Right of the People

In 1776 a war broke out between the Colonists and the British monarchy over the subjects’ rights to defend themselves.

On the one hand, it was required that local militias be formed of all men to protect the towns and villages.  On the other hand, the Colonists had begun to take issue with the way they were taxed, among other things.  King George III had decided that the Colonists needed a lesson.

A local Governor in Virginia, Lord Dunmore ordered the removal of the gunpowder from the magazine in Williamsburg, Virginia to a Royal Navy ship.  The incident came to known as “The Gunpowder incident” and happened the day after the Concord and Lexington battles.

This action sparked local unrest, and militia companies began mustering throughout the colony. Patrick Henry led a small militia force toward Williamsburg to force return of the gunpowder to the colony’s control. The matter was resolved without conflict when a payment of £330 was made to Henry. Dunmore, fearing for his personal safety, later retreated to a naval vessel, ending royal control of the colony.

On 20 January 2020, the rally brought tens of thousands of armed men and women to the forefront of history.  There was no bloodshed, no fighting, but there was an underlying indictment of the men and women in office in Virginia, from Governor Ralph Northam, to each and every Legislator in the state congress.  Current estimates say no less than 22,000 people showed up.  But, those estimates take into account only the area surrounding the actual Capitol building and not the other people in the streets leading up to the capitol.

Throughout the day, helicopters hovered, and drones were forbidden, so exact numbers are unknown at this time.

Youtubers videoed much of the activities, and interviewed people through out the morning.

Americans from all over the country came to show that the Second Amendment shall not be infringed.

Reading through the comments in Twitter, Facebook, the Main Stream Media, there are those who state they will continue to go through with the banning of guns.  Others, on the 2A side chide those who went with words of “Nothing happened, you accomplished nothing at all”.

In fact, what happened that day was to affirm our rights.  First Amendment, Second Amendment, were brought to the forefront, and the men and women that made the event happen are the heroes of the day.

They showed:

  1. Our Rights are IMPORTANT TO US ALL
  2. That Patriots, Americans, will stand up and defend what is theirs
  3. That violence isn’t the only way to make a point
  4. Laws aren’t necessarily RIGHT, especially when they are being used to take control of the population
  5. That people of all races can come together
  6. That people of BOTH SIDES of this argument can come together (there were Right and Left wingers there)
  7. A very large number of people came together and gave voice for millions of others.

Remember, we know that those who lived in America at the time of the Revolutionary War were many, but not everyone was on one side or the other.  Some were on the fence over being Royal Subjects of the Crown.  Others, not so much.

In the end, it is estimated that a mere three percent of the colonies population at the time stood up and fought.  The actual number of participation are actually closer to 6% of the total population, but roughly 3% actually fought.  The rest were support people in some way.

On the 20th, an as-yet undetermined number of people showed up, but estimates have ranged from a low ten thousand to as much as one hundred fifty thousand.

Assuming for a moment, that those folks that showed up represented only the III% of this country who would stand up and fight, there should be closer to 9,904,660 people.

In truth – that is a number larger than the entire US Military, plus all of the Federal “officers” in this country.

And, given we have a population of 330 million, and the fact there are 393 million guns in the population there is a definite disparity here.

In the end, those with guns outnumber those without, and also outnumber those who might be used as a tool by a tyrannical government to disarm the population.

In the end, this is why the 20th was important.  To show that those who would wield a law against us, to disarm us, and to usurp our rights will never stand to those of us who support and defend that Constitution.

This author, as  III%er, and an Oath Keep believes his Rights are derived naturally – or from God, as many believe, and NOT from the Government.  We are not subjects of a Monarchy, but rather Free Citizens of the United States first and foremost.

No state, government, governor, or Congress shall infringe on our Bill of Rights and we mean to keep that in place.

Even if they attempt to repeal the Second Amendment, which will precipitate a war.

War is not something the US Government wants with IT’S OWN PEOPLE.

Some in the US Government and some state governments might want to interfere with our rights, but it’s in their best interest to stop meddling, stand down, step back and regain some common sense.

 

We Patriots ask of everyone else who is not actively involved at this point to take the time to call your OWN state Representatives and tell them to STOP the gun bans.  Stand up and be heard.  Write the Federal Government, Congress, the President and tell them “We will NOT comply” with any gun bans, we will no longer stand down and shut up.  They can’t guilt us into silence.

Those days are done.

 

“Act of Terror”

Pam Geller wrote an article on the 22nd of December 2018 highlighting the murder of two, young Danish hikers in Morocco.  (https://gellerreport.com/2018/12/female-tourists-beheaded-2.html)

The scum that did this are connected to ISIS (as stated by Danish authorities).

But, the problem is, Islam is also connected to them.

Islam IS the problem.

Those Progressives in Europe are cutting their OWN throats with the “hate crime” legislation and rulings.  Far too many countries have opened their borders to these murderers, and people still, somehow believe that Islam is “a religion of peace”.

America is doing the same thing, in a smaller way.  We’ve had at least one woman murdered here by these criminals, beheaded at her place of business in Oklahoma in 2014.  Little was done.  Yes, he was caught, but was it treated as a crime or a terrorist attack?  He had been fired for “proselytizing” (Islam).  He was shot by … a citizen with a gun, one of the executives on duty that day.

What came from the FBIs mouth NEXT was the typical propaganda of the Obama Administration:

A law enforcement official said the F.B.I. had not found any connection between Mr. Nolen and the Islamic State, also known as ISIS, or other groups. “It’s not a typical workplace response, and given the current environment it is very alarming and is something we are closely looking into,” one of the officials said. “So far, there is no nexus to terrorism we are aware of.”

This scumbag, Alton Nolan was found guilty of murder in 2017 but nothing was done for the family.  The woman murdered can’t be brought back. The defense attempted to argue the man was mentally ill (Perhaps in an effort to remove any prison time).

Maybe, people like this SHOULD be viewed as mentally ill and removed from the streets immediately?  I know that the Left will scream about it, then try to say that “All religions are mentally ill”.  Or somehow spin the topic back onto the Right.

This is not a Right vs Left topic.  This is a Western Civilization vs Islam Topic.

The Danes, the Brits, the Norwegians, and most of the other “White European” countries are experiencing this anomaly, all because of “Open Borders”, all because Progressives want the Islamics to come into their countries to PROVE they are good people.

Well, they haven’t proved they were good.  And watching a place like Morocco with murderers still killing in the name of Allah just sets this in concrete for most of us.

Islam is EVIL.  They will stop at nothing to bring down Western Civilization, Whites, Christians, Europeans, Liberals and Conservatives.

It is HIGH time the United States, the people in this USA understand the threat and stop treating these people like “individuals”.

They don’t want to treat gun owners like individuals.  Or Christians.  Or white men with money.  No, they lump everyone into some “scary group” and demonize them.

Well, I say that we need to lump all the Muslims into one group and Demonize them.  Remove them, BAN their religion completely, kick them out of the United States, or incarcerate them if they open their mouths once about white people, killing, jihad, Allah or anything else.

Wait!  What?  Too much?  You think this is too much?

Then, let’s be sane people.  Leave our guns alone, leave them in the hands of the gun owners.  Stop beating up on our own Americans and start looking a lot more closely at WHO YOU’RE letting into this country through these “open borders” and who is living in those so-called “Sanctuary Cities”.  Those are the place to go to find the terrorists.

 

Government Corruption Runs Deep

Ladies and Gentlemen, I admit, I wasn’t really “keeping up” with the news the last few months as this “memo” thing began, nor did I pay much attention to the “Russian Collusion” story based solely on the fact I have no television and rarely see much news.

I read things on FB or the Internet and get interested and start digging. It’s how I get all my news. By getting interested in a story and then reading all side of the coin, not just one news agency, ALL OF THEM. Right, Left, Middle, Russian, German, French, makes no difference to me. I READ IT ALL.

After poring over that memo release and all the various news sources associated with it, I have come to a rather scary conclusion. Following are my thoughts only:

1) The memo details a lot of corruption. But, it’s only the surface. There is more to come, a LOT more. Names will get named, and connections will be made.

2) The corruption went all the way up the chain of command back to Obama himself, Susan Rice, Hillary Clinton, James Comey and many others.

3) This makes Watergate look like a “speeding ticket”.

4) The Democratic Party is in absolute MELTDOWN right now and you can judge that for yourselves by simply reading the screeching going on just on Facebook. They are self-destructing, and the lies keep coming, in droves.

5) I predict – and I rarely do this because I’m usually wrong – that there will be major protests in the next few weeks over this as more details are revealed. They will turn violent, to the point of destruction, turning over cars, “Antifa” will suddenly reappear, as will the “New Black Panthers” and other “Democrat support groups”… and the violence will get very, very large in major cities.

6) The Civil War is ON. This is no joke any more. It has been on-going now since before the elections (See a previous article I posted about How Civil War Happens) and understand that the violence will be directed at the cities at first, then at Right Wingers, Conservatives, White men and women, and children because they wil use Alinsky tactics to “pick a target, freeze it and attack it”. Mark my works on this.

7) The violence will get worse as the Spring and Summer drag on.

Be prepared. Keep your powder dry. Stock up on food and water and be ready for anything – or nothing at all. But always be Prepared for the worst. If you are a conceal carry license hold (and I don’t care if you are) don’t go OUT without your weapons any more and be trained and prepared to defend yourself. No one else is going to do it for you.

Before long, I’m afraid, we’re going to have to remove the Communists from America and take it back from them.  They’ve had a grip for too long.  It’s time to clean house.

Boomers and Social Media

Generations of people have come and gone on this planet. A Generation is usually considered to be roughly 25 years or so, as that is the amount of time that parents raise their children up to “child rearing age”. So, 25 years is arbitrarily chosen as a ‘generation’.

There are several generations living at once on Earth, and in particular in the United States (which is where we use these terms most often). Other countries might call their generations something different. The “definitions” below are meant only to give you some familiarity with them and when they were born.

