Why are Americans so united? They would not resemble one another even if you painted them all one color! They speak all the languages of the world and form an astonishing mixture of civilizations and religious beliefs.

On 9/ll, the American tragedy turned three hundred million people into a hand put on the heart. Nobody rushed to accuse the White House, the Army, or the Secret Service that they are only a bunch of losers. Nobody rushed to empty their bank accounts. Nobody rushed out onto the streets nearby to gape about.

Instead the Americans volunteered to donate blood and to give a helping hand.

After the first moments of panic, they raised their flag over the smoking ruins, putting on T-shirts, caps and ties in the colors of the national flag. They placed flags on buildings and cars as if in every place and on every car a government official or the president was passing. On every occasion, they started singing: ‘God Bless America !’

I watched the live broadcast and rerun after rerun for hours listening to the story of the guy who went down one hundred floors with a woman in a wheelchair without knowing who she was, or of the Californian hockey player, who gave his life fighting with the terrorists and prevented the plane from hitting a target that could have killed other hundreds or thousands of people.

How on earth were they able to respond united as one human being? Imperceptibly, with every word and musical note, the memory of some turned into a modern myth of tragic heroes. And with every phone call, millions and millions of dollars were put into collection aimed at rewarding not a man or a family, but a spirit, which no money can buy. What on earth unites the Americans in such a way? Their land? Their history? Their economic Power? Money? I tried for hours to find an answer, humming songs and murmuring phrases with the risk of sounding commonplace, I thought things over, I reached but only one conclusion… Only freedom can work such miracles.

A Doomsday Plane Reminder: Nuclear Weapons Haven’t Gone Away

Here’s a news item you may have missed over the holidays. The “doomsday planes” are being upgraded. Four E-4B flying command posts that would be used by U.S. leaders to manage military operations in a nuclear war will receive communications upgrades to enhance their “connectivity” during a conflict that could spell the end of civilization as we know it.

The reason you may have missed the story is that almost nobody besides InsideDefense.com reported it. National media were too busy covering more weighty matters like the efforts of North Korean agents to suppress a Sony film farce that insults the Dear Leader, and the attack on a French satirical magazine by a motley crew of extremists. How could nuclear Armageddon compete with that?

In fairness, the proposed upgrades to the “national airborne operations center” are just part of a routine reprogramming request that the Pentagon has submitted to Congress. But how often does any facet of the nation’s nuclear complex see the light of day in national media? Other than cheating scandals and an occasional misplaced weapon, the media have ceased paying attention to the most likely way in which America might one day disappear forever.

America’s military hasn’t. One of the four doomsday planes is kept on continuous alert and manned at all times. The planes are designed to stay airborne as long as a week with aerial refueling. All of the on-board equipment is hardened against nuclear effects, including the cockpit windows which are covered with mesh similar to that on your microwave oven. If called into service because of a nuclear crisis, the heavily modified Boeing 747s could each carry a crew of over a hundred specialists for managing the conflict, with communications transmitted through satellite uplinks and a wire antenna trailing five miles behind the plane. If the president and defense secretary have been killed, there are plans in place for devolving command to the most senior official still available.

U.S. military planners take this threat so seriously that when the president goes overseas, one of the doomsday planes always follows. It needs to be nearby at all times, as does the military aide within a few yards of the president carrying nuclear launch codes and communications gear. Similar provisions have been made in Russia, which maintains most of its intercontinental ballistic missiles on a high state of alert for fear of losing them in an American first strike.

The Russians are improving the survivability of their long-range missiles by deploying more of them on mobile launchers that can’t be targeted as easily as fixed silos. But you probably haven’t heard about that either, so let me tell you a bit about them. Most of the missiles will likely be equipped with four warheads that can be independently targeted. We don’t know what the explosive force of each warhead is, however a typical yield for the Russian strategic force is around 500 kilotons — equivalent to half a million tons of conventional high explosives.

