy hell out of Congressmen and women.  Call the President.  Make your voice heard.  Organize protests (yes, PROTESTS).  Become visible.  Don’t hide in the shadows any longer.

We are AMERICANS. We do not give up.  We do not tolerate losing.  We do not tolerate losers.  Kick those losers out of office and put yourselves IN.

The time has come.

Don’t let up until we win.

NSA snoops, IRS dupes, Holder Loops and Obama Poops

After thirty seven years of working in, around and for the government I’ve decided that this is NOT what I signed up for.

 

We have Eric Holder lying to the public and Congress.

We have the National Security Agency spying on not just bad guys, but all of our emails, pictures, calls, or whatever other data you put out there.  That’s great perhaps they will read THIS message.

We have the IRS preventing, in a most political manner, Conservative groups from getting their tax exempt status to PREVENT them from fighting the powers that be.

We have Obama.  Need I say more?

 

Americans, it is time to STOP this intrusion into our privacy, it’s time to stop Obama from becoming a third world dictator, it’s time to stop the IRS and the Justice Department from over reaching, over arching and from being the “police arm” of the United States Government.

Now I know that there is one and only one job our government is SUPPOSED to be doing, and that is protecting this country from outside enemies and they AREN’T EVEN DOING THAT right.  The military has been cut drastically (which China, Russia have grown, Iran is producing nuclear weapons, DPRK is producing nukes and the Muslim world is coddled).  Our injured and wounded are treated like crap when they come back from “Fighting for Freedom”.  That’s another joke.

They aren’t fighting for OUR freedoms any more, they are fighting (without their knowledge) for the Freedom of Big Government to continue it’s oppression of the people of the United States of the America.  WE THE PEOPLE.

We are the people who OWN this country.  The Government doesn’t “own” anything.

Get ON the phone with your Congress people and tell them to STOP THIS CRAP NOW or the American people will stop it.

This is NOT a police state, we do not live in 1960s Soviet Union – this is the United States of America.

To all you so-called Liberals out there;  don’t sit on your asses any longer and whine about “Republicans” and “Tea Party”.  We’re all the same.  This is NOT a “Progressive” country (and Progressive is a Code Word for Communist) so get off your asses and get into this and STOP IT.

You Liberals seems to think your precious Freedom of Speech is protected while my Right to keep and bear arms is not.  We’ve said over and over without the Second, you don’t get to keep the First.  Are you starting to GRASP this yet?  If you’re not, shut up, don’t vote, and don’t talk; go sit in your living room and watch television so you can be further brain washed.

If We the People ALLOW this to go any further you can kiss your precious Bill of Rights good bye completely.

Now, in case you really just don’t get this, let me explain something.

Pulling phone and data records (by the NSA) for basically EVERYONE in America is wrong on many, many levels.  In the USA you are INNOCENT until proved Guilt.

Thus if they THINK you are guilty, great they can look at your stuff to prove your guilt.

They CAN NOT under any circumstances look at everyone’s records and dig through them until they FIND something that MIGHT be a pointer to guild.  This is the Thought Police on a scale you can’t imagine.

 

Essentially what is happening here with the Justice Department (with the phone records) and the NSA (with all the other stuff) is that they are digging through every record looking for ANYTHING that might be “bad” (What ever their idea of “bad” is – and keep this part in mind).  When they find something “bad” they connect some links, look at other records and make a “tree” of who is connected to whom, where they live, who they are, how much they make, what they look at on the Internet, who they call, what they buy and where they go for vacation.

There are those who would say “I’m not doing anything wrong, why should *I* care?” – and in truth in a perfect world with a perfect government and perfect people this would be right.  But it’s blatantly obvious to anyone who hasn’t been living in a cave in the lower Himalayas that OUR government is less than perfect.