Your author comes from the Baby Boomers. Mid-late 50s, raised in the 60s, and coming of “age” in the 70s (voting age, drinking age, joining-the-military-age).

You can pick your own spot on the list below.

While a Boomer, your author (who “identifies as a” ‘he’ since birth) and has been involved in computers since a very early age, built his first computer himself from components and circuit boards assembled at home in the 1970s. The first one was 4K of ram, programmed with switches and LEDs, in binary. Programs were saved on a cassette tape. So, computers are not unfamiliar to this author. Many others his age are less inclined to be involved with computers and as such our generation (Older Boomers) is frowned upon as “computer illiterate”. This is blatantly untrue and an extremely undeserved reputation.  Without Baby Boomers, computers wouldn’t even exist, let alone have the innovations they have today.

For the rest of us who might be disinclined to mess with them, this article is for you specifically – Baby Boomers, please read this.

  • 2000 to Present: New Silent Generation or Generation Z

  • 1980 to 2000: Millennials or Generation Y

  • 1965 to 1979: Thirteeners or Generation X

  • 1946 to 1964: Baby Boomers ← for whom this article is mainly written

  • 1925 to 1945: Silent Generation

  • 1900 to 1924: G.I. Generation

Above is a list of accepted names for the Generations. The explanation of why they are called such, or why we even name generations is beyond the scope of this article so for now, for now just accept this list, understand where YOU personally are in the list and let’s move on.

It is generally recognized that most of us Baby Boomers are “old”. Our grand children expect us to be ignorant of computers, how Social Media works, and how to even use a smart phone.

Nothing could be further from the truth. You can teach an old dog new tricks, assuming, of course the “Old Dog” wants to learn. Social Media of various sorts out there exist and each has a purpose and place in life. Some join Facebook to keep in contact with their children and grandchildren. Others join Twitter (and now Gab) to make comments on politics or daily life.

There is LinkedIn, useful for posting resumes, job offers, and keeping in contact with others in similar fields (and even unrelated but helpful in obtaining a position, or helping others to get jobs). LinkedIn is the ultimate Networking tool for computers. In the old days, we “Old Folks” just used the telephone (remember that there were phones hanging on walls once?) and paper resumes, letters and knocks on office doors to hand deliver things.

Here’s a quick list of all the types of Social Media sites of which I’m personally aware:

Facebook (https://facebook.com) Stay in touch with family and friends, a “party line” if you will. Some censorship.

Twitter (https://twitter.com) Make a statement. Have followers. “Pontificate”, so to speak. Lots of censorship depending on who you are, and what you say.

Gab (https://Gab.ai) Very much like Twitter. No censorship.

Linked In (https://linkedin.com) Business networking, mentoring, industry.

Sound Cloud (https://soundcloud.com) Music, Listen, create and share with other musicians)

Instagram (https://instagram.com/) Share art, photos etc with others.

Pintrest (https://www.pinterest.com) Literally a “scrap book” with everything from photos to recipes.

Vine (https://vine.co) Six seconds of short videos.

Tumblr (https://www.tumblr.com) A chronological media site, pictures, words, a public diary of sorts.

Meetup (http://www.meetup.com) Meet with people, in person for group sports, other social activities.

Yours truly has only specific personal knowledge on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Gab.

I will discuss three of those here, very briefly and try to assist the uninitiated in a few simple hints about using these particular Social Mediums.

Facebook: Facebook has been around a long time now. It is used by many for anything from talking to friends using the built in Messenger to posting public remarks on personal pages (or on friends pages). We use it to keep in contact with friends from all walks of life, from old jobs, High School, our children, our grandchildren, and people we’ve met over the years.

Twitter: As an author we use it to put our name out there, to gain a following, and hope they will purchase my books, provide reviews and tell others to read my books. Many use it as a political platform. We specifically will address this shortly.

Gab: Exactly as above, we use it to get my name out to multiple “fans” and again, hope they will remember the author’s name, purchase our books and forward on reviews and convince others to “read”. Again, Gab, like Twitter is also used as a political platform.

LinkedIn: We have used it in the past to put out my resume. We have had job offers through it, but since we are retired, have accepted none of them, nor even interviewed for anything. You can communicate with others, with companies and with prospective employees as well.

Now, to get to the meat of this article.

Politics. For Baby Boomers. Specifically.

We all have our foibles, and idiosyncrasies. We all believe we know more than everyone else at times. We also do NOT stand on ceremony at times and will spit out what we’re trying to say, even thought we truly do NOT necessarily understand what we think we do. We’re all guilty of this to some degree. And yes, we are generalizing.

When it comes to Twitter and Gab, we step in, we say things and move on. We don’t communicate. We don’t engage people. We do not listen to each other. We “pontificate”. Twitter and Gab are both very one sided if you allow it to be so.

So – as a suggestion, for those Boomers who have found themselves on Twitter and Gab we would implore you to “slow down and read” and then investigate. And also to compare your thinking with others.

Twitter makes you feel as if it’s about Quantity over Quality. Tweets (the messages users type on Twitter) are sent out to your Followers which are then read by followers, or retweeted or liked, or ignored. Sometimes followers respond positively or negatively to something you’ve said. Gab works the same way.

Gab and Twitter have “rooms” which you can’t see in Twitter except as Messages. Gab has a set of “rooms” you can see if you’re placed in one, or create it yourself. You don’t have to remain in a room, you can always leave.

But, here’s the biggest point. If someone places you into a room, they have liked something you’ve said and wish to hear from you more. Privately. Or with friends. There are bad uses for rooms, like spammers that want you buy something, watch a movie, or just pester you. You should leave those rooms.

If someone puts you/invites you to a room, you should engage them. Talk, find out what the room is. If it’s not your thing, leave. If it is something you’re interested in, they are seeking your advice, help, or some other thing from you. If you can help, you should ask them what they seek. If it’s advice and you’re not used to getting paid for your advice (Lawyers? Lol) simply help them out.

Boomers, you’re the elder generation. The YOUNG people in those other generations listed above actually are seeking advice from older people. They just don’t realize it yet. We do not mean that in any sort of derogatory manner.

Quite the contrary.

Young people are all we have left in this world, when we’re gone. They seek knowledge, they seek advice, they seek wisdom of the older people to help carry them through to “their time” when they become the leaders of this world.

Many of us disagree, sometimes vehemently with younger people and what we consider to be their “stupid ideas”, but without our guidance, all they have is elementary school, high school, college.

“Book Education does not a person, make.”

Common Sense isn’t common. Book learning is not the end of a education. And a Boomer CAN use Social Media.

The last thing we want to say about any of them is simple, but complex at the same time.

Most of us want to get onto Facebook and say hi to our kids, or on Twitter and yell about some political thing going on at the moment. What we fail to realize is that sometimes, no one listens to you. They don’t care. They don’t even, we’re afraid, even LOOK at what you said.

Occasionally, a smart, pithy comment will gain notice and will get sent on, liked, forwarded, re-tweeted or re-gabbed (as the case might be).

But – is that your legacy? Do you want to be ignored? Or would you prefer to count somewhere?

Here’s the complexity in the situation.

Most of you reading this will be “Right Wing”, “Moderate” or Middle of the Road on politics because of the site(s) it’s being posted on. So, we’re going to give you the secret.

Join Gab. Do it today. Do it now. Create a profile. Put a picture up (not yours). Give yourself a cool sounding name. Put up a banner picture (something having to do with what you’re passionate about).

Now, once you’re there, introduce yourself. If you’re a Right Winger – you might put something in your profile indicating you support, say President Trump. Go into the “Introduce yourself” section and say “HI, I’m whomever-you-are, and I believe this that and the other thing.”

You will suddenly be noticed. Someone will talk to you, someone will follow you, someone will re-Gab your message.

You will eventually find yourself invited to follow others, and you will follow others, and you will find your words. You will get invited to rooms/groups to communicate.

Don’t stop there. USE YOUR WORDS. Use your groups to find like-minded individuals who are, like you, for Freedom, against Censorship and want to Make America Great Again.

If you do this, we promise you a different perspective on politics, life in general and Social Media.

One last piece of advice for those of you on the other media, like Facebook. Keep politics completely off your personal page if you like your friends and don’t care who they are, or what they believe. Join a group on Facebook who has a political group you enjoy. Stay out of the ones you do NOT like. It’s a survival tool.

Separate your politics from your life, from your family, from your friends and from your hobbies.

You will survive longer. And – check your security settings on every place you visit.

Twitter Revisited:   Twitter is changing their “rules” in a few days (18 December 2017), their terms of service will allow them to suspend any account they feel like, when ever they wish, and they have been particularly set on removing people who are Trump Supporters, Right Wingers and anyone else they deem to be “dangerous”. If you don’t believe that, just read some of the material being bandied about the past few weeks on the Internet about the subject.

In reading the TOS for Twitter, we do NOT find they are specifically going to limit targeted accounts, except for spammers, and “name squatters” and so forth.  The whole “Twitter Purge” still may come about, it might be a non-event.  But, we will discover that on the 18th of December 2017, we are sure.

Gab is absolutely the newest, and safest way to “get your word out” and the network is growing. A few days ago, Andrew Torba (@a) stated they were at 333,333 accounts. No where near as large as Twitter yet, but, Twitter’s been around awhile. Gab is pretty new, measure in a couple of years now.

Twitter means to silence the Right. They mean to silence anyone who does not conform to their unwritten standards of “Left Leaning”, “Progressive” or “Muslim” apparently. At some point, something is going to give, and Twitter is going to crash and burn. Facebook is as creepy as it gets for wanting and collecting information about you, and sending you ads.

The whole “Net Neutrality” thing isn’t neutral at all. It’s an effort by the “information providers” like Google, Twitter, Facebook and the like to OWN the bandwidth and force the “bandwidth providers” (the ISPs) to pay for it all. Raising prices on the public (those of us who use it to collect information) is the point.