There’s nothing conventional about nuclear weapons, though. When a conventional munition is exploded, it heats the immediate vicinity by a few thousand degrees. The heat of a nuclear blast at its center is more akin to tens of millions of degrees. So if one of those 500-kiloton warheads is exploded a mile above Boston or Dallas, everything within a one-mile radius is destroyed, heavy damage extends to three miles, and fires will be widespread out to five miles. Not that it will matter to most of the people near ground zero — they will be killed immediately by blast effects or a wind-spread firestorm that expands faster than they can escape (initial wind speed: 700 miles per hour). People further away will linger longer before succumbing to the effects of prompt and delayed radiation. Electronic devices will be shut down for a hundred miles in every direction due to the electromagnetic pulse generated by the blast.

And that’s just the effects from one nuclear warhead. Russia has over 2,000 nuclear warheads capable of reaching America, a fact that will not change materially if pending arms-control agreements are implemented. That’s actually a big improvement from where things stood at the end of the Cold War, when Russia had over 40,000 strategic and tactical nuclear weapons in its arsenal; the number has shrunk by 90% today if you don’t count the weapons awaiting disassembly.

However, there things are likely to sit for the foreseeable future, because as you undoubtedly have heard, Washington and Moscow aren’t getting along these days. In fact, the relationship is going so poorly that many in the Russian capital fear an attack from the West, which is one reason why strategic rocket forces are kept on a high state of alert. The likelihood of new arms agreements in such circumstances is not high. Besides, U.S. arms-control strategy is grounded in a series of assumptions about how to stabilize the strategic balance that requires giving Russia an “assured destruction” capability against America, so arms agreements aren’t going to eliminate the specter of nuclear war. U.S. military experts figure that if the arsenals on each side fall much below a thousand “deliverable” warheads, cheating would be encouraged by the prospect of achieving military advantage in a future nuclear exchange.

Thus the main protection Americans have against Russian nuclear aggression today is Moscow’s awareness that the U.S. force could ride out a surprise attack and then retaliate by laying waste to the Motherland. That strategy appears likely to work well as long as Russian leaders are rational and don’t make miscalculations in a crisis. If they are crazy, or prone to mistakes, or lose control of their arsenal during a period of instability — well, then all bets are off. You see, a corollary assumption of the way the U.S. currently practices nuclear deterrence is that America’s own homeland can’t be well-defended. That might make Russians worry about the credibility of their deterrent, leading to a destabilizing arms race.

So here we are, apparently doomed to live with the possibility of nuclear war indefinitely. Just ten of the warheads in the Russian arsenal, optimally targeted, could collapse the U.S. electric grid. Fifty would be sufficient to render uninhabitable every U.S. city with a population of over half a million souls. Two hundred would effectively wipe out the U.S. economy, destroying all major transportation, communications, medical and financial networks. There is no guarantee that the nation could ever recover from such a catastrophe (maybe China could pick up the pieces).

Why doesn’t this story get more attention, since it’s the only manmade threat that really could wipe out our civilization? One possible reason is that people think nuclear war is very improbable – a failure of imagination, as Thomas Friedman put it after the 9-11 attacks. Another reason, perhaps, is that they’ve simply gotten used to the danger, and prefer not to think about the unthinkable. But a third possibility, which would be worth testing, is that a majority of Americans believe they are defended against nuclear attack, even though in the common-sense definition of that term they are not.

Somehow, Americans have arrived at a time in their history when they spend hundreds of billions of dollars shoring up the security of countries on the other side of the world, but have almost no protection against the one danger that could obliterate everything they cherish. This isn’t just a catastrophe waiting to happen, it is a political cause waiting to be embraced.

Islam’s War has come to us

Yesterday a former Oklahoma state prison inmate, converted to Islam walked into a produce business and killed a woman by beheading her. The war of Islam has come to America now.

I am going to say something here.  I want it clear.  I abhor violence.  All of it.  But I have had to be violent to those who’ve been violent to me and my country.  And I will do it again if necessary

I will personally NOT sit still for these fucking cave creatures coming here and/or converting here to attack us in our home.  I will take up arms and fight back.  I’ll back our police and military forces ALL THE WAY in stopping these guys.  But the military and police, Justice Department etc, better get their ACT TOGETHER and root these bastards out because if they don’t and more incidents like Moore Oklahoma happen, there will be NOTHING the police and other “authorities” will be able to do to stop the millions of pissed off civilians here in the United States from taking the law into their own hands.

I don’t condone such things – but this is a clear warning to the cops.  Get off your asses and find these guys.  Call the shit in Moore for what it was, TERRORISM, NOT “workplace violence”.