If on the other hand you’re like me, and millions of others and like “guns” and are a “conservative” and believe in smaller government, certain principles and just want to be left alone we become “targets” for an oppressive government looking at everything we do; and while what we do isn’t wrong, it could be considered “bad” by this particular Administration and obviously HAS been considered so.  Look at all the groups shut down by the IRS because they were doing nothing more than what the Liberal groups were doing…. but were CONSERVATIVE, or TEA PARTY, or for LIBERTY, or SMALLER GOVERNMENT.

If 100% of the people out there are completely outraged over all of this, then the small percentage NOT outraged must be part of the problem.

It’s time for them to go.  It’s time for Congressmen and women, President, Justice Department officials, IRS officials and anyone else who seems to think they “Control America” to get OUT of Office and be put in prison.

I’m calling for the arrest of all of those people.  There are still a few good men and women in Congress and in the Government.  They need to stand up, be heard and shut down the corruption and oppression in America.

This is NOT Russia.  This is NOT China.  Big Government is BAD, VERY VERY BAD.  This has to stop.

Exclusive: Congressional Source Contradicts ICE Account, Says Lawmakers in Possession of File on Saudi National That Called for Visa Revocation

Documents have been presented to Congress confirming that plans were made to revoke the visa of Abdul Rahman Ali Alharbi, a Saudi national once considered a “person of interest” in the Boston bombings, a congressional source told TheBlaze on Thursday.

Other sources, including one at the FBI, previously informed TheBlaze that there have been discussions about deporting Alharbi on “security and related grounds.” He has been living in the Boston area and in the U.S. on a student visa. An FBI source said the agency is against deporting Alharbi because of his status as a material witness.

The congressional source told TheBlaze it was unclear as to why representatives from Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) would be unaware of this information. Earlier on Thursday, an official with ICE said it was “categorically false” that Alharbi had ever been considered for deportation.

The congressional source, however, said the information sent to Congress showed that a file was created on “Abdul Rahman Ali Al Harby” at 4 p.m. on Tuesday by an official with the National Targeting Center, a counterterrorism sub-agency of U.S. Customs and Border Protection and the Department of Homeland Security. The file stated that the individual is “linked to the Boston bombing” and was to be processed for revocation of his visa based on national security grounds, the congressional source revealed.

This is really getting deep… maybe, JUST MAYBE, we can finally catch those involved all the way up the chain.

America under Seige

Folks, I posted yesterday a question “Are we under attack?”

Today, I state unequivocally that America is under siege by a foreign group.

We have all been focused on the Boston terrorist attack, so has the news media and many, many things have occurred in the past two days.

So let’s sum up events in the last couple days:

• Boston Marathon bombing
• Ricin letters in DC
• Emergency service fiber optic cables cut and an electrical substation shot up in San Jose
• Explosion at a fertilizer plant in Texas (likely just an accident though)
• Several college Campus lockdowns
• Suspicious package at 16th St Bridge in Milwakee
• Clinton Chemical plant fire in Oklahoma

There have been others, that’s a quick listing and all of those occurred in the last couple of days.

Last evening the gun bills were put to bed in Congress and Obama came out screaming about how shameful it was for Congress to have actually DONE the job we sent them there to do.  Things didn’t go his way and he was livid.  I for one am GLAD to see the Constitution upheld as it should be.  But the President is a huge crybaby.  He has lost the respect of every American in this country over his admonition.  We aren’t his children, subjects, servants or slaves.

His anger is ironic over “gun control” when around us we have had people murdered in the Boston bombing.  He wasn’t as angry over that, as the loss of a Congressional vote.

About the year 2000 some of us were predicting the use of airplanes in terrorist attacks, and we were ignored; until it happened.

Later we warned about “small terrorist attacks in large numbers” such as attacks on electrical grids, attacks in malls with guns, attacks on public schools and bombings in crowded areas.

Those things are HAPPENING NOW.