Freedom of Speech is being driven into the ground, censored and called Hate Speech. Both sides are somewhat guilty of this too. Not the Right and certainly not just the Left. Both. But, when the Right says something it’s called names like “racist” or something similar, and the same language from the Left is championed as “free speech”.

It’s not. It’s as much hate speech as we have heard in years.

If you are a Baby Boomer, and you want your voice heard, then we URGE you to sit down and learn something of the various Social Media sites, choose your poison and dive in. Don’t hit and run, that is don’t post and move on.

Engage both friend and foe alike. Use your words. Not your curse words either. Don’t name call… unless they do it first. But, it’s always better to keep your message clear and on point without distractions and there will be distractions. There will be people who hate your face, your name, your ancestry, your political stance.

You must stand firm in your convictions and correctness. That is “Be Correct”. Don’t lie, don’t make it up, don’t take the first conspiracy theory you see and espouse it. Don’t even BELIEVE those. Do your own research and if you don’t know how to do research DO NOT TAKE THINGS AT FACE VALUE EVER, not from either side.

Common sense rules, and with it you can determine the veracity of statements from the media.  Do not use “fact checking sites”.  That’s the lazy way out, and the chances of them being correct are very low, especially since most of them are paid for by Left Leaning organizations!

Knowledge is key. Facts are Truth. There’s no such thing as “my truth and your truth”. There is only Truth.

Social Media is the key to communication these days, and it has found more errors in “Main Stream Media” than another other researcher or group, or so-called “Fact Checking Group” (those things are another bane of human existence, how lazy must one be to simply believe what ever is fed to you by Snopes or Politifact?)

Knowledge is not only key. It is power. Power to win arguments and debates. Power to build a bigger, better mousetrap. Or political party.  Or group of like minded individuals.

Knowledge, above all else, is what makes us human. Our intelligence is innate, but still derived from knowledge. Without knowledge, we are simple animals who live, eat, sleep and excrete. We are more than animals.

So Boomers… if you have some hatred for computers (why are you reading this then?) or more likely a hatred for “large government” or “intrusive government” or “intrusive applications” get over it. This is the 21st Century. The Government is NOT coming after you for speaking your mind. Unless that Government becomes a Left Leaning Marxist regime (which it could again).  Using your speech helps the rest of us prevent a Left Leaning Marxist regime.

Stand up (or rather sit down at your computer) and be heard. Think. Learn. Be powerful.

Use your Social Media to work with others.

If the Key to Power is knowledge, then the key to success is Communications through Social Media.

Do it. Today.

Summary:

  • Slow down and read the messages.  Read the comments and thread of messages below the original message.
  • Engage with others.  Pro and Con.
  • Don’t argue a point until you have your point clear in your head and can BACK UP YOUR STATEMENTS.
  • Don’t call the other side names.  It’s immature.  As much as you want to do it, DON’T.
  • If the other side behaves irrationally (and the Left certainly does) it’s probably time to move on.
  • Engage pro commentators and follow them, help them, and certainly give them other info privately.
  • Grow your OWN group of Followers on Twitter, Facebook and Gab.
  • Keep your followers engaged with pithy, informational, and fact-filled comments.
  • Take care to CHECK YOUR SOURCES of information carefully.
  • Being the first with a piece of information (unless you’re watching it happen) isn’t always best.
  • Quality over Quantity.
  •  Don’t forget to thank others for following occasionally and follow them back.
  • Like their good posts.  Ignore the junk.
  • Use your WORDS.  The Best words.  Not bad words. Not cuss words.

This Author doesn’t always practice what he preaches either.  Sometimes cuss words come out, sometimes bad words come out, and sometimes one can’t help but point out exactly what Evil in this world is without using some of those words.  Don’t be afraid to NOT point out evil!

America At War

The Las Vegas shooter has not yet been identified – at least not in a “political sense”.

The authorities haven’t put out any motives, and certainly haven’t assigned his attacks as “terrorism”.  I suppose this is because they can’t, or don’t want to do so.

This author will point out that he has connections with the Philippines and by association, the Muslim world.  Indonesia has the largest group of Muslims on the planet.

We are sincerely at war.  We are war with Islam, and have been for a long time, truthfully since the 1700s.  Even Thomas Jefferson recognized we were at war with them.  That war has never stopped and there has never been a truce.

Deeper than the war with Islam however, is a war against rational thought, against thinking, against the beliefs of Conservatism.  Against the American Way of Life.

The Left has become an incoherent mass of victims, blaming everyone but themselves for everything happening in America.  They tear down what is right, and destroy the ideals of truth.  Facebook has tried to suppress any news out of  Las Vegas.  Ok, perhaps not “any” but some.  By redirecting people to, of all places, Politifact.  Interesting.  When we tried to post some alternative news (which, by the way has turned out to be TRUE) a popup box showed, attempting to redirect readers somewhere else.  But don’t believe this article, here are the actual screen shots I took myself.

I’m sorry but I will not be directed.  Not by Facebook, Twitter, a Government Agency.  None. No one. Americans can find themselves in dangerous situations like Las Vegas.  Truth. Carry your gun. Carry it everywhere, regardless of rules.  Ignore the laws.  They are there to get you killed.

No a hand gun would not have likely helped in Las Vegas.  A rifle might, but most of us couldn’t have stopped him at that distance.  But there are other incidents where we could have.

We are now in a war.  I will tell you now why I believe this.  Even without evidence to support what I am about to say the Left declared war on traditional values long ago.  We all know they did. We all know that the Left denigrates anything good on the Right.  They teach the young that we’re evil.  We’re “Nazis”.  We’re “racists”.  And they scream and yell if we point to them and place them in a “generalized box” of “Liberals”.  Funny how that works.

It’s ok for the Left to place the Right, Conservatives, Christians and others into one box, but not for us to do the same thing.  They fight for control of our minds by indoctrinating the children, calling us names, and making us all appear to be evil.

And they blame the tools, not the men who use them for the damages caused.

Progressive Tyranny is the word.  This is what they do.  This is how they control.  It’s not about “Gun Control”, it’s about “Control”.  Whether it is gun control, mind control, school control, or Control of the White Right Wing… it’s about control.

The family of five year-old Laylah Petersen announced that they had donated her heart. (People)

Five year-old Laylah Petersen was killed when a black gang shot her dead while sitting on her grandfather’s lap.

The national media ignored this story.

Wounded American Warrior reported:

Two black males in Milwaukee walked up to the home of a white family, in a majority black neighborhood, and unleashed a hail of gunfire. A five year old white girl was murdered while sitting on her grandfather’s lap.

Milwaukee police say there is no question the shooters were deliberating trying to kill people inside the house. At least a dozen bullets were fired directly into the house. There may have been a third person driving a getaway car.

The house was located in a census tract that is 77% black and 14% white.

The Milwaukee Sentinel and Milwaukee channel 6 have actually been trying to downplay the murder. They are falsly reporting that it was “a stray bullet.” That directly contradicts all the evidence found by police.

Milwaukee Police Capt. Eric Moore erupted while discussing the shooting with reporters.

He reminded reporters that 80% of shooting victims and 80% of violent crime in his city were black-on-black crimes.

US Government “Shut Down” 2013

Good morning all.

I’m sitting at a military installation.  For the record it is being passed on the news that literally several thousand at the various bases in my region have been furloughed.

Now – looking around me, I can tell you this is kind of bullshit.  A whole lot of government people are at work.

This morning NOAA shut down their web sites.  Web sites don’t require a hell of a lot of work – except updating the data on them, so why shut it down?  A large portion of the people working for ALL government agencies are Contractors.

In our case, I’m a contractor, money has been allocated already (for awhile, we could be furloughed soon too though).

In the case of NOAA most of the weather people doing updates are contractors.

So shutting down sites is a childish thing the President has ordered.

Yesterday monuments in DC were closed.  Today a lot of parks are closed… even if they have roads passing through, the ROADS ARE CLOSED.  Childish.

The White House hasn’t been reopened since sequestration… childish.

Do I care if the government “shuts down”?  Not really.

All those “economic problems” because “caused” by this are more bullshit problems.  They aren’t getting their check on payday – but you can bet your ass they will get their back pay.  No one is going to stop spending money because the government has shut down.

Funny…. though, Obamacare hasn’t shut down.  It launches the day the government shuts down and it’s being funded.

Childish.

There is a (slight) possibility that if this continues for weeks there will be some “crashes”.  EBT cards won’t get funded soon enough and a lot of government agencies will simply stop working.  This means that there will be some ripples, but how bad those ripples becomes is anyone’s guess right now.

I honestly see the GOP caving in shortly because they are getting the majority of the blame, even though it is Harry Reid and the Senate really stopping this.

Yesterday they funded the military, but refused to fund the VA.  Congress will get paid no matter what, because it’s written into the constitution they will get paid.

Basically this is a “Fund my stuff, but not your stuff” kind of fight.  The country as a whole doesn’t want Obamacare.  A few people want it.  Liberals assholes who want others to pay for their problems.

I have a job, I have health care – I’m expecting it to increase drastically to the point I will tell them “I don’t want it”.  And I’ll take the “fine” and I won’t pay that either.  Pretty soon, I will have ZERO INCOME and how cool will that be?  I can’t really be fined if I have no money right?  Whatever.

To hell with the government, Obama, the Democrats, the GOP – all of them.  They are a bunch of lying assholes who want to control every aspect of our lives in America.  They want most of our money we make (so they can waste it), they want to control where we can go, when we can go, how much we can save or not save, they want to control OUR HEALTH, they want to control what we eat, read, drink, own, where we live, how we live and whether we live or die.

Not only is it TIME to shut this government down, it’s time to remove these assholes from office.