If this shit happens at MY job, you can bet your ass I won’t sit still and cower waiting on cops to come “save me” or my co-workers and the people here.

IF you are attacked or your co-workers are attacked, BE PREPARED.

This is coming to your work place, the mall, our schools, businesses and the streets of America.  There is nothing we as individuals can do to STOP it but there is something we can do if it happens.

I urge ALL of you within the “sound of my typing” to awaken to the threat.  It’s aimed at you personally.  You’re an American and it matters NOT if you’re white, black, male, female, liberal or conservative, democrat or republican, libertarian, stone-cold teetotaler or pot head.  If you’re an American, living in America, if you’re an illegal alien, you’re a TARGET.

Even MUSLIMS are targets if they aren’t fanatical, nut cases.

Either way, anyone in the West from the USA over to anywhere in Europe…. .you’re a target.  Be prepared to fight.

ISIS: Coming to a City Near You

Today is 16 days away from September 11th, 2014.  Exactly thirteen years after September 11th, 2001.  Americans are superstitious to a great degree.  So are the fascist Islamic terrorists who are also into “numerology”, threats and of course the destruction of the West.

In June, for example, Spanish officials arrested eight men attempting to recruit militants to fight for ISIS and then return to Spain.

Last fall, Britain’s MI-5 domestic security service stopped a plot to conduct an attack in London on the scale of the one conducted in Mumbai, India, in November 2008.

In that attack, some 164 people were killed by 10 Pakistanis from the Sunni Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist group, which is an instrument of the Sunni Pakistani government.

The developments pose a serious problem for the U.S., since many European countries have visa waivers with the U.S., allowing their nationals to fly to the U.S. with a minimum of background checks. The problem is compounded since security officials in Europe and the U.S. are unable to identify most of the jihadists who hold valid passports.

There would be no record of their having fought for ISIS, since they can travel through Turkey to link up with the jihadists in Syria.

The intelligence sources tell WND that officials in Europe and the U.S. are unprepared for what could be large-scale attacks in the U.S. and Europe.

They add that ISIS recruiting of European and American Muslims suggests a long-term plan in the making.

Friends.  This is no plea for you to “prepare”.  This is not a “scaremongering tactic” so loved by people on both sides of the political spectrum.  This is not a suggestion to do violence to anyone.  It’s not even a request to “be alert”.

It is a plain, simple warning.  The time has come.  America HAS been invaded, our own Leftist Government has allowed it to happen.  You will soon be fighting for your very lives and life and memory of this country and all of those who’ve gone before us for the past 239 years since the battles of Lexington and Concord.  Think not about those who’ve died before.  Think not about yourselves.

Think instead of the stature that America once held in this world.

Think instead of the beautiful children of America, the grand children, YOUR children, the innocents among us who brought NONE of this on themselves.

Think instead of the man in the White House who vacillates, whines, blames others for his problems and ignores the threat of Global Islam storming the keep.

Think instead of what your children will lose, including their heads to these vile, ignorant, backwoods, backwards 3rd Century-thinking, anti-social, West-hating fascists.

And then take the necessary action required to keep America…. America.

Vets WILL fight ISIS if they come to America

All of us will.  As I stated this morning, don’t come here.  Don’t bring your crap to America.  We will hunt you down.  The military won’t have to do it.  The rest of us will.

 

‘A Subtle Message to ISIS’ From a Ticked Off Military Veteran Should Send a Chill Down the Spine of Every Terrorist

A military veteran has penned a brutally scathing message to the Islamic State militants in the Middle East who are slaughtering innocent men, women, and children.

The powerful response from Nick Powers, identified as a Marine Corps veteran by one website, comes after terrorists beheaded American photojournalist James Foley and posted the propaganda video online for the world to see.

The main, undeniable point of his message to ISIS terrorists is this: You really don’t want to pick a fight with America’s veterans.

“As I sit here constantly hearing and watching you execute innocent men, women and children in the Middle East I chuckle. Why do I chuckle you may ask? Well let me explain something to you cowardice fools who think you are so tough behind all your propaganda videos. You are scaring a population that doesn’t know how to fight, you’re bullying the weak.