Pay attention.  Be alert.  Don’t put yourselves into a position of not being aware of your surroundings.  If you carry a weapon, it’s time to carry it all the time however uncomfortable – remember “concealed means concealed”.  Don’t make yourself a target.  Make sure your family is briefed and you have a meet up plan, a “recall plan” to get in touch with each other (some kind of a phone roster each family member carries, do NOT rely on your digital cell phones, keep hard copy notes).

Unless, and until we can assure ourselves that we are actually not under attack – then we must assume we are.  We don’t yet know for sure who the perpetrators are but most of us can guess.  And with the hatred coming from the White House about “Guns”  it’s time to watch your backs.  I won’t come right out and say that the WH is in on this yet… but I’m not ever going to rule it out now.  Too much anger over the Constitution and none at all about these “seemingly unrelated incidents”.

Be safe.

Be aware.

Resist any further erosion of our rights.

I was in my neighborhood restaurant this morning and was seated behind a group of jubilant individuals celebrating the coming implementation of the health care bill. I could not finish my breakfast. This is what ensued: They were a diverse group of several races and both sexes. I heard a young man exclaim, “Isn’t Obama like Jesus Christ? I mean, after all, he is healing the sick.”

A young woman enthusiastically proclaimed, “Yeah, and he does it for free. I cannot believe anyone would think that a free market wouldn’t work for health care.”

Another said, “The stupid Republicans want us all to starve to death so they can inherit all of the power.

Obama should be made a Saint for what he did for those of us less fortunate.”

At this, I had more than enough. I arose from my seat, mustering all the restraint I could find, and approached their table. “Please excuse me; may I impose upon you for one moment?”

They smiled and welcomed me to the conversation. I stood at the end of their table, smiled as best I could and began an experiment.

“I would like to give one of you my house. It will cost you no money and I will pay all of the expenses and taxes for as long as you live there. Anyone interested?”

They looked at each other in astonishment. “Why would you do something like that?” asked a young man, “There isn’t anything for free in this world.” They began to laugh at me, as they did not realize this man had just made my point.

“I am serious, I will give you my house for free, no money whatsoever. Anyone interested?”

In unison, a resounding “Yeah” fills the room.

“Since there are too many of you, I will have to make a choice as to who receives this money-free bargain.”

I noticed an elderly couple was paying attention to the spectacle unfolding before their eyes, the old man shaking his head in apparent disgust.

“I tell you what; I will give it to the one of you most willing to obey my rules.”

Again, they looked at one another, an expression of bewilderment on their faces.

The perky young woman asked, “What are the rules?”

I smiled and said, “I don’t know. I have not yet defined them. However, it is a free home that I offer you.”

They giggled amongst themselves, the youngest of which said, “What an old coot. He must be crazy to give away his home. Go take your meds, old man.”

I smiled and leaned into the table a bit further. “I am serious, this is a legitimate offer.”

They gaped at me for a moment.

“I’ll take it you old fool. Where are the keys?” boasted the youngest among them.

“Then I presume you accept ALL of my terms then?” I asked.

The elderly couple seemed amused and entertained as they watched from the privacy of their table. “Oh yeah! Where do I sign up?”

I took a napkin and wrote, “I give this man my home, without the burden of financial obligation, so long as he accepts and abides by the terms that I shall set forth upon consummation of this transaction.”

I signed it and handed it to the young man who eagerly scratched out his signature.

“Where are the keys to my new house?” he asked in a mocking tone of voice.

All eyes were upon us as I stepped back from the table, pulling the keys from pocket and dangling them before the excited new homeowner.

“Now that we have entered into this binding contract, witnessed by all of your friends, I have decided upon the conditions you are obligated to adhere to from this point forward. You may only live in the house for one hour a day. You will not use anything inside of the home. You will obey me without question or resistance. I expect complete loyalty and admiration for this gift I bestow upon you. You will accept my commands and wishes with enthusiasm, no matter the nature. Your morals and principles shall be as mine. You will vote as I do, think as I do and do it with blind faith. These are my terms. Here are your keys.” I reached the keys forward and the young man looked at me dumbfounded.