Almost as if the strategic leaders and the media have no idea what’s happening on Russian soil, Dmitry Medvedev seems to be shouting it from the rooftops.  As we have learned in the past, when Russia makes promises, they lie; when Russia makes threats, they are telling the downright truth.  In just the past week, they have made one threat after another concerning their resistance to NATO’s missile shield, and things just got worse.

Exacerbating the tensions between NATO allies and Russia, Medvedev decides to flex Russian muscles on their nuclear capabilities.  Charles Clover and Geoff Dyer of FT.com report:

Then, taking the podium in a glittering Kremlin ballroom, Mr. Medvedev declared that Russia’s younger generation needed positive role models to inspire them towards “success in literature, art, education, and” – he paused wistfully – “nuclear weapons”.

Medvedev continues to talk about Russia’s itchy trigger finger and their nuclear arms capabilities.

“They may still come in handy,” he said, apropos, seemingly, of nothing. “We’re not going to use them, but let’s still keep them around, because we have a big country, a complex country. We must value it and protect it.”

This heightened rhetoric is suspected to be coming from what was discussed at the most recent NATO summit in Chicago.  The NATO European missile defense shield has been the subject of debate over the past few weeks, but it seems as if Russia is bringing the aggravation to a head.  They claim that the defensive measures of the shield would provoke war.  But, I thought that war was over?  Apparently, not.

In fact, the article goes on to state:

If that were to happen, said General Nikolai Makarov, chief of Russia’s general staff, it could lead to an “illusion of security”, which could lead to war. Countries allowing the missile defence shield on their soil, Gen Makarov said, risked a Russian nuclear first strike. “A decision on pre-emptive use of the attack weapons available will be made when the situation worsens,” he breezily told a news conference this month.”

Yes, the good general actually said the words, “nuclear first strike”.  This is extremely unnerving, especially given their recent activities, as reported earlier last week.  Steve Gutterman of Reuters reports:

The Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) was successfully launched from the Plesetsk facility in northwestern Russia and its dummy warhead landed on target on the Kamchatka peninsula on the Pacific coast, the Defense Ministry said.”

The new ICBM has capabilities, which suggest that the Russians had anticipated NATO’s construction of the shield.

The new missile is expected to improve Russia’s offensive arsenal, “including by increasing the capability to overcome missile defense systems that are being created”, the ministry said in a statement.

The General Makarov’s comments of a first strike are especially scary, concerning NORAD’s current level of preparedness.  The Clinton administration implemented PDD 60, which states that the US will absorb a first strike before retaliating.  In an interview with Robert Bell of the National Security Council, he stated that the US will no longer “launch on warning”.  He further says,

“Our policy is to confirm that we are under nuclear attack with actual detonations before retaliating,”

In short, if Russia does decide to launch a first strike in response to NATO’s deployment of the European missile shield, they shall certainly succeed (and their newly tested ICBM has proven it can get through).  This makes the US and NATO allies strategically sitting ducks.

WASHINGTON – Just as the Syrian crisis was getting under way, a joint U.S.-Israeli test of an anti-missile system prompted the Russian General Staff to go on “high alert” and notify President Vladimir Putin that missiles may be incoming on Syria.

The reason: Neither the United States nor Israel bothered to notify Russia that the Sept. 2 test was going on in the Mediterranean near Syria.

Moscow’s response was immediate.

The Russian General Staff thought Israel had launched a preemptive attack on Syria in the eastern Mediterranean which some Russian officials said could have led to World War III.

The U.S. and Israel were conducting a joint test of Israel’s Arrow-3 anti-missile system when it launched two Israeli Ankor, or Sparrow, missiles as targets from the central Mediterranean toward the eastern Mediterranean coast.

The Arrow is Israel’s most advanced anti-missile system and the U.S. has spent billions of dollars in its development.

According to various sources, the Russian ballistic missile early warning radar at Armavir on the Black Sea detected the launch of the two Ankor target missiles, heading toward Syria.

Armavir provides early warning of incoming missile attacks on Russia from Europe and the Middle East.

Putin was immediately notified of the launches.

When the truth came out about the unannounced anti-missile test, Russian Deputy Defense Minister Anatoly Antonov criticized Israel for undertaking such a launch during a crisis occurring in the neighboring country of Syria.

Referring to the Mediterranean region as a “powder keg,” Antonov warned that anything such as an unannounced missile test could explode into war.

The article at the bottom of my comments is a couple of days old, it’s from Debka – so it’s not the best source but is probably accurate. Basically we’re looking at the following states being involved in this as things heat up:

Syria, Iran, Hezbollah, Russia, China

Australia, Canada, France, Italy, Japan, Republic of Korea, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Turkey, the United Kingdom and the United States of America

France is “waiting” for more information from the UN.
UK is really “just waiting”.

Russia has moved about 8 ships total toward the Med. The US has moved a few subs, some destroyers into the Med and the Nimitz Carrier group to the Gulf.

Obama is preparing the country for an attack, “limited in scope and duration”, promising “no boots on the ground”. Anyone who has been in the military KNOWS this isn’t true, isn’t going to be true and can’t possibly work. Anyone with even a limited sense of tactics understands you don’t telegraph your moves to the “enemy”. Anyone with even a rudimentary grasp of strategy knows you don’t put all your eggs in one basket when planning any sort of an attack. And anyone with a clue about life understands you don’t go to war for no good reason and you certainly don’t do it if you can’t PROVE you have a good reason. Obama has not proved anything.

The Senate committee just delivered the Resolution to go into Syria to the full Senate. Congress, both houses will debate and vote likely next week on this.

We’re standing on the verge of World War III – without a “draft”, without American support, without support of the majority of Congress – and we’re less than a week away from September 11. Rumors are rampant on the Internet that there’s more than meets the eye here, and the country is “confused” according to our so-called “leader” Obama.

First he sets a “Red Line” then when the bad guys cross it a month ago, it takes time to verify this, and now he’s ready to go into a limited in scope and duration “war” against the Assad regime, to apparently punish the regime, but to give a leg up to verified enemies of America – Hezbollah, Muslim Brotherhood and other Muslim lunatics. Iran is saying how they will “bring it” to the US. Russia is backing Syria. Syria is claiming their own allies now. The Chinese are going to back the Russians. Obama has castrated our military in recent months through the shut down of units, bases, equipment, and firing of men smarter than himself.

The United States is being set up for failure big time by this man. Americans, whom for the most part are opposed to this “action” in Syria are caught in the middle of all of the forces massing on the horizon.

America is, from intelligence, full of leaderless Islamic cells – from Iranian Revolutionary Guard to Hezbollah, to Al Qaeda. Americans are being disarmed in some states including my own, in an attemp(?) to make us more vulnerable to outside forces.

It is time to stand up and be heard. It’s time to remove this asshat from the White House. It’s time for his Impeachment to begin. Get on the phone and start making the case with your members of Congress. We have to stop this guy from bringing the nukes down on our heads for his own ego.

Syria’s Muqdad threatens World War III for US strike

Up until today I’ve considered this whole Syria thing total folly.

But my American Military Mind started really thinking this through.

Today several Travel Warnings were issued by State.  It occurs to me that the US Government isn’t telling the Public everything.  So, I’m going to lay this out as if I were standing there listening in to the briefings we can’t usually hear.

Pretend for a moment you’re standing in a Congressional Classified Briefing and they bring up the number of “rebel groups” (There are about 1200 different groups).  They bring up that the most powerful among those Rebels are Hezbollah related.  Hearing more information about this and the fact that there are actually chemical weapons available in that country you realize suddenly that if the Rebels WIN this civil war, they get their hands on those WMD.

Now, who do you think will not OWN those items?

Terrorists….

To use that stuff on Americans. On US Embassies.  On Israelis.  On Christians.  On innocents.  On cities.  On subways, trains, airports, malls….

After considering this, perhaps the whole reason the President wants to go in there (other than regime change which I think is his real reason for this) is to stop the terrorists.  Nope.  Obomber doesn’t want to do that, those are his people.  He wants to clear out Assad and allow the Muslim Brotherhood to take over.

The Pentagon, the US military, Congress and most of the American people are smarter than the President gives us credit for being.  The MILITARY will go in there and secure or destroy the WMD to prevent it from falling into the hands of terrorists.

Remember them calling Bush a liar about Iraqi WMD?  Remember most of us saying “It was moved to Syria”?  Remember that Obama doesn’t want Bush to get any credit and is blaming him for everything?

No folks what this is truly about is allowing Obama to appear like a winner, Bush like a loser, hiding the fact that the WMD in Syria belonged to Saddam (and this will vindicate Bush if we can get a-hold of that stuff and prove it) and it will put Obama OUT of Office.

Honestly, this is a lot more complex than just letting Muslims to kill Muslims, or bombing some random camels and tents like Clinton did.  No, no, no, my fellow Patriots.

This is Obama trying to get us nuked.

This is Obama trying to hide the fact the WMD belonged to Saddam.

This is Obama trying to look good.

This is the Pentagon trying to stop terrorists from getting their hands on these weapons.

My final thinking on this is… we probably should go in there.  But do it right.  Everything we’ve got.  Take down BOTH sides of this conflict, destroy the chemical weapons and vindicate Bush, and if we get the chance, kick Russia in the nuts and take them down as well.

America has been made out to be a pansy-assed country by our OWN President.  It’s time to remove this guy from office and do the right thing.  But we have to DO IT RIGHT!

Air Force One had Wheels Down in St. Petersberg this morning for the G-20 summit.  I guess it’s on again.  Obama hasn’t got the balls to back up anything he says.  He’s vacillated on the “Red Line”, and now he’s blaming the world community, Congress and whomever else he can blame for setting that red line.  I guess backing out of meeting with Putin over Snowden is out too?

Putin called Kerry a liar.  Flat out, a liar.  Take that John F-ing Kerry.  All Kerry could do was sputter and say “That’s basically untrue…”.  What was untrue, Kerry?