You say Islam is the religion of peace, but since when does terrorizing the innocent and beheading men, women and children constitute peace? WTF? But keep in mind, what did Saddam’s troops do when we came rolling into town? They surrendered, twice… So all your empty threats of coming to America and raising your flag over the White House amuse me more than any of you sick, sadistic bastards could ever imagine or comprehend.

In 2012 there was about 21.2 million veterans in the United States. Do you understand what that means? Let me break it down for you. That means there are literally millions of disgruntled, dysfunctional, pissed off veterans who have been dealing with years of abuse from their government stabbing them in the backs and having to watch their friends die because you Islamic extremist idiots can’t seem to act like normal human beings and stop terrorism and the violence.

Open Letter to John Boehner About Impeachment

Dear Congressman Boehner;

The Constitution specifically states:

The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.

Article II, Section 4

It seems to this American Patriot that there comes a time in every nation’s existence, according to history, that the oppressed rise up and throw out the government system under which they have been oppressed.  So has it been since the beginning of time, and the creation of “government”.

Don’t get me wrong here, I have the highest regard for the American System of Government, a Constitutional Republic which until the reign of the current monarch of America, one Barack Obama that things were working quite well.  We elected men and women to represent us, to do the job we sent them to Washington to accomplish.  If they didn’t accomplish that job, well, the people back home found someone to do the job better.

America is calling for action.  Many well known people have called for the Impeachment of Obama.  A lot more Americans, those of us that vote, and fund the pathetic excuse for a “Federal Government” as it exists today have also called for his removal.  Immediately.

While you some how think this is a “power struggle” for the GOP – the rest of us do not see it that way.  I’ve been a member of the Republican Party since Jimmy Carter screwed up with the Iranian Rescue attempt.  (Yes, I was there on the ground in Egypt when men died because of  Democrat who vacillated and couldn’t make up his mind).  From that day forward, when Reagan stepped into the forefront of politics I have remained with the GOP.

Until you opened your mouth and said “I disagree” on Impeachment.

Obama and his administration have lied to America and the people, and to Congress.

The IRS has been used by him against us, not unlike in Nixon’s time.

The NSA has been used against us, against their own rules and mission statement.

The Veterans Administration is in shambles.

The border has YET to be closed off, and we’re being, quite literally, invaded on our southern border.

Congress refuses to act, while Obama continues to act out.

And you, Sir, are a coward and do nothing at all in any way to stop this man from completing whatever plan he has to convert America into some kind of a Marxist wet dream.

The actual destruction of this country is at hand – not like Rome fell in “centuries”, but in decades, or even a few years.

I’m no conspiracy theorist.  I’m a scholar of history, in particular American history.  But anyone with even a tiny “smidgen” of sense (to coin a phrase) can see – if they have bothered to read, oh, say the history of France leading up to the French Revolution (before the word “Marxism” became a word) they could see the steps America is taking in the same guillotine-loaded cart ruts that France took in the 1770s.  Of course the French were inspired by the American Revolution – they just went about it in a very, and most unique European manner by beheading their rivals.

If I might, I’ll point out in the context of history, the causes which led to the French Revolution, and which, in my humble opinion will lead to America’s second Revolution.

 

• Resentment of royal absolutism.
• Resentment of the seigneurial system by peasants, wage-earners, and, to a lesser extent, the bourgeoisie

• The rise of enlightenment ideals.
• An unmanageable national debt, both caused by and exacerbating the burden of a grossly inequitable system of taxation.
• Food scarcity in the months immediately before the revolution.
• Resentment at noble privilege and dominance in public life by the ambitious professional classes.

 

 

I’ll lay those out individually in modern terms for you:

1) Obama has decided to somehow become the embodiment of a “Neo-King” or Emperor in this country.  People RESENT THIS. (Resentment of royal absolutism.)

2) The Seigneurial system – forced to pay a lord to stay on the land, might I point out Harry Reid, the Bureau of Land Management and the “Range War” that recently occurred? (Resentment of the seigneurial system by peasants, wage-earners, and, to a lesser extent, the bourgeoisie)

3) The “rise of Enlightenment ideas” – in recent years the Left have felt it beneficial to FORCE their own views on many of us – and if all else fails, call us “racist” or some other barbaric term.

4) This one, I don’t even have to explain, allow me to repeat it for you: An unmanageable national debt, both caused by and exacerbating the burden of a grossly inequitable system of taxation.