“Are you out of your mind? Who would ever agree to those ridiculous terms?” the young man appeared irritated.

“You did when you signed this contract before reading it, understanding it and with the full knowledge that I would provide my conditions only after you committed to the agreement.”

The elderly man chuckled as his wife tried to restrain him. I was looking at a now silenced and bewildered group of people.

“You can shove that stupid deal up your a** old man. I want no part of it!” exclaimed the now infuriated young man.

‘You have committed to the contract, as witnessed by all of your friends. You cannot get out of the deal unless I agree to it. I do not intend to let you free now that I have you ensnared. I am the power you agreed to. I am the one you blindly and without thought chose to enslave yourself to. In short, I am your Master.”

At this, the table of celebrating individuals became a unified group against the unfairness of the deal.

After a few moments of unrepeatable comments and slurs, I revealed my true intent.

“What I did to you is what this administration and congress did to you with the health care legislation. I easily suckered you in and then revealed the real cost of the bargain. Your folly was in the belief that you can have something you did not earn, and for that which you did not earn, you willingly allowed someone else to think for you. Your failure to research, study and inform yourself permitted reason to escape you. You have entered into a trap from which you cannot flee. Your only chance of freedom is if your new Master gives it to you. A freedom that is given can also be taken away. Therefore, it is not freedom at all.”

With that, I tore up the napkin and placed it before the astonished young man. “This is the nature of your new health care legislation.”

I turned away to leave these few in thought and contemplation — and was surprised by applause.

The elderly gentleman, who was clearly entertained, shook my hand enthusiastically and said, “Thank you, Sir. These kids don’t understand Liberty .”

He refused to allow me to pay my bill as he said, “You earned this one. It is an honor to pick up the tab.”

I shook his hand in thanks, leaving the restaurant somewhat humbled and sensing a glimmer of hope for my beloved country.

Summary: Remember… Four boxes keep us free: the soap box, the ballot box, the jury box, and the cartridge box.

In the past few months several of them have been arrested for making bombs (here and here) and yet the first thing the Communist supporting Left Wing Progressive Lame Stream Media does is BLAME someone on the Right, calling them “Right Wing Extremists” and claiming it’s because it was “Patriot’s Day”.

What a load of BULLSHIT.

I think anyone who is in the media that put that theory forward, especially since their favorite President Hussein Obama the illegal alien, Muslim, Marxist commie asshole asked people “not to jump to conclusions”.

I believe this was OWS, and their radical Anarchists buddies, Marxist creeps and was funded by the US Government.

Democrat backs off universal health care plan

About time they got it… first the guns, then go after health care.

DENVER (AP) – An ambitious plan to make Colorado the first state with universal health care has been spiked by its Democratic sponsor.

Sen. Irene Aguilar of Denver backed off her sweeping bill to have Colorado abandon Medicaid and Medicare entirely and move forward with single-payer health care. The change would have required a big series of new taxes, and Aguilar conceded Friday that she didn’t have enough support to get it done.

Gold Crash?

It appears that gold has taken a tumble since Friday. As of about an hour ago, gold prices have fallen by more than $90 USD.

Apparently there’s a bit of a panic

Now, I don’t collect, buy, sell or save gold.  I put my money in the mattress (and a few low interest bearing accounts).  I’m not trying to make massive amounts of money, I ain’t “rich” and don’t give a shit how the market goes usually.  But I have a lot of friends who have started buying gold – against MY better advice (remember, buy LOW, sell HIGH) and gold has been steadily increasing in cost for the past few years (which is great for those who got in on the ground floor).

For those who just started in the last few months or couple of years… well, sorry, you’re about to see a “correction” methinks.

Personally, my “precious metals” are brass, copper and lead, and investments in minerals like sulfur, charcoal and potassium nitrates…. I’d urge you all to invest in those things and stop worrying so much about gold, silver and the stock market.