I spent many years traveling with Reagan and Bush, Air Force One, Air Force Two, dropping in and out of countries before and after the “Boss” landed.  I did communications.  I really, really feel sorry for the WHCA guys these days traveling with this asshat.  I wish the military contingent well – assuming they are even traveling with the President these days.

Seriously, Obama, almost a year ago stated what “the red line” was.

A year later – well in August it turns out that chemical weapons were used.  And they were used BEFORE that apparently and we did nothing.  Now we MUST do something?

Or is this something worse, a method by which the asshole-in-chief manages to bring us to the brink of a nuclear war with Russia just so he and Putin can make nice-nice on the sidelines and “fix” the whole world, bring “peace in our time” or make himself appear to be larger than life?

What if this is all a giant hoax perpetrated by Obama and his puppet masters?

Now that Obama is back in the presidency they are finding a far more difficult negotiating partner over questions like Syria, over issues like the missile defense and others. Snowden, I think is a red herring, simply an excuse that is very convenient to use at this point.

John Kerry was asked about Russia

In regards to this Syria crisis, one of the Senators on the Foreign Relations committee (I didn’t catch who) mentioned Russia, asking specific and pointed questions of Kerry, after pointing out that the Russians had been providing money, aid, military defense equipment.

Kerry sputtered about an answer, and then stepped around the answer to basically ignore the Russian question.

Essentially, they (Kerry) doesn’t want the American Public to be confused or concerned about the Russians. Only chemical weapons.

Meanwhile, months after video, photo and voice documentation on the Benghazi suspects was first presented to high-level military leaders, the State Department and ultimately the White House, prison breaks in the country have eroded security. U.S. special forces have now been relegated to a “villa,” a stopover for the operators before they’re shipped out of the country entirely.

“We put American special operations in harm’s way to develop a picture of these suspects and to seek justice and instead of acting, we stalled. We just let it slip and pass us by and now it’s going to be much more difficult,” one source said, citing 1,200 prisoners escaping two weeks ago. “It’s already blowing up. Daily assassinations, bi-weekly prison escapes, we waited way too long.”

The latest development raises questions about when the attackers will be brought to justice in the murder of Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans last September.

The special operators are starting to get frustrated at the lack of action, and Fox News has been told by multiple sources that one special forces leader “literally yelled” at former Libyan Chief of Mission William Roebuck “and told him, ‘so you’re willing to let these guys get away with murder?'”

The outburst was “met with crickets,” the sources said.

Asked about what actions have been taken on the suspects, the U.S. Department of Justice declined to comment. However, a senior U.S. official with knowledge of the situation in Libya suggested there is always intelligence to be gained by simply watching and listening to the suspects.

In addition, Pentagon officials disputed what the operators in question are claiming, saying that group was not specifically tasked with finding the Libyan suspects responsible for the Benghazi attack. These officials said other forces out of Fort Bragg are tasked with that mission, and they are not leaving. Pentagon officials also say the trainers, which were authorized by Congress under part of the defense budget to facilitate training of Libyans for counterterrorism, were not there to track the Benghazi suspects. They insist congressional funding is very clear in its mission: for training locals in counterterrorism.

However, special operators in the region counter the claims and suggest the Pentagon and State Department are playing with words, saying those being pulled are in fact tasked with both training the Libyans and identifying Benghazi attack suspects. “The training is partly a cover and some of these guys … provided the information on suspects directly to U.S. military commanders and the U.S. State Department last November and again in January. They are there and trained to find, fix and finish,” one said.

Fox News reported earlier this year that American forces had identified suspects by the end of November 2012, and reported on their whereabouts to Roebuck last January, yet no action was taken. They returned again in January to identify and locate these same suspects after being requested to do so by military leaders. In the months since, the operators in the region have been sitting in de facto standby, despite the Justice Department charges being filed.

To make matters worse, the U.S. trainers have been sitting in their Libyan “villa” now for a number of days after a Libyan military leader kicked the Americans out of the camp where they had been standing-up a Libyan special forces team for nearly a year, backed by U.S. taxpayer dollars. The maneuver by the Libyan chief of defense has “left our guys high and dry,” and this same chief has locked down Tripoli as well, Fox News is told. The sources say U.S. leaders have now let the Libyan government occupy the special forces camp — and in turn undermine the effort to train a legitimate force capable of countering Al Qaeda, which was the initial assignment before the Sept. 11 attack in Benghazi.

The men tell Fox News their mission was to capture or kill the suspects in question, and they briefed the acting U.S. ambassador in Libya and the senior CIA representative in the country. The men were told both Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and an under secretary were briefed about their information and their ability to capture or kill those responsible. Still, they did not get approval from the Department of Defense or the White House.

Some of the individuals report seeing former AFRICOM commander General Carter Ham tell former Libya Chief of Mission Laurence Pope that he could easily submit a plan to kill or capture the suspects, but “politics and fallout kept us from acting. To do an operation we have to have (Chief of Mission) and state approval. We didn’t get it. … They sat on it.”

Multiple sources in Libya tell Fox News that the politics in the lack of response to the Benghazi attacks involves the U.S. State Department position in Libya. “No career diplomat wants to be responsible for giving the green light or supporting an operation that if goes wrong, another Somalia, Blackhawk Down, turns into a political fragmentation grenade that puts any group, party, or element in the public scrutiny spotlight … especially after the train wreck on September 11th.”

Sources told Fox News, though, that the Obama administration will be under pressure to produce some result from its investigation with the one-year anniversary of the attack looming.

Homeland Security loses track of 1 million foreigners; report could hurt immigration deal

This is just the ones they KNOW came in and can’t prove they left.  What about those that sneaked in and didn’t leave?  The ones they don’t even KNOW about?

The Homeland Security Department has lost track of more than 1 million people who it knows arrived in the U.S. but who it cannot prove left the country, according to an audit Tuesday that also found the department probably won’t meet its own goals for deploying an entry-exit system.

The findings were revealed as Congress debates an immigration bill, and the Government Accountability Office’s report could throw up another hurdle because lawmakers in the House and Senate have said that any final deal must include a workable system to track entries and exits and cut down on so-called visa overstays.

The government does track arrivals, but is years overdue in setting up a system to track departures — a goal set in a 1996 immigration law and reaffirmed in 2004, but which has eluded Republican and Democratic administrations.

“DHS has not yet fulfilled the 2004 statutory requirement to implement a biometric exit capability, but has planning efforts under way to report to Congress in time for the fiscal year 2016 budget cycle on the costs and benefits of such a capability at airports and seaports,” GAO investigators wrote.

Outside business groups and Republican donors are trying to breathe life into the push for getting an immigration bill through Congress this year.

Nearly 100 top donors and former party officials signed a letter Tuesday pleading with House Republicans to pass a bill legalizing illegal immigrants, saying it could open the door to earning immigrants’ political support.

“Doing nothing is de facto amnesty. We need to take control of whom we let in our country and we need to make sure everybody plays by the same rules,” the donors said in their letter.

They aimed their pitch at House Republicans, who are trying to figure out a way forward and find themselves trapped between rank-and-file Republican voters who say legalizing illegal immigrants is an amnesty, and the party’s elites and donors who say the party cannot survive nationally without embracing legalization as part of a strategy to win over Hispanic voters.

We live in a seemingly free country, so we’re told. But that may be because the majority of us have never spent time in a war zone or highly secured police state-like environment.

Few of us understand what it looks like when military and state intelligence assets take over.

Those who do understand, and have themselves implemented such plans in other countries, see exactly what’s going on and they are sounding the alarm (often falling on deaf ears).

In Concord, New Hampshire the local police chief has filed a requisition with the Department of Homeland Security to beef up his police force with a Ballistic Engineered Armored Response Counter Attack Truck to quell any disturbances initiated by activists or other potential domestic terrorists. In response, the residents held a city council meeting, prompting a retired Marine Colonel to weigh in.

He was formerly a coordinator tasked with manning, training and equipping the Iraqi Army throughout the northern provinces, and he candidly shares his insights and compares the nationwide lock-down in Iraq to what’s happening right here at home.

This is coming from someone who knows – someone who has seen exactly how a population is put under control by means of surveillance and force – and he suggests that what they did in Iraq is child’s play compared to what’s happening in the Land of the Free today.

My job was to man, train and equip the Iraqi Army in Al Anbar, Najaf, Karbala and the northern provinces… We did everything we could to make it as strong as possible.

I’ll tell you right now, homeland security would kick their butts in a week.

What’s happening here is we’re building a domestic military, because it’s unlawful…unconstitutional to use American troops on American soil. So, what we’re doing is we’re building a military.

The way we do things in the military is called task organization. You take a command and then you attach units to it in order to accomplish the mission.

What’s happening is Homeland Security is pre-staging gear and equipment… what they’re trying to do is use standardized vehicles, standardized equipment. 

I saw a picture of the Marathon bombing and there were two officers – they both had identical helmets, flack jackets, weapons… everything I wore in Iraq.

What we’re doing here – let’s not kid about it – we’re building a domestic army and we’re shrinking the military because the government is afraid of its own citizens.

And the fallout so far has included the resignation of the head of Missouri’s rodeo-clown organization, and the announcement of Missouri State Fair officials that all rodeo clowns will now have to take sensitivity training as a condition of their employment.

Meanwhile, the clown who actually performed the skit — donned a mask of the president and mocked as an announcer asked the crowd if they wanted to see a bull run him down — has been banned for life from state rodeo performances.

If current political trends continue, there are two inescapable outcomes: Hillary Clinton will be elected President in 2016 and, by the end of her eight years in office, the United States will no longer exist.

The Democrat electoral juggernaut cannot be stopped for two reasons.

First, the Democrats seem to have perfected the art of voter fraud and it may now be considered an integral component of their national campaign strategy. The results of the 2012 election suggest that massive voter fraud is not required. Selective alteration of the count in specific precincts of large swing states such as Ohio, Pennsylvania and Florida would be enough. That might help explain why Democrats, especially Hillary Clinton are vehemently opposed to voter ID requirements.