5) The price of food is going through the roof, or, don’t you pay attention to that?  (Food scarcity in the months immediately before the revolution.)

6) This would include Lawyers, Doctors, Politicians, not so much CEOs of companies (Resentment at noble privilege and dominance in public life by the ambitious professional classes.)

The American Public is not as stupid as Congress, the Supreme Court and the White House would have everyone believe.  We’re not a bunch of sheep to be lead to a sheering, or beef to the slaughter.

Things are about to happen, Mr. Boehner, that once they start will be impossible to quell.  The people of this country, on BOTH sides of the political spectrum have reached a breaking point and for some reason, Congress and the President are taking no notice, dismissing them and their ideas, or outright ignoring the impending consequences.

Either buckle down, Congressman and do your JOB as assigned by the citizenry of this country, or you will suffer the consequences.  Your position as Speaker has been questioned already several times by your own colleagues.  Your ability to lead this country is now being questioned by all of us in this country.  Are you also helping Mr. Obama in his “last term, with more flexibility”?

Mr. Boehner, one phrase comes to mind.

“Man up, and do your job.”

Or get OUT of the People’s House.

Enough is enough of the years of abuse from this president. His unsecured border crisis is the last straw that makes the battered wife say, “no mas.”

Without borders, there is no nation. Obama knows this. Opening our borders to a flood of illegal immigrants is deliberate. This is his fundamental transformation of America. It’s the only promise he has kept. Discrediting the price paid for America’s exceptionalism over our history, he’s given false hope and taxpayer’s change to millions of foreign nationals who want to sneak into our country illegally. Because of Obama’s purposeful dereliction of duty an untold number of illegal immigrants will kick off their shoes and come on in, competing against Americans for our jobs and limited public services. There is no end in sight as our president prioritizes parties over doing the job he was hired by voters to do. Securing our borders is obviously fundamental here; it goes without saying that it is his job.

The federal government is trillions of dollars in debt, many cities are on the verge of insolvency, our overrun healthcare system, police forces, social services, schools, and our unsustainably generous welfare-state programs are stretched to the max. We average Americans know that. So why has this issue been allowed to be turned upside down with our “leader” creating such unsafe conditions while at the same time obstructing any economic recovery by creating more dependents than he allows producers? His friendly wealthy bipartisan elite, who want cheap foreign labor and can afford for themselves the best “border security” money can buy in their own exclusive communities, do not care that Obama tapped us out.

Have faith that average American workers – native-born and wonderful legal immigrants of all races, backgrounds, and political parties – do care because we’re the ones getting screwed as we’re forced to follow all our government’s rules while others are not required to do so. Many now feel like strangers in their own land. It’s the American worker who is forced to deal with Obama’s latest crisis with our hard-earned tax dollars while middle class wages decrease, sustainable jobs get more scarce, and communities become unrecognizable and bankrupted due to Obama’s flood of illegal immigration.

Who’s looking out for the American worker? Who has their backs? Who fights for them?

We should.

President Obama’s rewarding of lawlessness, including his own, is the foundational problem here. It’s not going to get better, and in fact irreparable harm can be done in this lame-duck term as he continues to make up his own laws as he goes along, and, mark my words, will next meddle in the U.S. Court System with appointments that will forever change the basic interpretation of our Constitution’s role in protecting our rights.

It’s time to impeach; and on behalf of American workers and legal immigrants of all backgrounds, we should vehemently oppose any politician on the left or right who would hesitate in voting for articles of impeachment.

The many impeachable offenses of Barack Obama can no longer be ignored. If after all this he’s not impeachable, then no one is.

Attention Obama Supporters, Leftists, Liberals, Marxists and Communists

This is America.  You have a right to your opinion, certainly.  But so do I.

The Reality Check Blog by American Patriot isn’t for you.  Don’t come here complaining.  Don’t come here trying to make me see your point of view.

No more will we give voice to your “concerns” – because we simply no longer care to be shoved around as if we were second class citizens, and we won’t BE made to cow tow to a government that has over-reached, over-arched, become tyrannical, created a paramilitary police force to rival or surpass that of Adolph Hitler.

We are not racists.  We are not war-mongers.  We are not hateful.  We are quiet, normally law-abiding citizens of this country.  WE are the BOSSES of those in Government, and when we say STOP, we mean stop.

