Mike Rowe is famous for his TV show, “Dirty Jobs” and this brilliant Wal-Mart commercial that drew ire from the progressives in America who hate Wal-Mart…and apparently honest, hard work:
In my opinion, Rowe is a modern version of Thomas Jefferson and James Madison all rolled into one. He has taken on the progressive ethos in this country that America no longer is a place where work is valued and we are all wards of the state. To that end, he has set up a foundation, Mike Rowe Works, to help fill the 4 million or so jobs that are left wanting in the country today. He also created the S.W.E.A.T. Pledge, a 12 point recitation of basic common sense for job seekers.