In parallel, the mainstream media will censor or manipulate the news in order to promote Hillary’s political ambitions, even at the expense of their own journalistic integrity and the well-being of the country.

Additional factors that will contribute to a permanent Democrat majority and a one-party state are the amnesty and the voting rights that will soon be given to 11 million or more illegal aliens.

The extent of corruption in the federal government and our political system is no longer compatible with liberty. Unless there is a significant reversal soon, it is only a matter of time that a catastrophe will be upon us, which will inexorably lead to national collapse and fragmentation.

The Republican Party can no longer be considered a political vehicle capable of providing effective opposition to the far-left policies of the Democrat Party and the propaganda of the establishment media. It too has become a party of big government, which is unresponsive and unaccountable to its constituency.

As a recent example of the tyrannical approach and abuse of power practiced by the political elite, the Republicans have joined with the Democrats to force Obamacare on the American people while at the same time exempting themselves.

Will a Military Coup fix America?

I personally just don’t see a military coup in the United States as an option.  But is my view of the world the same as others’ beliefs?  Probably not.  When it comes right down to it, with my vast amount of time as a military man, from my point of view, I can’t say that absolutely, definitely a coup could or would take place.  The truth is, in MY time, no such thing could have or would have happened.  But other factors are in play here that I would never have considered myself – but others might.

The Spanish have a long and storied history for coups – in fact, Mexicans and most Previously-ruled-by-Spain Central and South American countries follow suit.  When the people get mad, they start a war.  Someone winds up on top in the end, usually the existing military and a strong leader (regardless of his moral and ethically leanings).  Most south and central American countries are what we consider “banana republics”.

Is America becoming a Banana Republic?

Let us look:

A Banana republic is a pejorative term for a country with a kleptocratic government, often with a primitive economy and sometimes a puppet state of a major power.

The more proper definition being: Banana republic is a political science term for a politically unstable country whose economy is largely dependent on the export of a single limited-resource product, such as bananas. It typically has stratified social classes, including a large, impoverished working class and a ruling plutocracy that comprises the elites of business, politics, and the military. This politico-economic oligarchy controls the primary-sector productions and thereby exploits the country’s economy. (Wikipedia)

kleptocracy: Kleptocracy, alternatively cleptocracy or kleptarchy, (from Greek: κλέπτης – kleptēs, “thief” and κράτος – kratos, “power, rule”, hence “rule by thieves”) is a form of political and government corruption where the government exists to increase the personal wealth and political power of its officials and the ruling class at the expense of the wider population, often without pretense of honest service. This type of government corruption is often achieved by the embezzlement of state funds.

plutocracy: Rule by the wealthy. We’re technically not being ruled by the wealthy, but then again we are. Rich lawyers are elected thus rich lawyers are in charge of most of the government’s various sectors. Companies lobby for power in the government (and I have no trouble with open markets).

So this author’s guess is that  ARE a Banana Republic, or more accurately rapidly degenerating into a Banana Republic. We still have a Constitutional Republic and most of us KNOW this and MOST of us wouldn’t do anything against “the government” in the military. Whether some rogue officer would start something, I just don’t know – but I just can’t SEE it happening.

On the other hand…

1) Morals are in decline.
2) America is in decline.
3) Money is becoming worthless.
4) The economy is tanking.
5) Things are not worth what they once were.
6) People are in “gimme gimme” mode.
7) The President himself is working to divide people of this country.
8) The Left is fighting the Right on guns and every other thing you can imagine.
9) Detroit is the first major city to have fallen.
10) Other cities won’t be far behind.
11) Obamacare will destroy what’s left of the economy.
12) Oil and Coal are verboten.
13) Scandal after scandal has rocked DC and those are being called “phony”.
14) More people are on government help than are working now.
15) Political corruption
16) Government corruption
17) borders are uncontrolled, the “barbarian hordes” are coming through daily, by the thousands
18) the government coffers are being sucked dry by “entitlements” and the government keeps wanting more from the working people, the “rich” and corporations.

Rome fell for the many of the same reasons; moral decline, political corruption, “barbarian knowledge of Roman tactics” (think about that for a moment), a failing economy, unemployment of the working “class”, decline in ethics and values, natural disasters, barbarian invasion (Hmmmm…. border security?), military decay (not being trained right, and reduction in forces), and many other reasons.

So could a military coup take America back?  I can not answer that question but I can certainly suggest that this country is in a condition which will facilitate such a thing happening.  But will some military officer be able to gain enough power to lead enough American men, who are independent thinkers, into such a one way path?  I seriously doubt it will happen.  I don’t doubt the fall of America is upon us.

WASHINGTON — President Obama hosted top executives from Apple, AT&T, Google and other tech and civil liberties groups at the White House on Thursday to discuss government surveillance, a White House official confirmed.

The meeting, which was first reported by Politico, was not on the president’s public schedule.

“The meeting was part of the ongoing dialogue the president has called for on how to respect privacy while protecting national security in a digital era,” said the official, who was not authorized to comment publicly on the meeting and spoke on condition of anonymity.

Thursday’s meeting, which included Apple CEO Tim Cook and AT&T CEO Randall Stephenson, followed another outreach effort earlier this week by White House counsel Kathy Ruemmler and White House chief of staff Denis McDonough. They met with a group of tech executives and civil liberty activists on Tuesday.

The president may have alluded to the meetings in his interview earlier this week with Jay Leno on the Tonight Show, when he noted that he was “talking to Congress and civil libertarians and others” about the issue.

And I reblogged it a short time ago.  It concerned me a bit… perhaps FEMA is attempting to drive up survival food prices?  Who knows?  But anyway, I wrote to them and received the following letter from one of the folks at the supply place, and the letter is listed below with their response.  I usually take conspiracy theories with a grain of salt – no, that’s a lie, I vehemently attempt to tear them apart because they do NOTHING for our community and “side”.  When a “Concentration Camp” sort of Conspiracy Theory is perpetuate without ANY real evidence or made up evidence, or just faked evidence, it does nothing to help us.  All of these sorts of things should be cleared up quickly and left where they belong… in the dirt.

However, this appears to be some kind of a real “threat” to the survivalist food supplies.

Think about it.  First the Ammo, now survival food sources being targeted?  For one, I don’t believe you should use survival foods as an only source, I have other methods of collecting food, and I’ll detail and outline those some other time.  But for now, is this a threat?

We received an inquiry from FEMA seeking information on our food supply and how much we could supply. This alarmed us, and thus far we have not responded. Considering the current drive to reduce our ammo supplies, we felt disclosing the information was the right thing to do so folks would be aware of the potential threat .

We do understand FEMA and other organizations do seek to make purchases of foods for their crisis stockpiles, however we feel their may be a chance that this may end up like the ammo situation or something similar. We want to avoid that if at all possible.

Fellow Patriots:

I’m just a little bit concerned. Let me tell you why. Understand that I’m sticking my neck out telling you this, but I think we deserve to know what our government is up to.

Very recently I was contacted by the Department of Homeland Security (click link below to see the letter). It was not the fact that they contacted me that has me worried, it was what they wanted that bothers me.

They want our emergency survival food. And they want it NOW!

Typically the government will post a Request For Information and receive bids from suppliers. As of this morning there are still no active public requests from DHS/FEMA. They are trying to keep this quiet by contacting makers of Emergency Survival Food directly and discreetly. Well…not on my watch!

You probably remember the big stir back in 2011 when FEMA put out that they wanted to purchase MILLIONS of meals of emergency food. The alternative media covered this topic so fiercely that they quickly cancelled the request saying that it was “premature” in nature.

But here we are, August 2013 and FEMA once again is trying to buy up large stockpiles of food. And they don’t want anyone to know it, and they want to take immediately delivery.

Friends…I’ve studied history. That is what got me into preparedness in the first place. History has shown us time after time that those who depend on the government to come to their aid during a disaster are the ones waiting the longest for help. Sometimes help never comes…or comes too late.

I do not believe these critical emergency food supplies should be in the hands of the government, stored in some secret warehouse only to be brought out and distributed to their own agencies first,  with the rest of us getting table scraps long after we need it.

These life-saving meals belong in the hands of people like you and me. This is why I declined the opportunity to sell to the Department of Homeland Security.

But let’s not forget the most important part of this: Why the sudden sense of urgency? What do they know that we do not?

I’m not one to cry that the sky is always falling, but when DHS/FEMA make a move to quietly buy up emergency food supplies and ask how much we can ship within 24 hours…I think this is far enough outside the realm of what is “normal” to beg some questions.

Fortunately I’ve been in this business long enough to predict what happens next. One or more of the other “survival companies” out there will inevitably see a chance to make a quick buck from Uncle Sam (which is really paid for by us, the taxpayer). This could create a run on many of the core raw ingredients used by emergency food makers that will cause a ripple effect throughout the industry as supply chains become bottle-necked handling the FEMA/DHS request.

Fortunately I was able to put in a large order in anticipation of the impact of the FEMA request (and whatever they may be urgently preparing for) and I have production machines working around the clock to ensure an increase of the available supply in our warehouse as soon as possible.

Update: Due to the number of people responding to and acting on the information disclosed above we have updated our estimated ship time for Emergency Food products to two weeks.

Like myself, I’m sure you are also uneasy about this request. What it means we have yet to see. But as they say, “knowledge is power”.