This is fair and final warning to all who try to oppress America, to try to destroy it’s economy, to force American citizens into a state of fear and of conformity with a Marxist regime, to spy on us, lock us up, send drones upon our heads, attack us with illegal and immoral laws that we will NO LONGER HIDE.  We will no longer back down.

America is on the verge of something none of you could hope to walk away from unscathed and you have brought it upon yourselves.

America IS a great Country and will continue to be – until such time as you force a Civil War – which will come.

None of us wants it; but by God and all that is Right, if you continue to force it upon us, we will finish it.

Make no mistake, we don’t want war, we won’t start it, we don’t want to have to do the things that will be required – but when you force the hands of the military against us, the police against us when no laws have been broken and no one is being violent, the time will come when there are no more cheeks to turn.

There is only one way to stop Hillary Clinton

If current political trends continue, there are two inescapable outcomes: Hillary Clinton will be elected President in 2016 and, by the end of her eight years in office, the United States will no longer exist.

The Democrat electoral juggernaut cannot be stopped for two reasons.

First, the Democrats seem to have perfected the art of voter fraud and it may now be considered an integral component of their national campaign strategy. The results of the 2012 election suggest that massive voter fraud is not required. Selective alteration of the count in specific precincts of large swing states such as Ohio, Pennsylvania and Florida would be enough. That might help explain why Democrats, especially Hillary Clinton are vehemently opposed to voter ID requirements.

In parallel, the mainstream media will censor or manipulate the news in order to promote Hillary’s political ambitions, even at the expense of their own journalistic integrity and the well-being of the country.

Additional factors that will contribute to a permanent Democrat majority and a one-party state are the amnesty and the voting rights that will soon be given to 11 million or more illegal aliens.

The extent of corruption in the federal government and our political system is no longer compatible with liberty. Unless there is a significant reversal soon, it is only a matter of time that a catastrophe will be upon us, which will inexorably lead to national collapse and fragmentation.

The Republican Party can no longer be considered a political vehicle capable of providing effective opposition to the far-left policies of the Democrat Party and the propaganda of the establishment media. It too has become a party of big government, which is unresponsive and unaccountable to its constituency.

As a recent example of the tyrannical approach and abuse of power practiced by the political elite, the Republicans have joined with the Democrats to force Obamacare on the American people while at the same time exempting themselves.

Will a Military Coup fix America?

I personally just don’t see a military coup in the United States as an option.  But is my view of the world the same as others’ beliefs?  Probably not.  When it comes right down to it, with my vast amount of time as a military man, from my point of view, I can’t say that absolutely, definitely a coup could or would take place.  The truth is, in MY time, no such thing could have or would have happened.  But other factors are in play here that I would never have considered myself – but others might.

The Spanish have a long and storied history for coups – in fact, Mexicans and most Previously-ruled-by-Spain Central and South American countries follow suit.  When the people get mad, they start a war.  Someone winds up on top in the end, usually the existing military and a strong leader (regardless of his moral and ethically leanings).  Most south and central American countries are what we consider “banana republics”.

Is America becoming a Banana Republic?

Let us look:

A Banana republic is a pejorative term for a country with a kleptocratic government, often with a primitive economy and sometimes a puppet state of a major power.

The more proper definition being: Banana republic is a political science term for a politically unstable country whose economy is largely dependent on the export of a single limited-resource product, such as bananas. It typically has stratified social classes, including a large, impoverished working class and a ruling plutocracy that comprises the elites of business, politics, and the military. This politico-economic oligarchy controls the primary-sector productions and thereby exploits the country’s economy. (Wikipedia)

kleptocracy: Kleptocracy, alternatively cleptocracy or kleptarchy, (from Greek: κλέπτης – kleptēs, “thief” and κράτος – kratos, “power, rule”, hence “rule by thieves”) is a form of political and government corruption where the government exists to increase the personal wealth and political power of its officials and the ruling class at the expense of the wider population, often without pretense of honest service. This type of government corruption is often achieved by the embezzlement of state funds.

plutocracy: Rule by the wealthy. We’re technically not being ruled by the wealthy, but then again we are. Rich lawyers are elected thus rich lawyers are in charge of most of the government’s various sectors. Companies lobby for power in the government (and I have no trouble with open markets).

So this author’s guess is that  ARE a Banana Republic, or more accurately rapidly degenerating into a Banana Republic. We still have a Constitutional Republic and most of us KNOW this and MOST of us wouldn’t do anything against “the government” in the military. Whether some rogue officer would start something, I just don’t know – but I just can’t SEE it happening.

On the other hand…

1) Morals are in decline.
2) America is in decline.
3) Money is becoming worthless.
4) The economy is tanking.
5) Things are not worth what they once were.
6) People are in “gimme gimme” mode.
7) The President himself is working to divide people of this country.
8) The Left is fighting the Right on guns and every other thing you can imagine.
9) Detroit is the first major city to have fallen.
10) Other cities won’t be far behind.
11) Obamacare will destroy what’s left of the economy.
12) Oil and Coal are verboten.
13) Scandal after scandal has rocked DC and those are being called “phony”.
14) More people are on government help than are working now.
15) Political corruption
16) Government corruption
17) borders are uncontrolled, the “barbarian hordes” are coming through daily, by the thousands
18) the government coffers are being sucked dry by “entitlements” and the government keeps wanting more from the working people, the “rich” and corporations.

Rome fell for the many of the same reasons; moral decline, political corruption, “barbarian knowledge of Roman tactics” (think about that for a moment), a failing economy, unemployment of the working “class”, decline in ethics and values, natural disasters, barbarian invasion (Hmmmm…. border security?), military decay (not being trained right, and reduction in forces), and many other reasons.

So could a military coup take America back?  I can not answer that question but I can certainly suggest that this country is in a condition which will facilitate such a thing happening.  But will some military officer be able to gain enough power to lead enough American men, who are independent thinkers, into such a one way path?  I seriously doubt it will happen.  I don’t doubt the fall of America is upon us.

Counter Revolution

I’m sure many of you realize, understand and even “grok” that today in America we’re undergoing “change”.  Change that many of us don’t want.  In fact the Left has embarked on a journey to “fundamentally change” America.  A fundamental change is defined basically as; of or relating to essential structure, function, or facts : radical <fundamental change>; also : of or dealing with general principles rather than practical application <fundamental science>.

America is undergoing this “change” at her very roots.  Most Americans hearing Obama use those words for the first time sincerely had not a clue what he meant.  Many of us did and understood he intended to completely change America’s very basic precepts, fundamental to our heritage in this country, the belief that this country is something better than those that have gone before, that we, as Americans are somehow “not worthy” and religion, freedoms and liberty are Government Granted commodities.

Somehow the notion that Americans are all “equal” has taken a perverted change from what this means.  “Equal” doesn’t mean equal in the sense that “What I have is yours to take”, it means “We each work our asses off to get somewhere in life.  We spend our time learning, competing and gaining ground economically, educationally and we DO IT ON OUR OWN.”

We are in the midst of a Revolution.  The Revolutionaries are the Leftists, Communists, Socialists, Marxists and un-American “leaders” (and I use the word leader here, loosely).

The rest of us, you and I, who stand more to the Right and more conservative than those on the Left, those who believe in America as it was founded, the Patriotic who still salute the flag, say the Pledge of Alligence and believe we are and should remain the strongest country in the world, are considered to be an anachronism, a throw back to civil war times.  The Left sees us as carrying the Rebel Flag and fighting for slavery.

The truth is, my friends, each and every hand gun and rifle owner in America, whether they want to believe this or not, are believers in the Constitution…. that paper which is immutable, may not be thrown out or suspended without a fight, we are the Counter-Revolutionaries.

We are the people from whom the real change will come.

If we all stand up and do something about what is happening.

Otherwise, we simply stand and watch ourselves become history….

America on the Abyss

On July 4th, tomorrow, America celebrates it’s Independence from Britain but we stand on the verge of destruction of this very country we all love.  From within.  From our own, overbearing, overreaching government.

There is not a Patriotic American within the sound of my voice, or with in reach of my writing who will not agree that this country is the Greatest Country that has ever existed, and almost every, single one of them, myself included would or have been willing to stand up to keep this country great.  Every one of us will fight to protect our country if it were invaded.  Every one of us has an opinion about how it should be run.  Almost none of us stand together on one, simple act – defiance of what is happening to us right now in this country.  Some shrug their shoulders and move on, some ignore the problem completely, some of us loudly, vocally proclaim the wrongs done but can’t fix it alone.