Why would Muslim oil billionaires finance and develop controlling relationships with black college students? Well, like anyone else, they would do it for self-interest. And what would their self-interest be? We all know the top two answers to that question: 1. a Palestinian state and 2. the advancement of Islam in America. The idea then was to advance blacks who would facilitate these two goals to positions of power in the Federal government, preferably, of course, the Presidency. And why would the Arabs target blacks in particular for this job? Well, for the same reason the early communists chose them as their vanguard for revolution (which literally means “change”) in America. Allow me to quote Trotsky, in 1939: “The American Negroes, for centuries the most oppressed section of American society and the most discriminated against, are potentially the most revolutionary element of the population. They are designated by their historical past to be, under adequate leadership, the very vanguard of the proletarian revolution.” Substitute the word “Islam” for the words “the proletarian revolution,” and you most clearly get the picture, as Islam is a revolutionary movement just like communism is. (Trivia: it is from this very quote that communist Van Jones takes his name. Van is short for vanguard. He was born “Anthony”). In addition, long before 1979, blacks had become the vanguard of the spread of Islam in America, especially in prisons.

Interestingly, in context with the fact that this article was written by her father-in-law, Valerie Jarrett has an unusual amount of influence over Obama (along with personal security that may be even better than his, another unusual and intriguing bit of business here). And equally interesting is that Obama, who may have been a beneficiary of this Muslim money, and may now be in this Muslim debt, has aggressively pursued both of the Muslim agendas I cited above. And, also equally interesting, is that Obama has paid a king’s ransom for court ordered seals of any such records of this potential financing of his college education, and perhaps, of other of his expenses.

Lastly, it’s very important to note that the main source for the article is Khalid Mansour, “the same lawyer who allegedly helped arrange for the entrance of Barack Obama into Harvard Law School in 1988.” (Valerie Jarrett, by the way, was born in Iran. The one country protected by Obama from the sweep of the Arab Spring.) Now all of this may seem sensational, but let’s face facts. What makes it most disturbing is that not only is it all logical, but it suddenly makes a lot of previously confusing things make perfect sense. – Pat Dollard

On Thursday, KOMO reported that the city of Seattle has issued a memo telling city workers the terms “citizen” and “brown bag” are no longer acceptable for city documents and discussions.

A memo released by the Office for Civil Rights says the terms are potentially offensive and other words should be used.

“Luckily,” Elliott Bronstein wrote, “we’ve got options.”

“For ‘citizens,’ how about ‘residents?'” she wrote.

The office told KOMO the city serves all residents, not just U.S. citizens.

Bronstein also told KOMO the term “brown bag” has a sordid history with racial undertones.

“It used to be a way people could judge skin color,” she said.

“For a lot of particularly African-American community members, the phrase brown bag does bring up associations with the past when a brown bag was actually used, I understand, to determine if people’s skin color was light enough to allow admission to an event or to come into a party that was being held in a private home,” she added.

The Obama administration on Wednesday made public a previously classified order that directed a company identified by U.S. officials as Verizon Communications to turn over a vast number of Americans’ phone records.

The formerly secret order was unveiled along with other documents by Director of National Intelligence James R. Clapper Jr. as top Obama administration officials were preparing to testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee in a hearing on oversight of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA).

A statement issued by Clapper’s office said he “has determined that the release of these documents is in the public interest.”

The primary court order sets forth the government’s privacy safeguards for the National Security Agency’s program to collect the bulk phone call detail records of millions of Americans. The order, signed by a judge from the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court, does not give a detailed explanation of the legal rationale for the program.

Rather, it is an apparent effort by the administration to allay privacy concerns raised by the leaking of a secondary court order by former NSA contractor Edward Snowden that documented the NSA’s program to collect “all call detail records” of phone calls from U.S. phone companies for counterterrorism purposes.

According to the order released Wednesday, the court found that there were “reasonable grounds to believe that the [records sought] are relevant to authorized investigations being conducted by the FBI . . . to protect against international terrorism.”

Although no company names appear on the heavily redacted court order, senior U.S. officials said it was issued by the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court to a subsidiary of Verizon in April. Officials described it as the formal order underlying the directive that was disclosed in June by Snowden, who is accused of leaking classified information about surveillance programs.

The officials, speaking on the condition of anonymity before the order was released because they were not authorized to speak publicly, expressed hope that the document would shed light on how the U.S. government obtains communications records under FISA and the restrictions placed on surveillance programs.

The order from April covers the same length of time as the order previously disclosed by Snowden. Officials have said the Justice Department seeks renewal for the bulk-collection orders every 90 days.

The formerly “top secret” 17-page order, redacted to remove any information about the company providing the records or the target of the investigation, was originally scheduled to be declassified in April 2038. It demands “all call detail records or ‘telephony metadata’ created by [redacted].” A footnote specifies that “telephone metadata does not include the substantive content of any communication . . . or the name, address, or financial information of a subscriber or customer.”

The order notes that the NSA must “strictly adhere” to “minimization” procedures to protect the privacy of U.S. persons, for example, by allowing only authorized personnel to have access to the data.

The Government thinks that people like me are “terrorists” though people like me are the most loyal to America and the American Way of Life.  We’re the people who gave our time to keep America safe.  Some of us died in battle protecting this country and protecting Liberty.  Yet some of us return from foreign lands, tired, poor and as huddled masses forced to live with the memories of horrors seen in those foreign lands.

What does our government do?  Declares those veterans a danger to themselves, the public or whatever.

It is time this crap stopped.

It is time for Americans to rise up and put a stop to the “Hope and Change” that has been foisted upon us all in the name of “Social Justice” and “Economic Equality”, “Socialism” and outright Marxism.

New elections are coming soon.  Either get up off your lazy asses, and turn OFF the television and start working to remove the criminals in office, and further prevent damage to this country or it will be people like American Patriots who do the job;  and it won’t be pretty, it won’t be nice and likely won’t be something anyone else can stomach.  The time is NOW to throw off your chains, otherwise, you remain prisoner and slave to this NeoMarxism pressed upon us.

Awaken Americans!  Stand up and fight back!

WHAT IT MEANS TO BE WHITE IN AMERICA

The president told us on Friday what it’s like to be black in America.

A couple of days before that, his attorney general said that America needs to be honest about race. Since then, any number of prominent black people have said we need to have a national discussion about race.

So let’s.

Let’s have a discussion about race.

Not a one-sided harangue, but a two-way discussion. Let’s move beyond the politically correct “Whites are racists, blacks are victims” and actually talk things out.

You do that by hearing both sides.

Toward that end, in the spirit of the president’s remarks, I’d like to discuss what it’s like to be a white man in America. And I’d like to be held to the same standard as the president. His remarks were personal impressions based on generalizations, traditions, culture and folklore.

He was called brave.

I’ll be called racist.

That’s because our system is based on a double standard. Black criticisms of white society are insightful; white criticisms of black society are bigotry.

White people know that if they say anything that doesn’t exactly toe the line of political correctness, they run the risk of losing their jobs and their public reputations. We live in a society where the accusation of racism is evidence enough; to be accused is to be guilty.

That’s what we white people think.

We also think that we pay the bills. We think that we disproportionately pay the taxes and that black people disproportionately collect the welfare. We feel like we are being ripped off and that this uneven shouldering of the burden will eventually bankrupt and kill our country.

I work in a building that houses a Social Security office. One elevator serves that office specifically. It is stunning to note the demographic difference between the elevators. Overwhelmingly, white people go up one set of elevators to work, and black people go up the other set of elevators to apply for SSI.

Young, healthy people.

All day long.

A coming Civil War

It occurred to me a few hours ago when I was writing something that this whole thing, this Zimmerman thing, the “race baiting”, the race card playing, the pressure from above to cause riots and dissension among the people of this country is planned; part and parcel of a larger “conspiracy” (for lack of a better word) to completely terminate what America was and once stood for.

I mean we all suspect it, but seriously, how many times has Obama said of himself that he was like Lincoln, or worse, his people have said it and he’s been quiet about the whole thing?

Here’s one instance:

 “Actually, Mr. Obama has evoked deliberately comparisons with Lincoln ever since he announced his candidacy for president on Feb. 10, 2007, at the Old State Capitol building in Springfield, Ill,” Boyer wrote. “He chose the site because it was the same place where Lincoln gave a famous speech condemning slavery and called for the Northern and Southern states to unite.”

Now…. what BETTER way to put himself in a “good light” with “his people” (I’m talking about the American people now, not his black friends) than to sound and act like Lincoln IF ONLY he had a National Crisis similar to that which once faced Lincoln himself; the breakup of America.  States seceding from the Union would do it.  Better yet a complete and total breakdown of Society to include a Civil War!

After all, could he not then be compared to Mandela AND Lincoln if only he could get a race war started.   What if the word “apartheid” started making the rounds in the media as well?  Could not Obama himself be seen as “Great” as Lincoln himself, and Nelson Mandela if ONLY he could re-unite the country after a bloody civil war, or better a race war.  Why not kill two birds with one stone, so to speak?

So what if “Hispanic” is an ethic title,  George IS white.  And poor little 12-year-old-in-pictures Trayvon was an innocent little boy eating his candy and drinking his tea minding his own business.

Never MIND all the people drinking the Kool-Aid.

Selective silencing: Was Michael Hastings murdered?

18 July 2013: Based on my research as a professionally licensed investigator with nearly 30 years of experience, I wish to be on record that it is my professional opinion that investigative journalist Michael Hastings was murdered. It was exactly one month ago today, on June 18, 2013 that Hastings, 33, was killed in a single vehicle crash in the darkest hours of the night on a deserted Los Angeles city street. According to official reports, Mr. Hastings was the driver and sole occupant of a 2013 model CLK250 Mercedes Benz traveling south on Highland Avenue at a high rate of speed when he reportedly struck a palm tree located in the median on Highland Avenue, near the intersection of Melrose, at 4:20 a.m. Pacific Time. Also according to official reports, Mr. Hastings’ vehicle burst into flames upon impact, incinerating the vehicle and everything inside, including his body.

Michael Hastings was a correspondent for Newsweek and extensively covered the war in Iraq. He was also a reporter for BuzzFeed and a contributing editor to Rolling Stone Magazine. It was in 2010 when he gained widespread attention for his profile of General Stanley McChrystal, then-commander of NATO’s security force in Afghanistan, in a revealing report titled “The Runaway General.” It was this report that led to the general’s resignation for his contemptuous remarks about Barack Hussein Obama and Joseph Biden.