Unfortunately for Americans we are in the midst of what I called “The Throes of Progressive Tyranny”.  A few years ago I created a forum on our TAA web site to track the progress of Progressiveness and the Progressive Tyranny that is haunting this country, from the most basic precepts of “Political Correctness” to Nationalization of the Health Care system and everything in between.

On 20 January 2009, Barack Hussein Obama was innagurated as the 44th President, running on a platform of “Hope and Change”, talking about “Fundemental Change” in America.  Most of us saw this man then for what we now know he is.

On 14 December 2012, Adam Lanza is believed to have walked into a school (without any assistance) to shoot and kill twenty small children, babies really, and six adults.  Before that he killed his mother in cold blood while she was sleeping, took guys, put on military style armor and went to the school.  Immediately there were calls to ban guns.   Most of us saw this coming the moment we were learning children had died.

Obamacare, the so-called “Affordable Health Care Act” was “passed before we get to see what’s in it”…. Congress created, then opened Pandora’s Box.  (For the uneducated, who don’t know the story of Pandora, I’ll leave it to you to look it up….).  Everyone in the United States, no matter how naive they pretend to be grasped the ramifications of Nationalization of the Medical Care in America.

Then the media started breaking scandal after scandal.  Everything from “Project Gun Walker” to the NSA leaker Snowden letting the world know Americans were being spied upon by their own government.  The Justice Department investigating journalists as “terrorists”, spying on them, and entire news organizations, to lying through their teeth to cover their asses.

There is so much more that has gone against our very way of life, to coin a phrase, truth, justice and the American Way.  So much for Superman, huh?

Americans are just DAMNED sick and tired of being lied to.  They are damned tired of the Government getting into their business.  One could certainly compare 1775 and events leading up the American Revolutionary War with today.  In fact, one COULD sit and start writing down all of the abuses by this government against the people, starting with the very idea the government seems to have forgotten their place; that is that they work for us, we don’t belong to them.  Most of us are simply too lazy though to do ANYTHING about it.

Indeed this country stands on an abyss.  Tomorrow we celebrate, but who knows what happens next Monday?  I don’t.  Perhaps nothing will change, just status quo.  Sheep getting up and going to work, working their lives away to pay our debt to our great grandchildren.

Obama and his administration have certainly accomplished their “fundamental change” haven’t they?  Americas are about to be shepherded by the IRS to ensure they pay for their own health care.  We’ve had states ban our guns.  We’ve had police forces become military-strong.  We’ve been told where to go, when to go, how to go and by the way, don’t use Gas, Oil, Coal or any of that nasty carbon-producing-stuff that kills things.  Oh and if you don’t mind, just die you human because you eat, and excrete and make it bad for “Mother Gaia”.

The Abyss is… step up and stop the crimes against this country, or stand down and be a sheep.  Sheep eventually are sheared, and many are just led to slaughter.

Is America in a Pre-Revolutionary State this July 4th?

As we approach July 4, 2013, is America in a pre-revolutionary state? Are we headed for a Tahrir Square of our own with the attendant mammoth social turmoil, possibly even violence.

 Could it happen here?

We are two-thirds of the way into the most incompetent presidency in our history. People everywhere are fed up. Even many of the so-called liberals who propelled Barack Obama into office have stopped defending him in the face of an unprecedented number of scandals coming at us one after the other like hideous monsters in some non-stop computer game.

And now looming is the monster of monsters, ObamaCare, the healthcare reform almost no one wanted and fewer understood.

It will be administered by the Internal Revenue Service, an organization that has been revealed to be a kind of post-modern American Gestapo, asking not just to examine our accounting books but the books we read. What could be more totalitarian than that?

Meanwhile, the Wall Street Journal warns the costs of ObamaCare are close to tripling what were promised, and the number of doctors in our country is rapidly diminishing. No more “My son, the doctor!” It doesn’t pay.

And young people most of all will not be able to afford escalating health insurance costs and will end up paying the fine to the IRS, simultaneously bankrupting the health system and enhancing the brutal power of the IRS — all this while unemployment numbers remain near historical highs.