“Our motto today is: We’re fired up and we’re not going to take it anymore,” said community activist Quanell X.

The rally began about 7 p.m. at Byrd Funeral Home, 2517 Wheeler, near the campus of Texas Southern University. Organizers said that location was picked for a reason.

“This is where they wish to send young black men – to the funeral home,” Quanell X said.

It was a dramatic theme that was repeated along the march route with protesters solemnly pushing a casket behind a hearse.

Bianca Fisher said she wasn’t particularly surprised that the jury set Zimmerman free.

“The mission of the judicial system is to enslave black people,” she said.

Benita Gordon brought her son, Devon, to the protest, which lasted about 90 minutes.

“We’re walking tonight for Trayvon,” she said. “We need fair rules all the way around.”

Marchers shut down southbound traffic along Texas 288 at Southmore for about 10-15 minutes. No police were seen. The crowds allowed an ambulance to pass, but other motorists were forced to wait.

“It’s civil disobedience. The people are angry and have a right to be angry,” Quanell X said.

The U.S Department of Justice is asking civil rights groups and community leaders to “actively refer anyone who [has] any information” that might help bring federal criminal charges against George Zimmerman, who was recently acquitted by a jury in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin.

The DOJ has reportedly set up a public email address to take in tips on its civil rights investigation. The department is hoping to get tips from across the nation as well as locally in Sanford, Fla.

That email address, which is now “in operation,” is Sanford.florida@usdoj.gov.

It is unclear why, if officials saw enough reason to open an investigation in the first place, the DOJ now needs tips to help with its probe into Zimmerman.

Barbara Arnwine, president and executive director the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law, said the DOJ during a conference called on individuals and groups “to actively refer anyone who had any information” that might build a case against Zimmerman for a civil rights violation or a hate crime, according to the Orlando Sentinel.

“They said they would very aggressively investigate this case,” she added.

Also on the DOJ conference call was, “Sherrilyn Ifill, President and Director-Counsel of the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund; Laura Murphy, Washington Chapter head of the ACLU; and several national, Florida and Sanford-based “human relations” groups participated, Arnwine said,” the Sentinel reports.

Attorney General Eric Holder has called Martin’s death unnecessary and has promised the DOJ will work to “alleviate tensions, address community concerns and promote healing.”

The Stakes of the Trayvon Martin Case… and the Need to SEIZE THE TIME!

Trayvon Martin was a 17-year-old African-American, walking home at 7:30 pm with a can of ice tea and a bag of candy. George Zimmerman had never talked to Trayvon Martin, never met Trayvon Martin, knew nothing about Trayvon Martin, never even heard of him. But nevertheless this society—this system—had trained George Zimmerman to “know” and to say that Trayvon Martin was “suspicious” and more—that Trayvon Martin was a “fucking punk…a fucking asshole” who “always gets away with it.”

George Zimmerman had no training, no judgment, no sense of the gravity of human life, nor any shred of respect or feeling for the lives of people like Trayvon Martin. Yet George Zimmerman carried a pistol with hollow-point “man-killer” bullets as he prowled in his car, with the blessings of this system. George Zimmerman stalked Trayvon Martin, with that pistol in his jacket, and George Zimmerman then confronted Trayvon Martin, feeling the whole strength of this system behind him. And then George Zimmerman decided to kill Trayvon Martin.

This was one more horrible, heartbreaking outrage at the end of a 400-year chain of such outrages. That is the heart of the matter.

Right now, American society—with the whole world increasingly taking notice—is polarizing. Two sides are lining up—one upholding the right of the Trayvon Martins of this world to live and flourish and, if they are attacked, to have justice… and the other upholding the supposed rights of people like George Zimmerman to kill people like Trayvon with impunity. This should be clear, but every day the powers-that-be work to cloud this, so we must all insist on this basic truth.

And every day the breadth and ferocity of this polarization grow and intensify. Last week the reactionaries vented their hatred and fury on Trayvon’s friend Rachel Jeantel in a vicious, gutter-level attack by a “virtual” mob. Rachel Jeantel is a key witness in the trial, the person Trayvon was talking to on the phone when George Zimmerman confronted him. Once again, these bullies had been trained to act and react by a system, to spew their ignorant venom full of the confidence of someone who feels they have power on their side. This kind of shit must be fought all along the way, and this growing polarization must be repolarized into deeper and broader energy, clarity, and direction for justice for Trayvon Martin… and for revolution and emancipation altogether.

You who read this paper must now step up. You have a chance to change history and you cannot step aside from that. Here is some of what you can do:

  • Get what revcom.us has to say into social media… inject its leadership into the intensifying societal debate… get to us with ideas on how to do it and take initiative yourself…
  • Take out materials on this trial—our newspaper, or materials from the Stop Mass Incarceration Network, or other positive things—and get them into people’s hands, even if it is just you and a friend at first… grow these into impromptu speak-outs and demonstrations when you do…
  • Spread the “We Say NO MORE” statement and get people to sign it… change the polarization and give strength and expression to the side of justice…
  • Answer the call of the Stop Mass Incarceration Network (SMIN) (check online at stopmassincarceration.net and revcom.us) to build public vigils when the jury goes out, so that there is a powerful collective response to the verdict… and join with that network, supporting and participating in it…
  • Donate funds to revcom.us so that we can create MAXIMUM social impact…

And most of all, this: the most essential and important fact about the world today is that the Trayvon Martins in it DO NOT HAVE TO DIE. The most essential fact is that a society is possible in which the Trayvon Martins and Rachel Jeantels and the millions and billions like them, here and around the world, can not only survive, but can flourish and fully contribute all they have to offer to the world. Such a society is possible through revolution—a revolution based on the theory developed by Bob Avakian and won with the leadership provided by the Party he leads, the Revolutionary Communist Party. Justice Department faces evidence hurdles in proving Zimmerman bias after verdict

The Justice Department was running into immediate hurdles Monday in its investigation of possible civil rights violations by George Zimmerman in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin — namely, that after examining the case for more than a year, the evidence has not changed.

Though the department announced after Zimmerman’s acquittal that it would consider a possible federal case, previously filed FBI documents show agents have not turned up any accounts that Zimmerman, before the February 2012 shooting, exhibited racial bias. Sanford police detective Chris Serino also told FBI agents last year that he considered Zimmerman as having “a little hero complex, but not as a racist.”

Attorney General Eric Holder, in his first post-verdict comments, confirmed Monday during a speech in Washington, D.C., that his department continues to investigate while signaling concern for the position of the Martin family and those — such as the NAACP — pressuring the DOJ. He said the department is “mindful of the pain felt by our nation” over the “tragic, unnecessary shooting death” of Martin.

Media Alert: Eric Holder to speak on Zimmerman

Breaking news; Attorney General is going to speak shortly about Zimmerman.  He will be speaking at a Voting Rights event shortly.  Note that the FBI has already stated that there are NO charges to be brought against Zimmerman in regards to civil rights violations.  Zimmerman was acquitted of all charges Friday evening after a 16 hour jury deliberation.

Our gun grabber in chief spoke this weekend about the Zimmerman acquittal. Just as he used the Sandy Hook tragedy to immediately call for the destruction of our Constitution, he’s now calling for more gun control in the wake of the Zimmerman trial.  As surreal as it may seem, I’m not making this up.  Here’s what Obama said the day after Zimmerman was found not guilty.

We should ask ourselves if we’re doing all we can to stem the tide of gun violence that claims too many lives across this country on a daily basis. We should ask ourselves, as individuals and as a society, how we can prevent future tragedies like this [Zimmerman case]. As citizens, that’s a job for all of us. That’s the way to honor Trayvon Martin.

The ink isn’t even dry on the verdict and Obama is already using a tragedy to once again attempt a power grab by the federal government.  Last time he stood on the still warm bodies of the Sandy Hook victims to push his anti-gun agenda forward.  He is completely shameless and it’s disgusting to witness.

Apparently the President thinks that Zimmerman is guilty of murder and walked free due to some failing of the justice system.  He’s now grouping a legal self defense shooting into the same category as criminal uses of firearms and using it as justification to push his anti-gun agenda forward.  That means those of us who carry firearms for personal protection are part of the problem, according to Obama, and we must be stopped for the greater good of the community. In the President’s eyes I’m just as bad as a gangbanger because I have a CCW.

Many people worried there would be widespread rioting in American cities if George Zimmerman walked out of a Florida courtroom a free man. And some were all too willing Saturday night to spread that fear.

Following the not guilty verdict in the Trayvon Martin case, in which neighbourhood watch captain Zimmerman was acquitted of second-degree murder charges, a misleading video made the rounds online apparently depicting a riot in progress in Miami.

The video, first uploaded to YouTube and later reposted at World Star Hip Hop, was shared tens of thousands of times on Saturday night. However, the video actually depicted part of the 2011 Vancouver riots, which shook that city following the Vancouver Canucks’ loss to the Boston Bruins in the Stanley Cup finals.

Most Canadians would have recognized the video’s location immediately since whoever shot the original footage mentions Vancouver’s Granville Street, Prime Minister Stephen Harper, and suggests the police should go “all Dziekański” on the rioters — a reference to the death of Polish immigrant Robert Dziekański, whose death at the Vancouver airport in 2007 made national headlines.

But to an American listener, those cues may well have gotten lost. Shot from a distance, the only thing clearly visible in the video is a sea of people clogging a street as a fire burns in the distance. The narrator’s suggestion that “hopefully the police are cracking skulls tonight” and insistence that “this is one of the only times that I approve of police brutality” would also have enraged many Americans who feel the verdict was unjust.

Although some people on Twitter tried to point out the truth, many others continued to spread the false rumour that there was a riot in Miami. There were no Zimmerman-related riots reported in any American cities as of this writing.

There are also no mountains in Miami.
